Sue them.  

If DirecTV is calling your cell phone (not landline) without your express consent, you can start a class action under the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).  Pre-recorded calls to your landline are also against the law without your consent.

I have the ability to block unwanted calls and so far I have blocked 22.  It rings once and "Call blocked" appears in the caller ID.  What a relief.  Now if I could find a way to block "Private caller" I would be happy.

I cancelled Directv, because they did not live up to the promo and instillation that I was told I would receive. This is part of a bundle with Version, which also did not live up to there comments. After cancellation Version did sent me a check ,  Directv would not give a satisfaction of cancellation without paying a in-stallion fee. I requested a copy of conversations with them, and was refused!!  They never did live up to there promo and installation .  I told them it was a waste of time for me to live up to mine. I refused to pay the bill and answer phone calls.

Almost everyday I get a call from this number. A man starts speaking Spanish and I have no idea what he is saying.

Direct TV just trying to push more product.  

I got rid of them too and don't want any part of them. Wish they would stop calling.

I've recieved 11 calls so far today. found a setting in my phone that can send a specific caller straight to voicemail, so problem solved

You know you can sue these guys, right?  The penalties for telemarketers who don?t follow the rules can be pretty serious.   My brother is an attorney who works for a law firm who is pursuing lawsuits against telemarketers.  I?ll be happy to put you in touch if you want to explore doing something about this nonsense.   He?ll talk to you for free and I?m sure he would be happy to help you.  five 12 538 80seventy

Try cancelling your service with a balance and sending thier equipment back a month late  bet they wont talk to you then

The page headers on this website all say "800Notes", not "DirecTV Customer Service". You'll have to take your problem directly to that company. Frankly, I don't think they would comprehend your terse complaint, either.

they called me twice today and left one voicemail which was a guy talking extremely fast in what i believe was spanish.. i do not speak spanish, nor have i ever had direct tv.. i dont know for sure that the call is from DTV because i understood none of the message that was left, but everyone else posting has said its DTV.. i've had my phone number for several years now.. and my voicemail says who i am (in english) so i have no idea.

Help!!!   DTV has called, emailed, probed and asked for my first born.

PLEASE GOD.  MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!

STOP CALLING!  It's 11am and just got the 5th call from them since 8:01am.  GRRRRR.

After six months of unresolved billing issues and faulty equipment that wasn't addressed even with a Protection Policy I'm finally at a point of allowing them do disconnect my service and counteract their non-service stand in litigation, if necessary.  Don't know about you but my gripes include being billed for an NFL package I didn't order or authorize, two faulty receivers that their technical "supervisor" said were not covered under the protection policy, etc., etc.

Looking forward to dragging these guys out of the dark to expose their underhanded tactics and customer service people that don't know how to resolve issues and if they did are not empowered to do so.

yeah direct tv- calling me at 7am to tell me to return MY cable boxes.. funny- this number used to be the person they need to contact- not ME. I dont have a direct tv account..and i cant get them to STOP CALLING ME... #annoyed

DTV-on the phone

Raced out of the bathroom to retrieve my Trakphone out of my pants on the last ring, only to hear "Jane", an obvious plastic auto-matron calling on behalf of Directv. I am thinking of cancelling my existing DirecTV subscription already, because I love my Roku device so much and they have the good sense to LEAVE ME ALONE!  Sorry in advance to my legitimate callers, but I feel no obligation to pick up in three rings. If I call you back its your lucky day. If I don't you can go trip on your lower lip, cause I obviously don't wish to communicate with you. Harrassing your existing customer base with sales calls is an excellent way to lose customers permanently.

Wants me to upgrade.

I recently disconnected my DirecTV service, this was an automated message from 'Jane' (love how it has a name) calling to remind me to package up my 'returnable/recoverable' receiver(s) and make sure to send them back to avoid the fee. Have received several other 'sales' calls from other DirecTV numbers, this was the only one that left a voicemail.

Customer Connection Center at Direct TV. Funny because ever since I got direct TV last week I've had to call them with issues almost every day (matter of fact they are scheduled to come out to my home again in two days). They better get their act together before I go back to TWC.

Direct tv keeps calling, I cancelled with them, and are all paid up. They told me they were sending a box for me to ship it back, and I have not revived it. So stop calling and send me the darn box!!!!
