I think this is a collection agency that does not work for Bell. They claim to have outstanding balances on old accounts. Bell doesn't let you have a new account unless all the old ones are paid off. I believe these people are frauds.

This number 800-477-9205 goes to a call centre in the Philippines that Bell Canada contracted out their (fake) billings to. Absolute waste of time. People sign up fake accounts using your number and Bell Canada sends their collections to this call centre in the Philippines.

CBV collections who claim to collect on behalf of Bell. Their representatives misrepresent themselves. I have two Bell accounts for home -Fibe TV - Internet - Bell Mobility... These accounts are long standing and current. If I had an overdue acct. Bell would withhold services. So these people call and several times the caller stated that it was Bell calling. I said you are lying to me, you do not work for Bell, and I have called the local police and the RCMP. They hang up immediately. The police are investigating. Oh and they don't call me anymore. It's been 3 days since they last hung up on me, so now I am really wondering who/what this CBV company represents?  It appears they have hustle going.

Message left on my phone from this number today:  "can leave you voice mails all day, I don't care."  Unprofessional!!!

I have no idea who is calling me from this number.  They do not leave a message.  My personal number is on the National do NOT call list

Oh my friend are you wrong...check the Collections Agencies Act..Bell Canada falls under the same rules and Laws as any other Debt Collection Agency.  

My husband and I are going through something similar with Bell, they call all the time (up to 20 times a day on the cell and home phone!)  We have even made "firm" arrangements to pay what we owe in back payments in a small sum every 2 weeks, (lateness in paying is due to sickness in family), and they said that they will make a note on our file....LIESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!  Because they keep calling back and asking when we are going to make our next payment!!  They once even cut off the cell phone when the guy my husband was speaking to from Bell, said they wouldn't!  It took 2 days before the cell phone was back up and running!  

Laws of Collection Agencies Act:  Bell cannot insist you make full payment to them for debt!! In fact they can't insist on anything.  They can ask for whatever they want, be it partial, monthly or weekly, etc.  You don't have to make anything firm unless Court Ordered.  (but they could very well shut off your phone and that is the sad part of all this!)  

If you are making payments, then they (by Law) can't shut off your phone, along the same lines if your making payments on anything, no Small Claims Court will not proceed with claim as your trying to make restitution.  

What really bothers me is that here we are "small" fish, with relatively a small bill, and they are going after us instead of all the "big fish" that owe so much more than we do!!   Just a word of caution, make sure that every time they call, note every call, time and date, as this can be used as evidence for a harassment suit!!  Already started mine...with up to 20 calls a day, man have I got ammunition!!

I got a call from this number today as well. When answered a recording asked me to hold to be connected to the next available person!  I hung up!  Bell needs to get a handle on their business!  I have been trying to resolve things with them since early December and I have put in about 10 hours trying to do so!  I'm not on their payroll, yet I am having to do all their work!  Bell owes me money yet they will not address this!  Stupid, ignorant company!  We yanked our business and went to Shaw!

This credit company calls more than 5 times a day INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT WE DO NOT OWE ANY $$.  How can I register a compliant and with whom?

They also manage to create fake websites and steal information from bell, that is how they know names- but bell claims due to some law theres no way they can stop it. but they urged me to never give my information over the phone- bell has this already and would never need it over the phone.

I have had this number call multiple times. it is indeed a SCAM- i called bell and told them about it and gave them the number- the number is in no way associated with bell.
i have been getting calls  2-3 times a day for 2 weeks from this number , i asked to speak to a manger many times and they hang up, i threatened to call the cops and they hang up. SCAM! do not give information

These guys are calling me every freaking day. I don't know if it's Bell but I hate them. They continually screw me around in a multitude of ways from bad service to faulty equipment, to incorrect and late billing. I've been paying them for 4  years without fail yet I get a couple days behind their stupid random date billing and que the harrasment.

Tried to tell me my phone was up for disconnection.

I provided a confirmation number of internet banking payment, which was made two weeks ago. She denied it, and she tried to get me to give her MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER! I flatly refused, and told her my bank account number is none of her business, and then she very quickly hung up! I cannot see this as anything other than a scam operation, and will never answer the phone again when this number shows.

