I found a message on my machine from "Simon Phelps" from Imperial Research telling me that I qualified for some sort of debt reduction. Only problem, I don't have any debt. He also said it's "imperative" that I call him back. I knew it was a scam as soon as I heard it. Who is behind this?

Started getting these calls recently---at least once a week.  Says it is Simon Phelps from Imperial Research and I qualify for debt reduction and is imperative that I call.  I have no debts and imperative sounds like a threat to me.  Number given to call back is 888-471-9849.  I also called to get removed from their list and I was transferred to Credit Services department.  I hung up.  Some research!!

I also received a bunch of calls. As their area code is Michigan I just reported them to the attorney general using their online complaint formhttps://www.ag.state.mi.us/cp_division/w3cp_no_call.asp

The co. is Canadian.  Simon Phelps does not exist.  He is a computer.  You cannot speak to Simon.  Do call the company back and harass the Hell out of them.  There are many of them to answer.  When you try to talk about your so called credit debt, they want to set up a phone meeting and not answer questions.  There is no manager, they say.  They say they didn't call you.  They lie.  They say your # is not in their computer.  They lie about their names.  I know because I spoke to the same person twice, with two different names.  I had to ask multiples of times to get an address for them, which I looked up and it does not exist, supposedly in Montreal.  Harass them more than they harass you and ruin their day.

Voice message left on my machine with a frequency of at least 1x/week- sometimes more- is a recorded message that states "This is Simon Felps with Imperial Research at 8002103613, calling regarding your credit balances and the minimum payments that are going up. It is imperative that you call me back. You now qualify for the debt reduction allowances program. Again my name is Simon Felps and my phone number is 8002103613 and it is imperitive that you give me a call."  
It would not annoy me so much if this call didn't come early in the mornings or late in the evenings.  I do not have the luxury of turning off my ringer b/c of my employment.
Actually, as I am reviewing my caller ID, I notice that I received a call from 2x in one day- 1st time @14:43, 2nd time @ 19:02.
The called ID said the same thing both times, but on the 2nd call, the last 4 digits of the number were "1771" (as opposed to "1782")
I read in a previously submitted report that this is possibly a Canadian Company. If this is true, does anyone if there is anything that can be done about this? Help!

Message reads "This is Simon Felps with Imperial Research at 8002103613, calling regarding your credit balances and the minimum payments that are going up. It is imperative that you call me back. Again my name is Simon Felps and my phone number is 8002103613 and it is imperitive that you give me a call."  These guys are relentless, they call almost once a month. Something has to be done.

call from 231 732 2401 and 800 210 3613 caller named himself as Hunter Felps. Said I needed to call back asap as it was imperative. When questioned about urgency he called me stupid for not knowing what  imperative was. I returned the favor and called him stupid for leaving a message which upset me. He then threatened to show up at my house and harm me physically. I said come ahead. I asked about no call registry and he said this was a canadian company which did not have to follow U.S.rules.Something has to be done to these guys!

man claiming to be diamond phelps calling about debt reduction from a imperial research company.... sound like a scam

I am getting these calls with messages left on my voicemail constantly, claiming to be Simon Felps.  Who is this person and what type of gimmick are they pulling?

He wanted to reduce my debt in credit card, but I don't have any! He wanted me to call back, isn't it weird?

I get a cll from this number almost every day, It is annoying. It is a gmmick, and I don't know how to stop it!!!

Getting a bunch of calls from these guys today. Pretty annoying.

Received call from this number at my job and the call claims to be Simon Felps, Imperial Research wanting to reduce my credit card debt.

I am receiving "debt reduction" calls from this number. Don't have debts. Have been on the Do Not call list for years.
