Calls once a day for a female person (I'm not) to collect a debt. It's
an electronic message saying to delete the call if I'm not the person.
I can't reach these people after work, as you cannot leave a message.
I'm not sure how to tell them they have a wrong phone number. This is
a case of mistaken harassment, and they should be sued. Anyone up for
a class action suit?

I have had my current number for over 10 months. Before I had the number another party owned the number and owe several creditors. I first registered my number w/the do not call list. I alos told each creditor that called that this was a new number and I am on the do no call list and would like the solicitation to stop. Of course they refused.  I then contaced an attorney. I first sent them a cease and assist letter. Of course that did not work. In the mist of that I began to document all call from all Collections agencies. I also went to the PSC,FTC,BBB,Consumer Affairs, Attorney General Office in FL as well. this was done as a record so when we get to court there would be no..ooh we did not know. To make a long story short. I'm currently suing over 10 collections/creditors. We are in the last stages of settling and gues what I'm getting around 3-5 thousand from each creditor/collection agency. The violations: calling after 9:00, violating the fdcpa,frca and harassment. Remember I do not owe the debt never owe. I was also told that even if you owe the debt and the continue the harassment htey would end up oweing you. People do you research and take legal action that is the only way thet will stop. Now I'm laughing all the way to the bank...

Calls from 800-496-0790.  Starts with tone and "Please hold for ERC" in a computer generated voice.  Why should I hold for them?  I usually hang up.

I don't know who they are or who they are trying to reach, but if they want to speak with me they will have to put a person on the phone.  I have also been receiving annoying calls from some collection agency for a woman who isn't me and we have had this number in service for 7 years - they claim this is an old number for her.  I have told them on many occasions to remove this number from their list.  So far it hasn't helped.  Is there a way to charge them for wasting our time dealing with them when they are calling the  wrong number?????

continuous calls throughout the day, looking for someone that doesn't live here.  I ask to have the number removed....same thing...will be removed in 48 hours.  Rude people.  David Welch is the manager and said he would delete my number.  Just lied

Mrs. Hogan calls once a day. But usually just before that I receive a hang up, from the same number.

called twice a day, for the last 3 days. i happen to be at work, so i can not get to the phone. when i called them back, the office is closed. it seems to be some kinds of a dept collction office. they left a message for someone that i have no contact with.
- annoying people