It IS important to take this call ans when you reach a real person abuses them and call them names. I have yet to figure out what the hell they are up to but the more you abuse the FOREIGN employees the more they will want to quit.

Some readers will say that these dimwits are only trying to make a living and to that I say B.S. Bell is employing foreigners to do jobs that should be done in Canada. I don't give a dam about globalization or whether a Filipino or Indian has a job and I tell these people that at every opportunity.

These dimwits are nuts. Being retired I love to play with this sort of call. After some button pushing I was asked if I wanted to record a payment. I indicated YES. They asked for my number so I gave them the one I used to have 12 years ago. They then asked how much I had paid so I entered $247. They then asked how I paid the bill and responded it was through a credit union. The recording said Thanks and gave me a confirmation number.

At no time did they ask for any info such as a bank # etc. Sounds to me like just another Bell B.S. scheme. This company is crazy and I love it when I can tie up their lines with these kind of activities. Another thing I do is connect my California line to an auto dialer on my pc and continuously dial the numb then hand up when it answers.

Don't be afraid to abuse the morons on the other end. They are always in a foreign call centre so do not reserved a job calling Canadians. I might actually be civil to a Canadian call centre person but as we all know Bell chooses to offshore their customer service rather than supporting Canadians who pay THEIR bills so all I will do is play with them and cause trouble.

I just got a call from this number. The lady asked for my dead father even though he isn't the account owner so I told her to get a ouija board and hung up.

Got a call today from this number. They left no message. I then called back the number and was asked to verify my phone #on their system. Surprisingly my number was not in their system. So I called 310 Bell to ask who called and what for. The Rep pulled my file up and said, " sorry there is no indication/or note saying anyone called you today Dec 11/13. She asked for the number I gave it to her 1-800-477-9205 and said, "that number belongs to our Credit Department"- I am getting frustrated because I have always paid my bills on time. Further asked her why I was not receiving my bill, she said she will send me another one (November bill). It seems she was trying to put the blame on Canada Post for not delivering my mail. My Bill date is on the 8th of every month!! I further asked her to tell me exactly what would my December/13 bill amount to. I need the exact total. Her Reply was " I am sorry but your December bill is not printed yet" I said WHAT!! today is Dec 11. My Bill date is on the 8th of every month. So there is your mistake. The reason why they fail to print and mail my bill and this has been happening for the last 3 months. So every %$% month I have to talk with these idiots about my bill. I hated it.. Now they are harassing me for no reason!. I have had their services for the last 5 months and it has been a nightmare. Is anyone responsible for this harassment.. My caller ID recorded their calls. 1-800-477-9205 After I spoke to this rep- I repeatedly told her I want no called from Bell and it should be noted on my file. But 2 hours later I got another call - the caller was on the line - in silent. I waited and they hung up.. This is not professional for Bell. I have yet to answer when they call and they never leave a msg! In reading this, I understand that it's Bell calling which I find funny because they are calling my company cell...but even funnier yet is that my company isn't with Bell....they're with Telus!

you know it would be nice if they leave a message and say we would like to know when you are sending your next payment in etc, etc. If they're not going to do so, then I'm just going to assume they're telemarketers.

I just got a call from Bell.  I have told them many times that my disability cheque comes at the end of the month and that they might as well not call me because I have no money at this time.  I told them to put this on my file so I won't be bothered with them but I guess they didn't do that because I'm still getting called.  It'

Just got a call from this number from a woman I could barely understand. She asked for two first names that don't reside at this address. I advised the woman of this fact and she told me she was calling from bell canada. Excuse my ignorance but shouldn't the telephone provider know your telephone number? We have recently moved and got this new number in August and have no end of trouble getting our service straightened out with bell. Now this just takes the cake. Just when I thought everything was on the up and up they're calling for people that don't even live here and asking me to "pass on a message." Lol. To top it all off the people that used to have this number have a new number with bell as their service provider! That's it, I'm investing in messenger pigeons!!
