I received a voice mail message on my cell from a 'supposedly' Frank Shapiro (?) from a 'supposedly' Shapiro Weinberg's ofc. He proceeded to say that there is pending civil matter that required my attention. He then had a bunch of other jibberish about being in the state of MO. He left a case number and mentioned he didn't want me to be blindsided. Whatever he said made no sense to me as he left me a contact #800-480-7794. The number came through on my cell phone as Unknow Number.
I called the number just to see what they were going to say and a women voice on answering machine picked up answering S & R Associates. What kind of company are they?

Frank Shaprio calls with a case number and threatened to come to my job. Quite believable at first, until I told him I would consult with an attorney I'll call you back in 30 minutes. He called back more aggressive. Is this a scam and what questions should I ask???

Keep getting this call saying I owe a debt too! That I am going to get served with papers and calling all my friends and relatives. I have no clue who these people are! They say they are Shapiro, Winberg & Assoc. No such law firm exists! And they refuse to fax me any information on this! Help! Any suggestions??

they harrassed my ill mother who is 80 threatening to arrest her becase she would not voulenteer information on any of my family, my poor mom is ill and could of set off her high blood preasure. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR USING ILLEGAL TACTICS.SHAME ON THEM

calling saying they are a law firm shapiro & wineburg,frank shapiro keeps calling but when u call the number back u get an answering machine....i thought law firms have secretarys...dont know if its a collection agency or just a scam...anybody know?
