Called me numerous times looking for a certain person each time they call. This one today said to go to kerc.com with a reference number, but I didn't write it down. Then I saw this website, so wanted to post here. I hope they catch these criminals, they are infringing on my rights to pursuit of Happiness.

So here's the deal. I have a pre-paid phone from Verizon Wireless. This means that I pay Verizon to have minutes on the phone. If I don't pay them a flat $50 (plus the $0.75 911 fee) then every time I receive or make a call or receive or make a text message, I get charged for it.

THESE SONS OF BI****S have CALLED MY CELL PHONE FIVE TIMES in the past FOUR DAYS.
They are RUNNING DOWN MY MINUTES.  I am unemployed so it's not always easy for me to put more cash down for my account.

I don't know them, don't want to know them, have screamed at whomever is on the other end (and hung up before getting a response if there was a human being there) and cursed their number multiple times.

Am thinking of buying a whistle then if these idiots continue to call seeing if I can deafen someone on the other end. I'm pretty sure it's an autodialer and someone is sitting at a computer waiting to see what call happens next.

And it's not like they are set to a certain time. Calls at noon, 9 p.m., 8 p.m., 4 p.m....  DAMMIT.

This number is still active and still randomly calling and hanging up on anyone who has their answering machine on.
They are filfth and they never seem to go away. Do not answer it - it's just a scam.

You are being harassed by the Enhanced Recovery Corp. They are a mid-sized collection firm based out of Jacksonville, FL and Waycross, GA. They are well known bottom-feeders and are currently being set-up by an acquaintance of mine. They will use illegal tactics in attempts to collect invalid and out of SOL debts.
This friend of mine has an elderly father who they have made the mistake of thinking may be stupid. He has in the last couple of months received dozens of calls from ERC. He has answered none of them, but has taken screen-shots of every spoofed caller ID and recorded all of the corresponding VMs. He has also kept a very detailed log of their calls, including the time and date of each call. He's a very smart old guy. Which is really no surprise considering that he's a retired and wealthy executive of a very large corporation. The geniuses at ERC have even been dense enough to spoof the caller IDs and then identify themselves in their VMs; which goes to show the caliber of the employees these "professionals" use.
The "legal eagles" at ERC will soon be presented with paperwork that will cause them a bit of consternation, followed by indigestion when it becomes clear that a large settlement check is their best option. A bother to them, but it will be no big deal. Just the cost of doing business as usual.
If more people were as savvy as this old gent; companies like ERC could really be hurt by continuing to use the same old ploys they've used for years.
So; Be safe. Be aware.

1-800-496-0232 keeps calling my Tracfone and I can't block callers on it.  I could figure out how to make the calls not ring, but they go straight to voicemail.  I have to listen to voicemail before I delete it.  It is driving me nuts.

The voicemail is usually elevator music.  Then I may hear someone say "hello...hello?".  Sometimes they say someone's name, that is not me.

These calls have been coming for months.  Give it up!

this telemarketer is calling me on a daily basis using different numbers and I want it to STOP!

I get calls on recently set-up cable phone. Always automated, can never understand the name of the person they're supposedly trying to reach. The voice synth is garbage. I have never had any bad debt. They have not removed my number. Just more annoyances.

Just played music until I hit star, at which point I was taken to a menu of some sort. I do not appreciate these types of calls at all.

I just got a new number.  These vultures try to get money any way they can, whether you're 15 or 115..  The only numbers I answer are ones that I have in my phone.  If they don't leave a message, or if someone I don't know leaves a message and my intuition goes "BONG", I don't call back.  It's unfortunate, but at this moment in history it doesn't seem prudent to answer a number you don't know--even it it's not an 800 number.  They'll try to get you that way, too.

It's 8:30 am and I have already received 5 harassing phone calls from this  phone number   800-496-0232  I want them to stop, I know its a collection agency...

Just got a call from 800.496.0232. There was music and I held on, because I use my cell for business. Young lady came on and asked for me by name and asked to verify my address. I refused to verify my address unless she stated the purpose of the call. She identified her company as Enhanced Recovery and said that it was a collection call, but she refused to identify her client. She did not give the "this is an attempt to collect a debt" warning which is required by law. We tussled over my refusal to verify my address and her refusal to identify her client. To the best of my knowledge I have no outstanding unpaid debts.

ERC is a legitimate debt collection company.  Even If you tell them its the Wrong number, that person does't live here they continue to harass you. I have caller block on my phone, so no more harassing calls from them.  Only thing is these type of people will change their number.

I called the number back and pressed 4 to speak to a rep. i didn't do the report wrong number option, i just chose to speak to a rep. it's 9:41am est time here, somebody answered and told me i was removed from the list. no hassle & an apology. so, we'll see.

