Someone has been calling me from this number. This is already the third time (that I'm aware of) within the past week. I finally answered today and the man said he was calling in regards to an online college degree which I requested information. I asked him where he was calling from and he said he could not disclose this information but that it was to help people further their college education. I told him I never requested any information because I'm already attending college somewhere and asked him where he got my number from. He said I filled out an online survey and then asked me where I go to school. I didn't disclose this information to him and also, I never filled anything out so I told him to delete my phone number from their database. He said I had to do that myself and then immediately hung up.

I answered and the caller disconnected.

Hey Joshua - if this is such a "reputable firm", named The College Degree", why does their caller ID state Datachamps?  They're a telemarketing firm, plain and simple.  They have nothing to offer.  If someone needs "assistance" making an appt with an enrollment counselor at the college they would like to attend, they really need to be looking into something other than college.

Called ID said Datachamps.  Told them to take me off their list.  Said they would, but keep calling.

This company, "The College Degree" is a reputable firm that assists persons interested in attending college to get an appointment set up with an enrollment counselor at the college they would like to attend. All TCD does is call people back who expressed an interest on an online form that they would like college information. When someone is receptive and truly wants to go to college this call should not offend them, aside from the phone issues we have as a fairly new company.

The DO NOT CALL registry allpies to sales calls only. Calls from companies whom you gave your phone number to are allowed. In this case, The College Degree is following up with you on behalf of the college placement service you gave your number to. Political calls, research calls, and companies you've done business with or given your number to are 100% allowed to contact you. It's the law, read the fine print associated with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.

I received a call from 800-520-5693 on January 5 at 6:42 p.m. CST.  I did not answer because I have no reason to talk to them.  I am on the National Do-Not-Call registry (since Feb. 2010) and should not be receiving these calls.

Got a call didn't answer, called them back, got a message saying 'User one, User one, if you know your parties extension dial it now or dial 0 for the operator or wait on the line.' I dialed the 0, some guy answered with a Hello, I told him someone had just called me and I wanted my number off their list, and he hung up.

I got a call from this number today and answered it. A man answer and asked for someone named Pridensa or something like that. I told him he had the wrong number. Then he said, "Oh I'm sorry, I meant is Christine there?" Blah, blah, "sorry". I said no she's not. And he said he was calling about her starting a college program. I said she already went to college over a year ago. He said he was sorry for the call and hung up.

they call once or twice a day, usually in the evening. they don't leave a message. when i call back, it says "thanks for calling user 1 user 1".

Had a missed call from this number. Voicemail of just music.
