Called  at least twice every day.  Never leave the message.  I googled  Altman group.  They don't have 800 number.

I am receiving this call in the pass 2 weeks from now. I told them that take me off the list or i will press
charges against them.

Called 2 consecutive days.  I didn't answer and caller never left a message.  ID says "unknown name". Obviously a scam telemarketer...and I'm on the "Do Not Call" list.

I get these calls as well. I just put the number in my call list, labelled it SCAM!!!, and shut off the ringer. I ignore the calls. I don't care anymore.

the name on my caller I.D. says- Cage  Kalkwarf C.  never heard of this person. Leaves no message. I'm also on the DO NOT CALL list.  It does absolutely NO good

Calls several times daily for weeks.  Leaves no msg.  How can I set up a call block?

These evil people have called us 3 days in a row. This time I answered and they hung up/disconnected. We are on the Do Not Call list too!!!!

These jerks have called twice today, and once each of the last 3 days.  Never hear anything on the other end when I answer.......just a click.  We are registered on Do Not Call.  Seems to do no good.

This is the 2nd day in a row that they have called.  I don't answer toll free calls because they always turn out to be unwanted solicitations.........  and if they are not, they can leave a message for me to call them back.  This caller did not leave messages, and based on the other comments on this post, I am sure I will be hearing from them many more times.  

I am on the Do Not Call list also - but it doesn't do any good for fraudulent calls or non-profits and  charities.  I also can't figure out how to "turn someone in" when you get these calls.  Supposedly, you are supposed to be able to get money - but it is not apparent how you can get that done.  Very frustrating - I get way too many of these types of calls every day...........  eventually, I guess I will just have to drop my land line and just use my cell..........  they don't seem to bother you on that (except text messages).

Yeah they call often and daily now.  Same thing no answer when picked up.  Machine dialing.

You guys are all idiots.  The Altman Group is not a scam AT ALL. We are a 3rd party agent hired by the companies YOU invest in.. there is no sales pitch, no over the phone transaction.. its regarding a proxy vote. If people would quit being jerks to us and hanging up without even listening to the words we're saying, we'd get our work done alot quicker.  Instead people flip out for no reason cuz they think its a scam.. get your brain on.

When they call I let the phone ring 2 times and then pick it up. When it quits ringing I hang up. I do not answer calls from an 800 service or calls with no caller ID.

When receiving this number or any other telemarketing number, pick up the phone, push the talk button and lay the phone down--do not say anything.  Leave it there until they hang up.  After a time they will stop calling.

If you're on the federal Do Not Call List, you may have to file a complaint.  Then it's hit and miss.

i dont want to call this number because i dont want to add my cell phone number to a third party thats going to sell my number to other venders . i want this number blocked so that i dont get these calls anymore. these are nothing but solisiters, like when i had my land line. i had so many of them and they would always call around dinner time . there was no peace. theyre nothing but pests. i want this to stop.

We are receiving calls from them in the Middle Tennessee area.  I am not answering.

Continue to receive many calls from this number.   We don't answer and  and wait for caller to leave a message, which never happens.

Answered the phone, they said "can you blow me were the pampers is?" I said what?!? she said "Sorry, but could you show me were the campus is" weird??

This number is the "altman group".  I have a mutual fund that is up for a vote, and they are calling (constantly) to remind of the "proxy vote".  This is the same phone number that came with the proxy material I received in the mail.  They never leave a message and call SEVERAL times a day.  Annoying!!!

I called the number back and a recording said Altman Group but I held on for a rep and its Wells Fargo/Evergreen Fund a stock company and they do have a do not call list.

Yes, us, too.....just got another call from that number.  It's gotten to the point that I don't answer the phone for any unrecognizable numbers  anymore.  I agree - thank heavens for Caller ID!

Continue to receive repeated and interruptive calls from this 800-499-8519 number (The Altman Group). I am on the Do Not Call Registry, so it appears (surprise, surprise) unwanted callers have figured out how to get around that. Thank goodness for Caller ID!
