This company is not affiliated with us. I have been trying to reach them all day because they successfully scammed a woman earlier. This woman came to my kiosk to ask about her call with them because she felt that it was very sketchy. I did some research and talked to Verizon FiOS and this company is a scam. DO NOT give them any of your information. Report them if you can.

I received a call form Leeata and two days later from Devon Redix (both ladies) I do want the bundle but at this time it is not offered where I live so I did not get it.  Why would Verizon out source to a company like this?

Our office manager had a call from Renee of "Verizon" and she was very nasty about the outstanding bill.  Office manager asked for number to return call as she doesn't handle bills.  Did not tell Renee that we hadn't had Verizon in months and that our last statement contained a refund check.  I have tried to call Renee from the 800-497-1193 number and after a long pause the line rings a very fast busy signal.

Do not change your phone service if you get a call from these people.  They will offer to "bundle" your services and may mention something about your current rate plan thats about to expire.  These people misrepresent themselves, straight across the board. These guys will slam you for internet services and before you know it, you'll be getting a bill for $250.00 like I did,for broadband services that you never ordered.

I've been on the phone for 1 hour now, trying to get this mess straightened out, so beware when you get a call from someone that says that they are with Verizon.

Same thing...and a person named Yvonne, again whose english and manners were ridiculously rude. And she lied about being from Verizon. Said specifically she was from Verizon, but I could tell by her manner, her bad english, and her high pressure that they would never hire a person who talked like that.
Only when I pressed her and continually asked her a number of times did she say she was an authorized agency or some such nonsense. Then she said that I was in the mood for arguing and she wasn't, so she hung up. I called the number and they have an answering machine that you can barely decipher the name of the company -calsource - and they won't take your call, only leave a message for the rep who called you.
Shame on Verizon for even having dealings with this kind of scam. She asked for personal information - this is a non-profit agency -and was very insistent I was doing a foolish thing by not agreeing to her slaes pitch. Truly hard to believe how some companies can be so dishonest.

I have received several calls in the past few days from "Yvonne" who can barely speak proper English.  It seem that our "bid-ness" phone lines are being grandfathered out and I need to call right away.  Last Friday she called and told me that when she calls back I need to answer her call this time instead of letting voicemail get it.  How rude!
A couple of weeks ago a fellow called and everything sounded correct so I proceeded with the update to our plan (three elevator lines) but when the person came on to verify the new contract he asked for personal information.  I refused to give it since the account is business and not tied in any way to me personally.  They got nasty and hung up.
If this IS sanctioned by Verizon then Verizon needs to find a more reputable contractor as this one is a total joke and should be avoided.  If Verizon wants me as a customer to do anything to my account then Verizon needs to contact me and not some fly-by-night inner-city Ebonics-speaking woman with an attitude!

I was contacted by Dana Ross.  She said she was from Verizon and the program we now had was being grandfathered out and she would explain the new bundle I would be getting including free DSL.  She said it was a 24 month program.  I told her we planned to change carriers when our contract was up 7/12.  She just ignored me and continued talking.  I told her we did not want DSL we were happy with our current internet provider.  She said it comes with the bundle and I can't refuse it, we would not have to use it if we didn't want to.  During the course of the conversation I keep repeating we would not agree to anything for 24 months.  She finally said we can change it at any time and I just had to agree to it today to get the special price.  I asked her several times if the conversation was being recorded because I wanted to make sure it was understood we had no intention of staying with Verizon for another 24 months.  She said I just had to verify the basic information and then she would transfer me to a verification person for final verification.  When she was reading me her script several times I said I did not agree to that and she would say "now I have to stop the recording and start all over" .  Finally when she thought she had enough from me she transferred me to a verification person.  When that person tried to verify the information I would not agree because she said it was for 24 months.  She then said "well, I can't verify this, you can only answer yes or no.  I said fine then it's not verified and hung up.  A few days later I got an email from Verizon stating they were sending my DSL package out and would call to make an appointment to install.  I immediately called Verizon and told them I did not want any changes, DSL or anything else.  They assured me they would stop the order.  I called Verizon two days later to make sure it was cancelled and they verified there were no change orders pending.  I call the 800 497 1193 number 3 times and left messages for Dana to call me back.  Finallly after the 3 calls Dana called me back and said they listened to my recording and I agreed to all the changes.  I said you only recorded parts of the conversation because I disagreed several times.  I also told her the change was not verified when she passed me to the verification person.  She said that did not matter.  I told her I had Verzon stop the order and they should never contact me again.  I was so angry I also called her a lier several times.  She said if she lied she would lose her job.  I replied I hope she does.
I plan to report the company to the Better Business Bureau.  They have helped us in the past with very good results.

