folks don't answer calls you don't know. If you answer the phone from callers like this it will register with the callers computer that it is a good working number. From that they the caller will continue to call your number and even sell your number to other scammers to call you even more. So think twice before picking up that phone.

its regarding a "free service" to "assist you with furthering your education. I'm job hunting so i'm sure that's where my info came from.

No one answers when I say hello.  I called it back to see who it was and all I got was classical music.

If people want to go back to school, I believe they are smart enough to find out from the school they are interested in. This thing about some 1-800 education bridge is crazy. I hope they don't call me back. I didn't answer when they called the first time. LOL!

I just called Education Bridge because they have been calling me for a week now and no messages have been left on my voicemail.  I asked them to take me off the list for calling.

3 times a day for weeks. nobody ever says anything when i answer. this is ridiculous. i'm reporting them because i'm on the do not call list.

Got a call.  Listened to the message, and all I heard was the sounds of people talking in the background.

I got my first call from this number today, but I've been getting other 800 numbers calling. Much like the majority of people commenting, I also applied for jobs online and started getting ridiculous amounts of spam calls. Things like this should be illegal honestly. I'm just looking for work, I don't want to me hassled with spam calls I'm not interested in multiple times a day. Also, anytime I was asked if I was interested in furthering my education, I declined considering I'm already enrolled in a university.

It is Education Bridge! I just called the number back & told them to stop calling me & she said "OK, are you planning on going to school in the next 6 months?"  She said they would take me off their list!  We'll see!

This is the fifth call I've gotten from this number. I stopped picking up random 800 numbers years ago because some loser who had my phone before me has a long list of creditors looking for him. I got tired of wasting my minutes explaining to them I don't know who Stephen Phillips was. I called back once and got the same education bridge message that the other person mentioned. I figure they'll get the hint eventually and stop calling.

To me, tricking people into getting information about going to school is just SICK!!! People are trying to find jobs and they slide the education info in right before the job search. If you put any info in there and back out, it will still get your information.

This number rings my cell phone 3 times a day since last week.

They never leave a vocie mail and when I tried getting information on this number, it says it is unlisted.

I would like the calls to stop. Anyone whom I don't know and don't rescognize the number but has anything  valid to tell me can leave me a voice mail and I call them back. No voice mail, no call back.  3 calls per day. this has got to stop!!

These people get your number from online job ost websites. The want to sell loans for college and have you talk to an enrollmet specialist for opportunities. I don't think its a scam, its just people tryig to sell something.

You have to call 1 800 973 0379, and ask them to take put on their no-call list. I Googled them and apparently ANOTHER company named EducationAL Bridge has been getting a lot of complaints that dont belong to them about this to. I told her about how when I answer nobody says anything. or someone is breathing but doesn't speak up, or how I get FLAT OUT hung-up on... and she said "yeah, theres been a problem with our dialer".... riiight. She also pronounced my name(not the one i provided btw) PERFECTLY(nobody does) ...which was kind of eerie.

Apart from that lackluster explaination, the lady was really nice and fast about taking care of the issue... oddly, enough. Moral of the story, Careerbuilder.com AND Monster.com SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO SIDE COMPANIES.

Sad but true. I asked the lady if their company was hiring... she laughed.

who are these people and why are they calling??????? i called the number back to find out how they got my number and the woman on the other line was very nasty.Education Bridge, word of advice if you want to help educate people you need to educate yourselfs on people skills, and one more thing you sound very uneducated when you call someones phone number without even knowing the persons name. Do your homework

It's EducationBridge, which I got signed up for by a job search website that asked if I was interested in furthering my education. I said yes but I didn't realize that would sign me up for telemarketers. If you just tell them you aren't interested, they leave you alone.

I've been using multiple job boards in my job hunt.  Given other posts above, this is how my number was obtained.  I will refrain from answering.

Right after I applied for several jobs online I started getting calls from this number. Once a day, yesterday and today around 1:50pm. I never answer calls from numbers that I don't know. Yesterday I got the heavy breathing/sigh with busy background noise VM. No message today.

quite annoying the calls on a daily basis, but no message... really tired of it, looking for work and expecting calls but this is like so wrong.

Just received a call from this number and let it go to voicemail. It sounded like they were calling from a club as there was music in the background and then I heard possibly an asian lady in the background saying "hello".  I assume it's from filling out applications for jobs online since that's the only time I've given out my number.

they Claimed to be some type of continuing education program.. its a spam number... i filled out a job application on friday online this number called first thing today (monday) as i never get spam calls this is what it had to be.

I've been receiving calls from this number for about a month now; once a day (except weekends) at around 1:30 p.m.  I don't answer because someone once told me if I answer, then they know they've got a live number and you'll be charged--for what, I don't know.

I have received numerous calls from this number but I never pick up.  They also don't leave a voicemail message so I don't worry about it anymore.  What I don't get is why I'm on this call list.
