usually i open up with some pirate talk crap. but, I generally don't mind educational recruiters calling me.  I didn't answer because it's an 800 number and anyone who knows better would probably not pick up.  so, whatever... no big deal mate!

They keep calling me too! Wish they would stop.

These people are so annoying! They call me during classes. I guess they figure if they interrupt our classes enough we'll all need their tutoring...

I love how one person on here always thinks they are leaving a message for the person that is calling them.  I don't think they are going to see this Maggie!

all you have to do is call back 8005278378 and stay on the line (don't press any of the options) a person will ask you what you need and tell them you want to be taken off the calling list.  They will ask for you name and number and send it to the manager.  it takes abother a week to get your name out of all the databases!

Kaplan Test Prep, in my case the result of a free Kaplan GRE practice test provided at my university.  While one can appreciate that the sales and serveys resulting from these calls is one factor that allows Kaplan to offer free services (and that the callers are merely performing their jobs), the unremitted calling does not strike me as the trademark of an admirable company and even seems to border on harassment.

Per previous suggestions, if one receives calls from this number, it seems advisable to proactively seek to be placed on the Do Not Call Registry.  Having not done so sooner, I can offer an example of the apparently unceasing calls that can be expected if one does not.  Here is a list of the (only most recent) calls I received:

They call all day long! Ridiculous!! So that's who it is. They never leave a VM.

They call me every day!  Never leave a message and when I answer and say hello there is no response!  So annoying!

Seriously, they are officially calling me on a daily basis. I didn't even take the GMAT and I'm about to start an MFA program so I really don't care about Kaplan AT ALL. Next time they call I will answer and say, "DON'T. CALL. AGAIN."

Kaplan. Took an LSAT practice test with them months ago. Would NEVER work with them given that it's clear I'm just a # among thousands of their prospects. They call constantly (2 times a day) and never leave a message. Bad form. The breakdown over the past 5 days:
4/15 ? 2 calls
4/14 ? 2 calls
4/13 ? 2 calls
4/12 ? 1 call
4/10 ? 2 calls
This does not include the previous week's calls.
I also thought they would just stop calling if I didn't answer (in the normal world, that means you're not interested...or hey, leave a message letting me know who you are and I'll call you back. Duh) I finally called them today to ask to have my # removed. Got transferred at least once, but I'm hoping this did the trick - he apologized for the inconvenience and said I was removed. I work for a call center part time and I can't BELIEVE they think this is good practice.

This is insane. They always call when I can't answer, and then call AGAIN when I just don't have the patience to deal with them. Is there an online way to fix this?

Got a call from them yesterday but didn't pick up. Kaplan usually calls from another number, too. They call all the time, very annoying.

i signed up for a practice test and they gave me a doughnut in return. not worth it, they used to call me everyday but now that i just don't answer they only call about 3 times a week.

I signed up for a GRE practice test. This is b***s***. Good thing its the same number so I can just put them on silent ringtone though...

they call atleast ten times per week and sometimes 3 times in 1 day even though I am already in their class. very annoying.

The phone calls come at least 2 or 3 times through out the day. It is rather annoying when I am expecting important incoming calls.

late during the week- they call, early on saturday morning- they call, on sunday afternoon- they call. I blocked their number and hopefully that will be the end of it!
