They are calling and their company is called Insurance Services [fishy name]. Not sure if this a scam since my father does not have their insurance.

This "insurance" service is total BS. I get these for my mother about once every 2 weeks. Now my mother has been DECEASED since 1997. Just goes to show you their research capabilities here.

I keep getting calls with no one on the line from this number: 800-487-3187

Been receiving calls from insure.com for a couple of months.  Last night (Saturday) 3 calls within an hour.  Have never been to site or requested quote.  Rep challenged me saying I had.  Have asked to be removed from call list numerous times, but to no avail.  Reps extremely rude.  Am being harassed.

It turns out further that this outfit is "Life Quotes" with an "s" on the end, NOT Lifequote.  Immediately after I complained to the latter outfit, they replied that they have been having a lot of difficulty with people thinking they are "Life Quotes" (plural).

The actual culprit is "Life Quotes" with an "s".  The web page carries no contact information beyond a street address in Darien, Ill.  I snailmailed them a letter, filed a do-not-call complaint and wrote Geico that they might want to look for a less sleazy life-insurance outfit.

It turns out this outfit is "Life Quote" to whom Geico gave my number.

Previously I had requested an on-line quote (not a telephone quote) but had left a recording number in case a telemarketer decided to call.  A telemarker "Amy" with no last name did call the recording number "about the quote you requested", but they ALSO came up with my home number somehow and awoke us without leaving a message at 7:09am yesterday and 8:28am today.

When I figured out the situation I dialled 800-487-3187, ext. 310 just as "Amy" had said in their message.  Instead I got a lady (very polite) who said
 - she could not confirm the number I had dialled
 - she could not transfer me to anyone named "Amy" unless I knew her last name
 - she did not know how to remove my name from any call list.
 - the company she works for is "Life Quote"

When I asked how to write a letter to "Life Quote," she transferred me to a telephone menu that had only four choices--which kind of insurance policy I want to buy.

Just received a call from this number. Answered it on the second ring, but no one was there. I applied for an insurance quote online a few weeks ago, so I'm assuming it's another sales call.

PS: NEVER get a quote online. The calls, emails, and letters will never stop.

They call at least 10 times a day saying someone used my # to request info on line I told them I didn't do that and to stop calling they said they would stop calling and so far they have called me 3 times today

Geico Insurance ADB LifeQoutes

I've been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months now.  Typically about a call about every other day.  I finally got angry after they started calling early in the morning and called them back at the extension they left and left a nasty voicemail telling the person to stop calling my number, take me off their list and do not call anymore.  So, like an idiot, the person I left a message for calls me back two minutes later and says "I"m calling you back, I don't know why you aren't there.  I"ll try again later.".  What??? I said do not call me back, you dummy!.  So I called back again and when the guy answered, I said "I told you do not call me again.  Thank you" and hung up.  Boy, do these people not have a clue or what?  I've never asked for any insurance quotes at all so I do not know where they got my number in the first place.

I get a call from 800-487-3187 about once or twice a week. No body answers and they are calling my corporate cell phone. I never contacted Insure.com and wish the calls would stop.

Just call them back and ask to be removed and they will happily comply.

Life Insurance

I GET 2 & 3 CALLS EVERY DAY FROM THIS NO.

Received calls to both my mobile and my home phone; an automated message was left on the mobile, and a hangup on the home phone. The automated message was that I "needed to call to update policy information" by calling 800-556-9393 x310 and was from LifeQuotes.com (formerly Insure.com). When I called, I was told they saw my policy was expiring -- so it's basically a sales pitch. I asked to have both my numbers put on their Do Not Call list. I actually had been considering buying a new policy through them, but the robocalls turned me off to the point of shopping elsewhere.

Annoying repeated phone calls, day after day, week after week.  No v/m, only hangups.

I call that number and can not tell who is calling, it is very annoying.

I called 800-324-6370 and did press 1 supposedly they removed my number from their list.  I'll know for sure in the morning.

These people call me 2-3 times a day, I try tp call them back but there is no answer. All they indicate is that they are trying to save me money on my insurance. I don't know how they got my number, but I wish there was a way to stop them from calling me.

I was just visiting another website regarding this because I am having the same problem. I haven't tried it yet but apparently if you call 800-324-6370 and press option 1 and ask them to remove you from their list, some people say it has worked. Like I said, I haven't had the time to do it yet.

I am on the donotcall.org registry. I have also called this company's removal number (800-324-6370 opt 1) yet the calls continue.

As far as their reputation, Consumer Reports said "Insure.com received the lowest possible rating for disclosure, which we believe in the most important component for Web site credibility."
