Same just happened to me. My MC was just billed on Feb 7th for $97.00 and this phone number is listed next to the charge!

A charge of $97.00 appeared on my Master Card 15 days after I received three (3) Emails from NewsMax stating my subscription to some "investment" letter had been cancelled. Tonya, the one I spoke to today, wrote in her first Email: "Please be assured that you will not be billed for any reports of this publication". Another Tonya Email states: "At your request, your free trial subscription has been discontinued." Moments ago, Tonya told me that I cancelled only one area of the package, not the other items. I cancelled what they offered.

The strange part is that I never received anything from this company other than the usual monthly NewsMax magazine. I'll never deal with this company again.    

Exaly same happend to me

I didn't recognize the charge designation on my credit card statement. I found out that i did make it and the charge was valid.

I got a charge on my Visa, its oly $8.90, but I didn't recognize it, so I checked here. If I let ths one go, I might get the $99 one next. I am going to call Visa. I NEVER had anything to do with this company, I have hear George Noury a couple of times and that all, I never called him either. Has anyone brought this to Georges attention? i ONLY GOT A CHARGE, THERE WAS NO PHONE CALL, THAT I ANSWERED OR EVEN SAW ON CALLER I.D. I ignore a lot of calls that I DO see on Caller I.D. now.

I bought something from the TV once, I don't do that anymore. The company pulled a fast one, so I emailed the spokesmans and got a response right away. He was not aware what they were doing and he then divorced himself from that company. It pays to open our mouths sometimes.

I received a charge on my visa card for something I did not authorize.  I am on hold with them right now and have been on hold for about 10 mins.  I don't know where they got my visa card number but they will be reported as stealing my information.  I really don't think they will ans. at all but I have them on speaker and I will see how much longer I have to wait.

was oftered a sum of money for my checking a coupon ofter I received on my net mail I gave the girl my name and address she told me I could cancel out if I excepted her offer and gave me the number to call as 800 485 4350 I than hung-up. I hope I don;t hear from tham  again.I tried calling the number later and was told the number was no longer active.

I was startled to see this $99 charge posted when I checked my account online.  It's the same company.  Getting ready to call them now.  

I had had an earlier one from same company which was a very small amount so I thought I'd cancel it as soon as I could get around to it, but this $99 is too high to ignore for even one day!  I wonder how much the next charge would be if I ignored this one?!  

The earlier poster's mention of police and bank worries me.  I'm optimistically assuming they will cancel it as soon as I cal and tell them they've made a mistake.  :)

I was charged $99.00 on my checking account through my debit card by these vultures. I have my bank and the police working on it. Maybe we can help getting them closed down, but I am not holding my breath.

I was charged twice by different companies both with this number. I think they got my card when I ordered a picture hanging kit from TV.

I have had the same thing happen to me on Christmas day.  I am disputing this charge.  I hope my bank cooperates.

Didn't get a call from'em but I did get billed on my credit card for a subscription renewal that I never had in the first place?  Somehow they have gotten my credit card number and have charged me for a sub I din't have and don't want.  Now I got to go thru the BS of contacting my card company to dispute these fradulent charges.

They entice callers by giving away free junk (radios & subscriptions to magazines). What you really get! Is on a permanent junk mail and telemarketing list.
