800-504-2401 called June 25, 2014 at 2:40pm.  Caller ID = TOLL FREE CALLER (means SPAM). Thank you 800notes, we see this spammer is an information gatherer on other people, called Capital Management. This is a nuisance call.

Received a call while I was out.  Phone indicated a message, but there was nothing.  Glad to know this is a debt collection agency.  I have a brother who defaulted years ago on credit cards (I am sure the statute of limitations has expired on these).  I don't live in the same city, yet because of my unusual last name, I get calls from these low lifes trying to get my brother.  Sigh.  It is tiresome.  

I received a call today from this number, I Did Not answer because no name was displayed on my caller ID.... I never answer calls from unknown unidentified phone numbers. They did not leave a message so therefore I refuse to return the call....... seriously irritating when they do not leave a message.... disgustingly irritating....... what is their point in calling someone but not leaving a message so someone will call them back???

I've heard that if a minor is receiving harrasing calls you can report them to the FTC and also sue them if they don't stop calling.

Big time scammers.  Calling and asking for someone that doesn't live in my house, and we do not know.  Insisting we owe something and the only way we can prove it isn't who they are looking for is to give them birthdate and ss# to verify it is not what they have on file and take us off the calling list.  YEAH RIGHT!!!!  BE VERY CAREFUL NEVER EVER GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE FOR ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

Do NOT ever answer this call.  They are scammers who are trying to collect your information.  Just ignore them.

Received a call from 1 800 504 2490 and asked me to call them back for a case # "something". The person i have to contact is Robert. I realiaze this call is from Capital management Services. I owe nobody anything. Thanks to everyone here who raised their voice and i now know that they are calling us for fun. Just ignore them. If persists, take action.

Be careful with any of these characters.  A favorite trick of these kinds are to say they sent you a card, use a phony address,   and then charge an annual fee and set up charge on the card,  up front.   Then they bill you.
This happend to me,  and I get a call from a slimmy company called Portfolio Recovery Associates trying to get me to pick up a 410.00 tab on a claimed Card dating back to 1998.  Demanded Validation,  those porkers sent me a single page that was nothing but a bill from them.  I disputed their claim as well as the debt.  Never heard from them again.  Nothing put on credit reports,  and no 1099s sent to irs.   Ba*tards!.

Received a credit card bill from MATRIX for an account I didn't request and didn't receive a card.  A $300 limit with a $75 annual fee AND 29.99% interest?  ROFLMAO!  I don't THINK so.

Sent a letter to Continental Finance on March 4th, 2013 to CANCEL THIS ACCOUNT!  Got a phone call today.

They left a voice message saying the message was for a specific person (not me) and by continuing to listen I (or presumably my voice messaging system) was acknowledging that I was that person.  The message said it was a debt collector, but cut off before I got any contact info or case number to reference.

I get lots of these for all sorts of first names + my last name (which is fairly common), none of whom are me.  They usually come in waves for a few months, stop for a few months, and then start over with a new random name.   I have a credit tracking subscription, which I regularly check, and nothing shows up so I'm pretty confident my identity hasn't been highjacked.  I've come to the conclusion these guys are like mushrooms and they will cast a wide net, calling everyone in the phone book with the same last name in their attempt to collect.  It's impossible to get them all to stop ... I used to try to call them back and convince them they had the wrong person, but I think that's a fruitless endeavor.   I just don't answer the phone anymore.  I guess I just need to cancel my landline ...

These f****rs keep calling my phone asking for someone I don't know.  They even called on Labor Day, a national holiday.

Someone name Anne Rice said they were calling regard Juliann Brendan and for me to call her back, neither of these names are familiar to me or anyone I know so I will not be calling back.

I received  a call at 9 o'clock at night when i asked what kind of company they were i wasn't given answer and was told that if i gave some a stranger my ssn number and address he could tell me everything i wanted to know i then told the guy to pound sand and hung up so now that i am online and see that it is for a dept collector the call might of been for my dead beat parents who i haven't talked to in years thanks get a job and pay your bills

I recieved a call from a Ken Chambers of Capital Management Services on 07/18/2011.
I knew the person he sought years ago, but no longer maintain contact.
Number given me was 1-800-504-2401, ext. 5196.
I guess he last contacted the person he sought in 2009. When asked if he was a debt collector,
he said he wasn't. I don't mind passing on a message to a mutual contact that could pass on the info,
but because he was somewhat vague I did a reverse look up and saw all the ear markings this company as a debt collection agency. I resent being lied to--
The message was passed.
But I will not engage in any further conversations because of the lying..

They were looking for my brother-in-law and they were VERY pushy. kept asking for his number, wanted me to verify employment, wanted me to have him call them, wanted me to give him my husband's number... "It's that important." Extremely pushy. They must've gotten my number from the white pages, our last name is rare.

Got a call from a very RUDE employee from Capital Management. He would not accept the fact that I could not help him. Said he had a prize if I did!!!
I am registered on the "DO NOT CALL LIST.'
I am sure that are licensed by our state to operate here.  One more call and I will file a complaint.
In the meantime will register my complaint with my state's Better Business Bureau.

Person named John Andrews call my FATHER, told him he was given his phone number by me a few years ago while I was looking for a job. This is a complete lie as I have not lived at home for 25 years. My dad was hoodwinked into thinking that this was a legit business opportunity for me and gave him both my number and my wifes number! This lead to repeated phone calls from this business at all hours of the day and is getting rediculous.

Got a demanding voice mail from a Robert to call back immediately today.  The number left on the voice mail was 1-800-504-2401 ext 5715. Voice was rude and demanding.
