Just got the yellow card in Victoria BC today. UNCLAIMED REWARD $100.00 in Gas rebates valid at Esso, Shell, Petro-Canada.
I purchase all my fuel from the local Co-OP so not really interested but It would have been nice to win the free flight !

They also changed the Toll - Free number to 1-855-291-4167.

I am getting old and have been talked into paying for something that I did not use (expensive Florida cruise) a few years ago..
Can not take a chance with my retirement funds that my wife and me have saved during the past 50 years of working.
Had to rip it up.  

If that s the case please provide proof show as news article a police blog a warning from finicial institutions, you claim to be the truth but have nothing to back it up with where I do provide links that this is legit. I'm a small business owner and it pisses me off that people like you try and pass your personal thought and fears off as fact.....show me some proof that this is scam cause the proof that this legit is all over the web. I have yet to find some one with actual proof that this is a scam.

The banks have security protocals in place to make sure people don't get ripped off. AGAIN don't take my word for it use sites like the BBB or the RCMP and find out for yourself.

There's NO contest, you don't win something! It's obviously a sales call and there's a HUGE difference between someone trying to sell you something and scam you.

Why would you get something for free? They're obviously doing a promotion... They can offer you the 100 dollars to say thanks for signing up, but how would they be able to write off you 100 dollars as a business expense if you don't sign up?

Did you call the better business Bureau or RCMP registry!? Company has no complaints against. Working for them for years! You wouldn't believe how secure and tight our procedures are because we are dealing with financial info! Also as a legit company we need to protect ourselves! Just today a new agent got fired because she was shying away from being clear and we did not want her to continue to try and mislead!! Thank you! Proper research! The card says a reward! Which is something that as offered in return for doing something!! You didn't read the card properly! It's marketing! Offer a reward to thank you for choosing our company over competitor. Real research not just people assuming! Worked for them for years! Still do..have my mags and took the trip as well! Take care

I work for this company! And absolutely 100% legit! I'm not saying this to convince anyone, I'm saying it because I have first hand knowledge of the procedures and how secure we are! Yes...of course lots of scams! they make it hard for companies, website companies like ours to do business but we work harder! People have been taken so I understand their fear! There are avenues to monitor the business companies are conducting! It's like Columbia house! It's marketing...offer a reward as a thank you for choosing us over a competitor. Do your research. I received a yellow post card also with this number for the info we had a raffle draw at my gas station so I thought maybe this was legit but thanks to google i didnt waste my time talking to scammers

Such a scam was sucked in but read up and stopped any transactions, be careful!!  

I just got a call similar to yours and when I was asked about my credit card number i became suspicious. The phone number where the call was made is 450-629-5409 and the toll free number that the rep gave me is 1-800-804-5445.
It seems that people need money !!!!!!! Doesn?t matter how they get it !!!!!

Had the same answer. I told him I would check with my credit card company first. He got all flustered and thanked me for my time. I will be ripping up the yellow card!!!

Thanks to these posts, I will rip up the yellow card.  My husband wanted me to call and I told him it's probably a scam.  So glad I searched it online!
