I called from that box in Roissy CDG, less than two minutes conversation to Quebec city. i got an amount of 41 US dollars on my CC bill. I called the 800-530-4898, and got simply nothing from the person I talked with. I wrote to Aeroport de Paris to tell them what is going on with public phones in the airport. The do not manage public phone system as they report me, but they redirect my mail to the managing company of the phone system. Surpisingly, the manager I communicate with, do not know what is NOS FRANCE TELEPHONE 800-530-4898 TX.
Really not clear to follow.

I called up a San diego (Long distance) from LA Airport.   The call did not last more than 30 seconds, but I was charged nearly 60 dollars.   Like others i too swiped my Amex and other credit card.

I didn't get a phone call but I have a credit card charge that says NOS* 800-5304898 for $21.93

Got a change on my credit card.

I had the same experience.... when i called that fuc.... lady she tole me that minimum charges for international calls are for 3 minutes and it ususally costs $50 per call.

i made 3 calls from there (CDG- Paris)
1.   31 secs they charged $13.17
2.   2 min 17 they charged $14.40
3.   41 seconds they charged $16.43

So she said that you are fortunate we didn't charge you $150.... WTF.  This is too much,  CDG airport authority should wake up and act on this otherwise people will not prefer going to their destination via Paris or Air France just becuase of such kind of cheating and frauds

Same cheat happened with me on 20th Oct 2010 on CDG. I made 2 calls to india and they charged me $43 USD. When I got my credit card statment I was shocked.

when i saw the rated it was $0.99 per minuted I my both calls did not last more than 5 minutes.

Shame on CDG airport authority for allowing such cheaters to fraud with the passengers, specially the international passenger who would not carry a good image of their country. Please spread this message.

I called to India from Amsterdam Airport & got USD30 charged for less than 1 minute call.

My wife called me from CDG twice, less than 3 minutes each. I found 2 charges in my visa one for 53 euros and another for 26 euros. we are so frustrated. The worst is to think that CDG authorities are allowing this to happen to airport users. Obviously someone is giving money to someone to allow this to happen. It's a shame and we feel totally robbed and scammed. 80 euros fo 5 min to a landline in US which from a regular telephone carrier would not cost more than $1. WHAT IS THIS??? shame on CDG Airport Authority (Nos France Telephone also of course). Will call CDG and visa Fraud Dept. This must end.

I made a phone call on the 14th of may from CDG airport and I left a message on the answering machine in Montreal. It was a few seconds, telling that I lost my flight and I was going to arrive with the next flight.  I got a 53.49 dollars charge on my MasterCard bill: NOS FRANCE TELEPHONE 800-5304898 TX.  I called the MasterCard operator, she said to call the telephone company to ask for my money back. I call the NOS  phone number, the lady said that yes, it's 2.50 euro per minute for international calls BUT ONLY IF YOU USE EURO COINS...she said IF YOU USE THE CREDIT CARD, THE N.O.S.(Network Operator Service I think she said) WILL CHARGE YOU MINIMUM 3 MINUTES (EVEN IF YOU TALK FOR A FEW SECONDS) AND IT COSTS 53 DOLLARS.
Unbelievable. I will send some letters to the public television in Canada and US. We have to do something about this.

I made a call to India for 1 minute from CDG airport, France. They charged me USD $42. I will never use those boxes again

I did a phone call from Orly airport to a UK mobile, it lasted less than 40 seconds, I got charge $23.05. I contacted Barclaycard they asked me for a receipt which of course I don't have and they wont do anything about it. Still I don't what to do but I don't want to pay that ridiculous amount.

I had the same problem. I made two calls from CDG at Dec.28. First didn't go through, second lasted 2 min. Before I made a call I tried to find any information about their price. Only what I saw was a paper with
advertisement of international call for 2.50 for min. So I called.
I got charge $52.95 twice. I called company and talked to lady, she agreed to refund the first call but not the second.
I dispute the part of second charge with my master card. They ask me evidence or receipt:>))
I sent explanations and I will see what happens.

I had this happen to me, made a call on the 14th Feb 2010, after this call, three charges for about $50 showed up on my account (authorisation only), on the 23rd Feb it finally settled for $66AU. I made a 3minute call. Contact the merchant, but also contact VISA/MASTERCARD fraud department. As far as I am concerned this is CREDIT CARD FRAUD and should be dealt with by VISA/MASTERCARD accordingly.

Same thing happened to me. I was charged $110 for two calls. I was able to talk to that lady when I called 1-800-530-4898. She said after you dial the phone number, the automated system tells you which button to push to learn (!!!) the RATES. Well, I did not hear such thing! I wonder if she is even telling the truth...

I got twice $56 charge to my credit card for calls which never go really through from the same CDG.

I have the same credit card transaction mine was for $48 and I used one of the credit card phone boxes at CDG.  My call was less than a minute (just had to call to tell them my flight was cancelled TWICE!  So I got screwed over pretty good all the way around.  DON'T USE the credit card boxes at CDG!

You got deceived by an extortioner,as Iwas. I used at CDG airport one of those credit card phoneboxes. Those seem to be phone via US 800 nuimber from eorope to europe.So of course you might have goten chewed as I was chewed. So I will never ever phone again from those if I do not get the per min price.

I have a credit card transaction for <100 from with a transaction title/company of "NOS*FRANCE TELEPHONE 800-5304898" and I call the number and it's some customer service ladies voicemail. She didn't mention her company name.
