just checked the mail. card is white, with orange and blue. i knew it was bs, called the number and i asked where they got my info from. she asked for my CC #. I asked what happens after that. she said nothing. there are no strings attached. she asked me agin for my CC#. I asked her if i could see a picture of the necklace, she said no. asked me for my CC#. i told her i'd call her back tomorrow. she said she'd like my CC# to expedite the process. SCAM!!!
i read at another page that a woman is being continually charged on a monthly basis and is getting items shipped to her that she never requested. when she ships them back they say they never received it. don't give these people 7 dollars. nothing is for free. bottom line.

I called this lady just to mess with their heads because I like doing that to stupid people that try to scam. Well she sounded like a broken record I told her I didn't order anything from her and I never have. She said well then congrats for being selected to receive this free pearl. Told me how great it was I said, but if its free why should I pay the handling fee isn't that your deal. She said whats wrong is it to much for you to ppay. I told her it might be to much. She said she understands and that this offer may not last long so if I have the ability to come up with the money I can try back. What a turd. I ended up hanging up on her I got tired of listening to her voice. People like this are lame I don't know how they got my address I am an unlisted private number and address. Allwell I am going to report it to local newspaper so people don't fall for this locally hopefully.
It got to Indiana thats were I am located!

PO Box 413019 Naples, FL 413019
Received same fraudulently misleading card.
This is a scam to get you to buy what you did not order.
J 2009-03-19 23:11:59 Unknown
I too received this scam, this is what is on the card:
Phone Number to call: (800) 773-8489
Green Card. "Parcel Tracking Notice". Parcel, jewelry, Original price $50, $6.95 shipping fee. Locater Number 1015027-A (parcel). Tracking Number 976448. Introductory Promotion Offer Form 502PC (rev. February 2003). Article for release 5582PC.
The address contains ***AUTO**MIXED** on the heading, which means it is being sent to a lot of people, and is suspicious. It also looks like it is handwritten at first glance, but is in fact photocopied.
If anyone wishes to complain, is mailed from Daytona Beach FL (zip 32114) with permit # 647. I am going to the post office and complain about mail fraud.
PJ 2009-03-19 01:51:18 Unknown
Got the same card in the mail. Call 1-800-520-6139 to claim a parcel with $50 in jewelry. "To claim this parcel, you must telephone the number below immediately and arrange for delivery. The item is prepaid, but a processing and delivery fee of $6.95 must be remitted. This fee can be paid only by telephone and only with a credit card."
What a joke. Why would I pay anything for an allegedy free item? On top of that, jewelry worth 50 bucks? Hardly worth my time. Dont't waste your time with these clowns. Even calling in to the number without giving them CC info verifies that you live where they think you live. The spam will never stop. Report it to gov't agencies if you must, but above all, don't fall for these scams!!

roxy 2009-03-13 16:20:59 Unknown
I also received a green postcard today and the number I have is 1-800-506-4010. I live in Michigan. I would never give my credit card to something like this, just by looking at it, looks like a major scam!
Deni 2009-03-11 20:09:07 Unknown
Got the card yesterday only the phone number has been changed to 1-800-820-6160. Since getting ripped off on one scam for a vitamin supplement I always check now for complaints against offers and advertisements especially when they ask for your credit card information. Thanks guys, this site REALLY helps make informed decisions as to how trustwothy offers actually are. Can't be too cautious now-a-days!
Iowa 2009-03-08 23:56:18 Unknown
I also got the same card and I live in Iowa. I am taking it to the Post Office as this is mail fraud.
Dean 2009-03-05 18:44:46 Unknown
You want to know how far? All across the nation. I got one, and I'm in Alaska!
Florida Reporter 2009-03-03 22:09:04 Unknown
I'm trying to figure out how far these cards went. What state do you live in? I thought this was a local problem (southwest Florida) but I'm guessing not.
V 2009-03-03 20:11:15 Unknown
did not receive a call, but that green card with the phone # ending with 6160.
really glad that I too checked the internet.
Thanks,

I got the same notice in the mail from CCD in Naples, FL; obviously a SCAM! A good case for Judge Judy!!! Scammers, what will they think of next?
Concerned Citizen 2009-02-28 23:37:54 Unknown
Do not call.
Concerned Citizen 2009-02-28 23:34:29 Unknown
Received the green card with a different phone number, 1-800-506-8050, but same address. I've been told if you "return to sender", the sender has to pay for it's postage again.
This sounds like a scam to me.

ALSO RECEIVED GREEN POSTAL CARD FOR PARCEL CONTAINING JEWELRY. HAD TRACKING NUMBER AND PAYMENT OF $6.95 TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. CALLED FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER AND WAS GIVEN THE NUMBER 1-800-505-6450. DID GIVE CREDIT CARD NUMBER, AND I AM CALLING CREDIT CARD CO. TO CHECK ON ACCOUNT BALANCE REGARDING THIS MATTER. WILL ALSO NOTIFY ATTORNEY GENERAL OF STATE REGARDING THIS.
1-800-525-9060 2009-02-24 02:43:23 Unknown
I received a somewhat official looking item in the mail that read "Parcel Tracking Notice." It said the parcel contained jewelry with a $50 original price. There is a statement that reads "The item is prepaid, but a processing and delivery fee of $6.95 must be remitted. This fee can be paid only be telephone and only with a credit card."
I want to warn others that THIS IS A SCAM. I didn't call the number listed above because no reputable delivery service would charge the recipient for shipping. Again, if this were a reputable shipping company, they would list their name on the "parcel notice."
JasBrit 2009-02-23 18:23:39 Unknown
