This is from a company that sells time shares and the "free cruise" is how they get you to listen to their speel.  We tried it as we like to cruise.  My husband firmly said, cruise only, nothing before or after.  By not participating in their speel, we were put in a tiny stateroom that was smaller than our bathroom and this was after the $100 upgrade we paid.  We had to pay own air fare.  Can you imagine what we would have had?  The bed was a full size and it was up against 3 of the four walls in the room.  The food was good, service good, etc.  It was a quick trip to the Bahamas and then you either did the Sales pitch before or after.  Some of the people we talked to did one or the other.  Its not a bad deal if this is what you are looking for.  I agree with the one post, book your own cruise on a cruise line.  You get what you pay for in the long run.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well.  Every day now, at least 3 times a day, for the last 2 weeks.  I have tried calling them, most of the time I hear the phone ring, get the message that the agent will be right with me, and then nothing happens.  I called back today and finally got through, when the person answered it was so quiet I could barely hear them but I asked him to take my number off the list anyway.  He said he would look into it and then hung up.

I am in Canada as well and for those of you who also are, you can file a complaint on our National Do Not Call List at the following location:

I just filed a complaint and hopefully this will be looked into.

I have been recieving calls from this number, countless times during the week. About 2 weeks ago, I answered, and the agent informed me a vacation I purchased had expired, and he would reactivate it for $600.00. (I would be a fool). Anyways, he was very rude after I insisted, I would not be purchasing another package, since I had lost out on the first $300. He claimed it would be my last chance, and if I hung up, I would never get another chance. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later, i am still recieving the calls!!!! I need them to stop calling me!!!!

I also paid for a vacation about 2 years ago. i talked to an agent last week, who informed me my vacation had expired, and he could reactivate it for 600.00. (Krazy) anyways, he claim i had to make the purchase, or i would loose out entirely. why would i make the mistake, the same as i made the first. i thought they would not call me again, unfortunately they still do!!

Yes, we receive two or three calls a day from this number and a lady named Tina.  If it is the Ramada Vacations/Free Cruise then PLEASE BEWARE.  We were sucked into this package several years ago and ended up paying a small fortune for the worst accomadations we have ever had.  One hotel in Fort Lauderdale had mold all through the building, the ship was the smallest and oldest cruise ship I have ever been on.  The only good thing was that the crew was nice.  We found out later we could have been on a REAL CRUISE SHIP with a REAL ROOM (you could hardly walk into our room) for less money.  On top of all of that we had to listen to a two hour sales spill.  Whatever you do - don't give them you credit information.  I am not sure how they are legitimate, but they are!

I didn't think cell phones had to be registered.  I have registered it and can’t report them on the national registry for 31 days..

They have been calling me too....Has anyone tried calling them saying what Jim from Nov. 5 2008 tried?  Did it work?  He recommended this:

Call them and say "this is a security line" This number is connected to a gate system. You are calling a guard shack. They will remove it then. Otherwise they "yes" you and dont remove it.

Please let me know I want this to stop and don't want to give my number unless it really will!

Many, many calls from this #. Last night I called to request my # be removed and was asked for my name. I told the person that he wasn't entitled to that information and he hung up on me. I called again today and was told , by Adrian ,that they -"Ramada Plaza Resorts"- are fully supported by the Better Business Bureau and the US Attorney General's office. I'm checking into that.

We receive several calls from this number and from a lady named Tina. Tina appears to be a computer generated caller. If want a time share brief(s), then this is the vacation for you.  Each package is very different and you must attend these briefs to get some of your vouchers.  I am very sad to know that Ramada maybe connected with these companies.  Vacations/Free Cruise then BUYER PLEASE BEWARE.  The ship was good but might want to upgrade for a bigger cabin and the crew was very nice.  I am not sure if they are legitimate, but if they are, they should be up front and not hide most of the details!

They call me everyday! I have called twice to get off their calling list with no results. Dial *77 and this will activate anonymous call rejection. You will hear 3 short tones after you enter *77 letting you know it worked. Try this since this caller is unidentified in caller ID. Good luck with these telephone intruders!

I actually took the vacation they offered. It was about 500 for 7 days. It included crappy hotel and crappy meals. There was a car rental that was supposed to be included free but we got sucked into paying 300 for temp. insurance. We did not take the cruise. The catch is you have to view a timeshare presentation. They basically put you in a crap hotel, show you a beautiful timeshare, and send you on a short cruise.

They recently started calling me again. When I complained about the hotel conditions the first time around, they hung up on me. They continue to call me every day.

Overall, it really wasn't all bad but after airfare and all the other incidentals, it really isn't a good deal at all. About the same price as any AAA planned vacation with more hassle.

Received may calls from this number on husband cell phone. I finally called back this morning and receive very interesting information. We apparently bought a $900.00 vacation in 2009 and it is going to expire. I asked my husband and he said no. Which is good since we did not have money for that. They wanted to talk to him because his name was on the account. When asked what card it was put on the women on the phone stated a Visa starting with at 4. Funny ALL Visas start with a 4 and when asked for the last 4 number we were told it ended in a 3. Even more funny since we have 2 Visas and neither end in a 3. We were told our vacation was going to expire and that for a fee we could extend it. When asked to speak to a supervisor we received the run around of course. Now if it was real not be on the phone when you call us?

Same here.  They first stated I had purchased a cruise trip in May 20th 2009.  I asked how that happened since I know I did not.  I asked which card did I use?  No reply.  Then she said I won a trip.  I said you switch on me, that sound suspect.  She put me on hold and disconnnected.  What a scam!  This b.s. should be illegal....

I actually went through the time share spiel and took the cruise a couple years ago. There was no charge to me, which is about what it was worth. Now I constantly get calls from "Tina" or "Gina". I have called twice and they assured me they would put me on the no call list, which they have not. Would it help to notify the F.C.C or the fort Lauderdale  B.B.B. ?

It is Ramada calling, not the cruiseline they have contracted with, which is Celebration Cruises (the owners of the now defunct IMCL have partial holdings). As far as the cruise goes, the drink prices are cheaper than Carnival or Royal Caribbean and you can't beat the base price of the cruise itself.  They've had a new ship, which they have sunk over $100,000,000.00 into, for over a year now. I was recently on Royal Caribbean & was disappointed by overflowing ashtrays on deck, a non-existent cabin steward, etc.  Celebration Cruises has a crew which blows RCCL away.  Ramada kept calling me last year for a "package" too.  I told them I was a FL resident & not interested in staying at a hotel here when I have my home, and I asked not to be called anymore; they stopped.  Ramada has just recently started calling me again, but only a couple of times and I haven't been able to catch their call to ask them to stop again.  It is disturbing they are now using a ploy of an already purchased package that is about to expire. The link for the Better Business Bureau in their area is: http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/