Keeps calling me on my cell phone.  I get calls daily and sometimes hourly.  Once I answered and just had elevator music.

I got a call that just played flute type music for 3 minutes then got on the phone and asked if I still lived at my address I asked what this was in regards to and they said a personal business matter.  I asked for detail and they said they couldn't give any details until they verified my address.  I responded with "I'm not going to give you my address until you tell me what this is in regards to"  "He responded with Have a nice holiday" and hung up.  Weird.

This number has called my office phone every day for the past 3 weeks.  I don't typically answer calls from 1-800 phone numbers however, since the calls will not stop, I finally decided to answer.  I have tried to answer the last 3 calls and each time I do, there is nobody on the other end.  Very annoying!

This number keps repeatedly calling throughout the day , every day. This is what Iconsider harrassment. The people they are calling for have never lived here so I called the number and made a complaint. Tey said hey would remove thid number yet I still get calls from tem. What can I do???

they keep calling me for the last 3 years for the Lee family.  Brian, Michael and Somaly.  They do not live here, I dod not know them.  Last week a package cam for them and a lady called us.  She gave us their address and said the house is up for sale.  Listed at $489,000.  they live nicely according to the pictures.  STOP F****G CALLING ME.  For revenge.............I have all these calls forwarde to (904) 645-0049 the owner of  ERC.  lol FO

Yes the number appeared 18004960232,however I do not know anyone with this number. I would appreciate if you would not call me.

My fiance received a call from this number looking for me.  They would not give him any information and only said it was a personal matter.  I was scammed once out of $260 by people who said I owed a debt that I had already paid off.  But because I didn't have proof to back it up, they took advantage of that.  The second time someone called saying I owed a debt of $706, I refused to give them any information until they could send me proof of the debt.  And of course they had none, so I refused to give them anything. They then called me with an automated message saying a warrant had been issued and an officer of the court was being dispatched for my arrest at either my home or my job.  I hadn't seen an officer yet.  Don't be fooled by these creeps; they are only out to scam you and rob you of your money. Anytime a "collection agency" calls you, you have the right to receive proof of a debt they claim you owe.  So ask them for that information before giving them a credit card number or your SS#.

free phone tray that allows me to screen track and block seleced numbers
i work afternoons and thes a holes wont stop calling returning thear calls and
demending that stop the herasment calls has not dunn any good theas pricks
still keap calling and wont stop ime preatty shure thear is a fedral mandate that
states that thare are not aloud to do that thay obvolisely
dont care maby some huge fine's will stip some of thease large call centers
from calling as often or least chaing thear pratices somewhat or shut them

So the company has called my 11 year old son's phone. I answered this time and was treated to classical music.

These people keep calling me with the number 800-893-3081, and I never take the call. I usually answer and hang up immediately. They left a message on my phone telling me to call the number 800-496-0232. I called the number to have my number removed from their system and I changed my mind because they asked me to input my number to have it removed. I decided that they might be trying to tempt me to give them permission to do something with my phone number if I said what it was.

Why are they calling? I don't have any unpaid bills that need to be collected. I'm sick of these people.

I have received anonymous robo phone calls for the last four months 8-9:00am six days a week.  Today
I was able to get a recorded message with instructions to go to a KERC website with an account number.
Online searches netted an 800-496-89l6 ERC telephone number.  I called and, as suspected, it was not my debt.  I too, am on a do not call list, but was told it does not include debt collectors and politicians.

I have endured four months of aggravation not being able to contact the company.  Not being able to get my phone record from my carrier Century Link was also a shock.  In Florida you cannot access your phone records due to some Homeland Security issue.  Who are they really protecting?  

I don't know who I am more upset with, KERC (aka ERC), Century Link or policy makers.

I have been called for over a month from several 800 numbers asking for "Jennifer" then a local number calls when the others aren't answered. This happens on weekends also and is extremely annoying. There is also a message to hangup if you are not this person which I promptly do but it doesn't stop these calls.

Never had comcast but they keep calling saying that i own money to a account from 2009.  He knew my address and everything.  If he knew that much don't you think comcast did also and could have sent me a bill?  Then he said it is not fraud because I made a payment on the account the month before.  Funny there is not record of me ever paying for comcast.  After that he stated that my parents my have put the account in my name and paid the bills.  They had comcast from 1988 til 2011 it has always be in my parents name.  So you are telling me for a few months they changed the account to my name and then did not pay on the account and switched it back.  Keep fishing maybe you can get the money from someone else but it is not going to be me.

I keep getting calls from this number. I don't know who they are and will not answer this or any 800 number when they call. Can you help me find a way to stop these calls
