A man called our company, English speaking, said he was from Tucker Ind. the number showing was
875-500-000. He asked for the owner, by name I asked what this was pertaining to?  He said he just called him and was returning his call.  I told him he was not here, he called me a "LIAR"!  I told him he was not going to sell anything calling people names, he became furious and told me that he was the owner of the company!  I asked at that time to speak to a manager, he told me he owns the Co. Tried to make me feel like I would be getting in trouble for not putting him through!!  He said his name was Adam Tucker!
What a Jerk!!

These 500-0000 can be used by scam artists. My elderly neighbor was called under this number yesterday by a company that claimed to be USA medicare. Her husband is disabled and they told her she was eligible for a electric wheel chair for free through Medicare. I called the fraud hotline and found out from the officer of general inspector that this is a scam and could cost them up to $27,000 for an electric chair if it was to be delivered to her door. Sure enough her doctor got a fax saying that she wanted to order a back brace for her husband not even a wheel chair. So just be careful if you are called by someone under this 500-5000 number.

who is paying for this site??? this is scary to me -- that people from other countries have my phone number -- all of the bombings etc happening -- as americans -- I feel that we are targets -- we have enough problems with drought and other problems -- I am sick of foreign interests

Awww, thats nothing!  I made $4.8 billion in my first hour!  This organization is fair and honest.  Look, I'm out of work, had no prospects, was sittin around watchin Opra and Judge Judy all day.  Then, by a stroke of pure luck, my phone rang.  I was presented with a business proposal that was so amazing  there was no possibility (none whatsoever), that I could even entertain any other option than acceptance!, and its a good thing too.  

The formalities were very easy:

1.  I had to submit my driver license, social security, credit card numbers, date of birth, email address (with passwords), cell phone number and bank routing numbers.  Took 20 minutes to find all this info.

Simple as that so far huh?

2.  I faxed all this information to my new friend and business associate Muhammad.  He and I had been talking for well over 45 minutes so I KNEW I could trust him implicitly!  

3.  It was requested that I wire a mere $2,500 to a routing number in a Pakistani bank to show my end of the business deal was in good faith so I did it unquestionably since any real business person would expect no less.  

4.  I authorized a power of attorney to the new company I formed with Muhammad so he could control any assets thus leaving me worry free about handling the day-to-day financial details.

And, that was that!  Muhammad ASSURED me that I would be bringing in more cash than I could ever possibly imagine!

I know what you're thinking, how could I have been so stupid to fall for such a scam?  I was worried too but when the first billion rolled in the next morning, I KNEW Muhammad had come through!

Why would you ever want a free service?? Nothing is Free right?
-Keep on spending a dollar and all your airtime on your phones either for your 411 enquiry calls, or keep on getting frustrated on the robotic voice over the free directories...there are plenty of them there. you go to find one.....you'll find plenty......plurge all you pennies there....yes, all of them.......

You really do not need a free service and helpful people to direct you to the right place, to get the right thing u r looking for, coz you are not worth it......

You might as well carry the 5 kilos of the yellow book and the other colored books on a Olympic run.....and if you get frustrated again....try pounding your head with it...that's what u guys are used to....

Get stuck with a leaking toilet or get stranded with a broken down car, or flat tire....but please do not call Just Dial- 1800 500 0000.....you are not worth the free service and the free call connects....coz you are still adamant on spending your dollar on 411 or thru your cell phone....Leave aside the time you will be spending.....

You all would rather the abide by the FACT, that in the history of directory assistance in the US of A - you guys have never ever even come close to coming up with such a Fantabulous idea, and are still ready to spend your $$$$ just to ask where is the nearest gas station or I where can i find a tire repair guy, or a plumber. You know what, spend all the money u guys have only got in searching for what you need....but never use  1 800 500 0000 ..........you r not worth it

Go on....Call your other directories and speak to the machines there.....by the end of it u r one !  And yes try punching those numbers to get what you want....or talk to the IVR's.....9 out of 10 - who will never get what you want...and then you can punch urself.

You all dont need Humans to talk and assist you, but Transformers.....no wonders everyone acts like a Robot here (or is one ).

1 800 500 0000 is the only, absolute free directory and the only Human assisted directory in the whole nation.
All in all....all you people should appreciate the fact that a company from a developing country is providing such a fantastic service and bridging the gap, saving ur pennies...and not to mention the time too.....Who cares right???

18005000000 is an easy to remember number in US for searching business in your area - I use it coz it saves my time gives me updated info and it is quick.. Would not mind paying a dollar for finding info with them - however, they operate it with human operators for free. Personal search engine and concierge for movie ticket booking - I even heard that people are upfrontly calling to check if there business is at least listed in there data base. That makes me happy - as i can get connected to my near by grocery store or attorney. Thanks 18005000000 :)

All those who are saying that this is a SCAM are fools. We all know that we are so scared of scams that we feel each and every call that we get is for taking our money. But i spoke to the guy who called me from 18005000000 and asked me to call the number. i called and asked for Plumbers and he got me connected to the business within a minute. So all you fools before you call it a SCAM. Use it first. Its free its better then GOOG411 and any other service is USA.

They run a free 411 service out of India.  I saw a commercial on TV last night and tried it.  They give out information numbers (411) for free.  He told me they represent free 411 and give phone numbers out as a free direcdtory assisted calls.  Even transferred me to the number I requested.

Seemed harmless to me.

A business directory assistance service, I got a call from them too..yeah they are persistant, but once I heard their concept about their top listing, yeah it sounds too good to be true, but I took a leap of faith, signed up as their top lister, for my business with a 20 mile raduis, and I started getting those free call connects frm the very next day and just as they promised, I covered up the investment I made in the first two weeks and its just profit and more profit coming my way, and my wife n kids use the service almost everytime they need something, these guys are superfast and amazing, I mean they make life easy and keep things simple, just like their ads on CNN.

Yes! you sign up today.  You will get good service!  It not a scam and no take money.  We honest integriated peoples.  You identity and investments well be 100% safe and never would think about scamming anyone evers!

That's the phone number for Just Dial, Inc.  They are a directory service that wants to verify your information and then sell you a listing on their service.  They will not respect your time.  Just say no!!!  Here is their website www.justdial.com

Says that all he is doing is verifying your information since they send you so many referrals anyway. (what?) After verifying my telephone and address and trying to figure out his call, I just got frustrated and hung up....

I saw the ad on TV where free 411 calls can be made 800 500 0000.
This is a telemarketing company. They are trying to get your number.
Perhaps circumvent the Do Not Call list     Be ware
Do your research as I did before making call.

I got a call from 1800-500-0000 i signed up because i liked the concept and i researched about them,and i also like their TV ads...within 2 days of sign up....i already got 1 inquiry....they dont seem that bad...anyway hope i get more business

That is the number that the recorded message stated, however, the Caller ID identified the caller number as 347-725-0976 from NYC, NY. From the background noise on the message, it is a boiler room operation soliciting internet ads.....

I had a message left with those numbers. from the background noise on the message he left,  It was a multimarketing service selling internet ads. The actual number that he called from was (347) 725-0976 from  NYC, NY Since I am on the "no call" list, I will report it if called again.