They called me yesterday- Christopher Smith was his name. said he was calling from Frontier and they had a new plan to bundle and lower my bill. would include unlimited long distance, 5 calling features and DSL. I pressed him about who he worked for- he said TeleConcepts.  He said the cost would be 61.99 When I asked about taxes and fees, he said that they had no control over what fees the government would charge. I asked who the bill would come from he said Frontier-
I had been scammed by something similar years ago so I was skeptical. I did not sign up- i told the guy that I would check them out and if I was interested I would call him back-
I will NOT be calling him back and I am going to block his number- I am glad this site was here.

just called me and came through caller id as unknown.  That was my 1st tip off to problems.  Next, she was very anxious to get a deal done ASAP.  I asked for a number and name to call back after I checked my account info and 10 minutes later they called back and the person claimed to be the same person i spoke with 10 minutes ago but totally different voice.  Bad business!!

I just got a phone call from 800-497-1193, and pretty much had the same experience as what everyone else has been describing on this thread. The woman who called me, a "Mrs. Stephens," was pretty rude and very pushy. She wanted me to sign up for a bundle account that would give us unlimited phone and free internet for a huge discount to what we are paying now. I told her I had to check with my manager, so she gave me the 800 number to call back and leave her name.
When I called the number back, I got the same message everyone is saying, Tel-Source, or whatever.
I'm glad I didn't give her any of my account information, but what a waste of my time.

You can file a complaint with your State. Google your state's regulator analysis division. For Florida it's called RAD. I was contacted by a Sharetta at (800) 497-1193 who said she was from Verizon. She is not from Verizon and is misrepresenting them. She told me my agreement was up and she had a special offer. My agreement was not up as I had just renewed it 8/10/10 and was good for 12 months. If you want to see if your phone company has better rates, just call them directly. Do not EVER agree to anyone who calls you on the phone. All offers must be in writting before any agreement should be made.

I received a call on Monday from Rachel Gilmore who said it was Verizon calling and they were up-dating their accounts with a new way of billing.  They were bundling now which would save us money.  She started talking about internet and I told her we had internet thru Comcast and didn't need it.  She continued to say that we didn't have to use it if we still wanted to keep Comcast, but it would save us money.  I questioned her several times about the billing, etc. and she kept insisting that it was Verizon and they were updating the system.  She caught me offguard at a very hetic time in the office and I was only half listening and even though it just didn't feel right, I was taken by the scam.  After thinking about it later that day and night, I knew something wasn't kosher.  I kept trying to call the number she left and all I could get was a recording saying I had reached Tel Source who was an authorized sales representative of Verizon and to leave a message for the account representative I wished to speak with and a name and number for them to return the call.   Needless to say, I never heard from them.   I also called Verizon and they weren't of much help only to check to see if any orders had been place to change service and to tell me that if I received any equipment in the mail to refuse it and send it back and then to call them immediately to make sure any order they received was cancelled.

Something needs to be done to stop this blatant deception to people.  They are fraudently misleading people and some of us have a moment of stupidity and fall for it.  If anyone else has had these problems, please let me know.  If you have filed any complaints, please let me know with whom you filed them.

if you get get a call from Tel source 1-800-497-1193 do not believe them. I have spoke with Verizon this am and Verizon did not authorize them to call. You might want to think about putting a 3rd party block on your line so if you by chance go along with them that they will not get access to your account. I have received a few calls in 2 days from this company and many of others.
