800-489-5953  calls and recording says "if this is not .......hang up"  I hang up but they continue to call!!   Quite annoying!!!

i keep getting calls for somebody named s*** f*** latte. my name is not s*** f*** latte. dont know who s*** f*** latte is. i called the number and told them my name is not s*** f*** latte. i hope they stop calling.

This company keeps calling, trying to get my social and birthdate. There saying that I owe them money that I don't. IF THEY CALL YOU REPORT THEM. Don't give them any information.

"Wvette"  was supposedly the name of the B1T_ _ was on the other end... SHE was really RUDE as usuall.   DONT GIVE THEM ANY,  ANY Info about yourself... Let them tell u about u!!!
These people should ROT for the harraassment they impose!!!

On March 24, 2012 at 9:25 pm received a call from 800-489-5953.  They did not leave a message on my cell and I never pick up any 800 numbers.  Thanks for letting me know of these scammers!

Trying to collect a debt from Air Touch Cellular from 1994. LOL

They're now claiming its a debt for 'Western Auto', a company supposedly in Washington state that buys junk and wrecked cars. I almost fell for the scam then thought better of it, googled, and then changed all my banking information so they cannot get into any of it since i made the mistake of agreeing to pay the debt.

Does it really do any good to post?Ive reported this number on this site before.Nothing gets done. How do you get them to stop calling?I recently paid off everything.They continue to call for a debt I paid off over 3 years ago.So,reporting them on this site is evidently pointless.It used to come up on the ID as "Wyle Financial".Now it says "Toll free number".Hiding who they are proves fraud.

I have been getting calls for a Shelby for a few years. Never had anyone with that name in our house or family. Every time we tell them to take us off but it starts again.

Call your local Attorney Generals Office.  This number has been calling our house for weeks.  Mostly after hours.  The message says "This call is for "John Doe".  If this is not John Doe press 3."  So, I would press 3, Im not John Doe.  It goes on to say that this is an attempt to collect a debt.  So the next time the number called at 8:30pm, I didnt press 3, it tells me to call the number.  I do and of course they are not there.  I ignore the call.  They have called about 10 times after hours.  I dont have the time during the day to call.  Finally both my husband and I have a vacation day together and they call at 9am.  He answers tells the lady that he is not "John Doe" and she tells he that a real estate agent left our number.  Very, very rude lady.  So after she hang up on my husband because he is not falling for it he calls the number back to talk to a supervisor.  The same lady answers and tells him "dont you have anything better to do then to call back..."  Call your cities local Attorney Generals Office.  We did.  People give fake numbers out all the time to avoid such things.  Im also going to do a free credit report just incase.  If they can come up with a bogus phone number, who knows what else they can do.

called today saying i owe debt. I owe no debt or no one and wondered if this is some identity theft? or is this a scam?

I have received several calls from this company about an old credit card charges back in 2003.  In 2008 I made arrangement with all my accounts and made payment to clear up all accounts. There is nothing on my credit report about this outstanding charge. I have a two credit cards active and current with the company they claim I owe.
Does this make any since? I'm going to call the company and let them know what this company is doing.

So glad i checked out this phone number. they have been calling me too. i have no outstanding debt and was puzzled as to why they would call and never send a letter to back up the claim of debt. i have not returned the calls.

Do't know who they are, but I don't owe anyone any money.  They don't leave a message.

This Company Life Financial Services, using the phone number of 800-489-5953 started phoning and harassing me in August, 2011 about a bill that is over 8 years old and beyond the years of collection. They are trying to collect on a bill that was owed to Applied Bank way back in 2003. It isn't in Applied Bank's records any more. They have never sent a bill, but claim they did and they have my personal information. Buying and selling a person's personal information should be illegal.

Same here. Over 2 years many different "voices" or recording.  Have told a few they are looking for someone we never met and  say will remove our number or get nasty and say they never called before.

Constant calls..... rings 2 or 3 times, no messages.   Annoying!!
What good is the 'NO Call List'?  Is there any reporting agency that will do something??
Any suggestions other than that?

I have received at least 3 calls in the past 3 weeks from this number for my daughter who has not lived with me in over 15 years.  The automated message says to hang up if you are not the person the call is for.  I hang up but then get another call.  Finally called the number today and told the woman not to keep calling my number that I was not the person they were looking for.  She became belligerant and told me that it was my daughter they were looking for and I would keep getting the calls unless I gave them my daughter's phone number.  Basically tried to browbeat me into giving her contact information.  I told her I was reporting her to the FTC and not to call me again.  We will see.

same thing happened to me. recorded message, then press 1 to speak to someone, then they are not clear about the "debt" owed. I don't have any outstanding debts & have asked them to stop calling me but they don't. this has been going on for sometime. I'm frustrated about what to do.

I received a call from this number today, it was for another party.  The message said the name was Wise Financial Services.  I am not calling them back.

I like that response to the bottom feeder debt collector.  I get calls all the time from these people and I have noy had a credit card of any kind for years.  They sound like idiots.

I got a call from this number 11/23/11 @1:15pm.  The message on my VM sounded like a recording.  
The name sounded like Wyatt or possible Weiss financial services.  I was kind of puzzled because I am thinking "I don't owe any debt!"  At this point i have finally paid of all of my debt and have solid paid on or have solid agreements and excellent payment history on the one remaining.   So I am glad I checked into this, it looks like this is truly some kind of scam!!  It's a sad thing, always someone out there to separate some one ... from there money.   There must be some remedies that we as consumers have in a case like this and  many other financial scams out there.

Morons just called again at the crack of dawn.  I can't believe this crap.

Once a week I get a call from this number looking for Emily Hoffman. Each time I tell them we have no Emily Hoffman, know no one named Emily Hoffman, and don't give a damn about Emily Hoffman.  They say, okay, we'll take this number off the list.
And then they call again.

THEY CALL ME AT LEAST 1 OR 2 A DAY, LEAVES V-MAIL.  I NEVER ANSWER, AN THEY DONT LEAVE A NAME.  EXTREMLY  ANNOYING!

They have called an left me a message twice regarding debt that I know that I do not owe and also a name that is not mine.  For me they claim to be from Live Financial.

They have been calling my cell phone and leaving an automated voicemail for someone called Rachel Rodriguez, who I am not.  The voicemail says that if you are not Rachel Rodriguez, you have 3 seconds to hang up and if you do not hang up, we will assume that you are Rachel Rodriguez.  Pretty fishy is you ask me.  I have not returned the phone call.
