Just called today... I was, "Caller #5". The recording also told me I could go to www.speedupmycall.com to "speed up my call waiting time". That was pretty shifty to me. A rep then picked up and I asked some detailed questions about a property they listed in Seattle and he hung up on me. Just a big scam.

called about a home advertised on craigslist in Carmichael, CA. Long hold time. when someone finally answered, they had a heavy foreign accent. I said I was calling about a home for rent that was advertised, and they promptly HUNG UP ON ME!

I just called too! They said that it is a company where you take over the payments for a registration fee of $250.00. They would take care of any liens on the property. The lady I spoke with was Reese. She said the name of the company was "Homes price" I asked her again and couldn't understand her. Not sure if this is a legit thing or not, but when I looked it up online I couldn't find anything. Too good to be true.

I called this number about a house in Dallas. I did suffer through the ridiculous holding time until I was connected with a rep who told me that they were a company that connected potential renters/buyers for homes that were close to foreclosure. I was informed that once you paid the $200plus sum that you were given a web address along a log in that you could view the houses that are available. Then I asked what type of a guarantee they had if you were not able to find a home. The rep promised that the money would be given back if I was unsuccessful in finding a home. I did ask the company name and he gave me the name when I asked him to spell it so that I could research he said that when I signed up I would be given all of that information. I was not convinced and therefore did not sign up. I tried location the company on line but did not have any luck. Hope this helps.

I just found the same ad for apartments in Portland, Oregon. Again, way too good to be true... I can't seem to find any other information.

I just called this number about an apartment in Tacoma that seems too good to be true. I started as caller #27 and quickly moved up the list. At one point the recording told me that I could speed up my call by visiting http://www.speedupmycall.com. I finally spoke to a rep named Jessica who disconnected the call when I asked what company this was, becuase there was no information in the ad.
