They are also calling me and harrassing me at my work.  Does anyone know how to request that they remove your work number from their numbers?  Its embarrasing to continually get calls at my work place when I am supposed to be the leader in my area.  Please help.....anyone!

They also use 713 395 5120 - Some lady that doesn't speak English well enought to understand her.

800-504-6117 is Goldman, Imani & Goldberg Inc.. They lie about things like we told them to call back 6 months ago to collect on uncollected accounts for our company.
We would never and have never done that, so people that have to lie and scam you in order to do business is already showing that they are not to be trusted.  ****WARNING****  SCAMMERS

I just recieved the same message from Jim Wolf stating that he is calling in regard to money owed to my company and to call him back at extention 3636. No details of what money. I am not calling him back!

This company call and states they want a call back for monies owing ot our company.  They are out of the U.S.A.  and they call here in Canada.  We have no dealings with anyone in the states so this is a ploy for us to call them back.  My understanding it it is a collection agency.  

If indeed there is monies owing then just send a cheque.  Don't phone us just send us the money honey!!!!!  Show the documentation and don't hide behind false pretenses.

got the same call claiming he was an investigator and had the information about the money that was owed to ME...    I don't have any money owed to me, though.

This guy's name was Jim something....  at ext 3636   He said his name and company name so fast I couldn't understand it at all...

obviously a scam or collection agency looking for someone with my same last name or something....

The fax number is: 713-395-5127 for those who need it.  Another recommendation is to be sure to review your credit report (for FREE) every year to stay on top of fraudulent collection activity.

Recieved call from Ricky Deso Said inportant information wants to know if i have an attorney cause i'm going to jail. Since i don't owe anyone any money but the amount left on my house and i am quite current with them. He would tell me who he was collecting for said to expect the police to show up and arrest me. I told him go right ahead infact i'll call them my self oh and by the way did i forget to mention this line is recorded see you in court. then i hung up.

We got that call too. The guy's name is Clarence Williams ext. 1212. He wouldn't say why he called and hung up on me.

Got a call from the same number at work - Collection Agency. This person was very rude and would not tell me why I needed to pay him $800 dollars plus he said I would go to jail if I did not pay. My strss levels went through the roof. So I paid some money and how about the company he said he was with was not even the company that cashed the check. Later a ignorant black lady named Ray called me - and threatened me again!!!!! This company is black owned and operates like one. No business sense - and rude. Call the police if you get a call from them -

btw i found a good way to deal with ricky deso. when he calls, put him on speakerphone and use a voice recorder to record him. of course by law you have to tell him he's being recorded. But i did that today, i just answered, 'hello, you're being recorded.' and he actually acted PROFESSIONAL. no threats, no pitting me and my husband against each other, just a proffessional conversation. then he hung up. without his usual fear tactics and threats and generally being an a**hole, he didn't know what to say.

i also got a call from ricky deso, although it showed up no number. he is trying to collect from the money i owe to kirby vaccuums. he is a total a**hole. threatened my husband, told him i took out the loan without him knowing, tried telling me the same thing about him.

My mother received a call at 6:45 am from Karen Turner 1-800-504-6117 ext 32.  The caller ID was 1-713-395-5120 - they were looking for me.  I called them back and both Karen and her supervisor were extremely rude.  They wouldn't tell me why they were calling and they didn't like my additude!  Found out they are a collection agency out of Houston, Texas.  According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, it is illegal for a third party dept collection agency to call that early in the morning. I will be reporting them to our state's Attorney General.

Advisement to those of you that have recieved a call from a collection agency.  To avoid any further contaqct from them, ask for their fax number or get it off of their website and send them a letter ordering them to ceast and desist any further telephone and electronic contact. If you have MS Office 2007, there is a letter already written in the collection letters tab of the New letters. If they contact you after that and you can document it by caller id or recording, you have an automatic $10,000.00 law suit.

I am an ex collector and owned my own agency. Good Luck everyone. I know who owns this agency, couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

called, was rude on message, didn't say what he wanted and I refuse to call him back.  I will take the advice of the person that said to fax no phone calls to them and I will be doing that, if I owe you money, send me a letter to my address, I am sure they have it if this is a legitimate debt.....don't call and threaten me....

We have been receiving phone calls from this phone number, a man named Calrence Williams.  He called our company back several times saying he was a different person...what he doesnt know is that we have caller id.  This is a corporate office that he is calling and harrassing.  This needs to STOP!  One person in our office attempted to call back to see why he was harrassing our receptionist.  Well, he said that it was a mistake, ummm, calling about ten times in one day, that is hardly a mistake.  This will continue to be reported and if it gets out of hand further action will be taken.  I think that this person may want to think about the consequences of harrassing someone.

I got a message from Mr. Haney who said he's with GOLDMAN IMANI & GOLDBERG INC. and it is regarding a debt collection.  Since I owe no one any money and have never received a notice to in the  mail to the affect, I will be calling them back while annoucing that the conversation is being recorded so that I can give them the number of my attorney.  They can deal directly with him on any "collection" they think I owe.  DO NOT let them bully you into paying a dime without ample documentation.  
The Houston BBB gives them a 'C' rating becuse they hve no information on the company.  Someone had a court case againt them in Dec 2009: Green v. Goldman, Imani & Goldberg, Inc.
