Was getting calls from this number.  Only music would play.  Called back now and got my number removed.

They call every day and night and when I don't answer they leave me voicemails that are the same as if I was to answer. Some weird elevator music for 39 seconds and then a voice that I can't even understand what says.

i keep getting calls from this number and they dont leave a  message when i call back it says its ERC no clue what that is.

I don't answer either. I don't answer numbers I don't know and if they are not courteous enough to leave a message after calling me 5x a day, every day, then I have no reason to answer.

I got 5 calls from this number today. It is quite annoying and leaves no message.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. They are the ones that oversee collection agencies. Also file a complaint with your state AG office.
There are a lot of collection agencies that are trying to con people into paying
debts that they never owed or have paid off.
Be sure to state in your complaint if it was a recorded message.

They call my parents house once a month asking for my brother who has been deceased for 4 years. All his bills were paid after his death.....so it has to be a scam. I had to talk them into no answering the phone....they feel it's their obligation to pay....but again, he has NO BILLS!!! Very frustrating!!!

I also got a call from this number for a "Jeremy". I called them back, gave them my number and they removed it from their system.
Just call them and tell them that it's the wrong number! Took me like 2 minutes to do.

they just called my house for my husband and he doesnt owe anyone any money. i have my house number on the do not call list so why the hell call here if they aint suppose to.

I got a call from these guys for an ex-employee.  I called them back with the reference number their computer rattled off to me.  I spoke to a nice lady who SAID she was going to take the number off of their list.  We'll see what happens.

You must not live in the real world. I don't agree with a lawsuit but I get calls form collection agencies for other peoples collection problems.  I receive one weekly for my former wife from 18 years ago. I called these a***oles and suggested they stop calling me but it still continues to this day.  It started about three months ago.  So NOW I CALL THEM AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE ON THE 800 number just to screw with them, I also answer now and then and yell at them to stop calling.  It still continues but it is less stressful when I yell at them.  I don't owe anyone but I still get the calls so what else can I do except fu--k with them.  They leave a message that they are with the City Clerk's office each time I found out that they are just a scum collection agencie and they are not just doing their jobs. They scam people and attempt to collect debt that is too old to collect on or they just bug the wrong person.  Bunch of SCUM.

I got a call from 800-474-0291 and my caller ID said ERC. A woman came on asking my name and wanted me to verify my address. I asked her who she was and what this call was regarding. She told me she would tell me once I verified my address. I refused and she hung up. I have current credit reports and have no delinguencies

15 calls and each time it is for a different person they come right at 8 a.m. and I am just getting to sleep from being up all night. They will not remove the calls and act like it is my fault.

They have been harassing me as well, over a debt they refuse to validate and that I'm quite sure isn't even mine.

Yesterday I had a "Brandi" on the phone with me, who was getting very threatening and at times *screaming* into the phone. This was due to my catching her in a blatant lie and calling her on it, which she wasn't very happy for.

Brandi: Sir, we sent you validation of the debt three months ago!

Me: Oh, really. Where is it? Because I never recieved it.

B: We sent it to you, sir.

Me: Which address?

B: *repeats address*

Me: No return to Sender?

B: No.

Me: Then you never sent it. Because that IS my address. You're lying to me.

B: Sir, we sent it TWICE!

Me: Twice, now? Strange how I didn't get two letters from you.

B: We sent it THREE TIMES!

These people are liars, scam-artists, bullshitters, you name it.

They will continue on until somebody finally has enough and sues the company into oblivion. These jack***es will more than likely pull another "debt" out of thin air after you pay off whichever fake debt you supposedly owe.

Don't deal with them. It's risky enough trying to talk to these rocket scientists.

I registered with do not call registry and I still got this 8004740201.  Who should I file a complaint?

You can make a complaint with donotcall.gov but i highly reccomend you contact them one more time and let them know your number in "PON"  (put on notice) theyll request 24 hours to remove your number from the automatic dialer(it does take 24 hours, no away around that) and the calls will cease. Unfortunantely, if you are not kind to these people they wont do much due the fact that all they hear all day is F you, get a real job, so on and so forth.

I know there is dirty agencies out there who do not follow FDCPA regulations, and theyll get theres when the time is right but please dont let misinformed agents represent those of us who follow the rules and treat our clients with respect

as collection agents the only information we see is what pops up on our screen. The persistance and "rudeness" is nothing personal nor is it intended, we just deal with people all day who tell us wrong number(be it true or false) and our job is to see through that. If that number was once tied with a debt, unfortunately until YOU PON(put on notice) it the calls will continue.

They are calling my work phone with an automated message about being a collection agency with a number to call back & a code.  I wish I knew what they are calling about.  I owe no one.

DOESN'T WORK. THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING MY NUMBER LOOKING FOR JOHNNY LARRY FOR 4 YEARS.

NOTHING WORKS. I FINALLY DECIDED THAT I WOULD LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR CALLS.
