The phone companies can now sell all the phone numbers that are issued when activated so (if they haven't already been making enough) the companies can make more $$ off your loss of privacy and convenience. Just like the other advisories - If you don't recognize the number don't answer it. If someone at the number REALLY knows you and needs to talk to you they will leave a legit message.

Just got a new cell phone carrier, Verizon, and now I am getting the strangest calls every day from all kinds of numbers. Not Happy! This number is one of them. They let the phone ring about four seconds and hang up and never leave a message. So frustrating. Not happy with Verizon that they have given my cell phone number to all kinds of telemarketers!

They've been calling 5 - 10 times a day for a month. Finally called them back and had our number removed from their list. Amerilife Marketing Grp. is how she answered their phone. We shall see.
