Calls come repeatadly, already two today. Another number is given and a web link for Freedom.com. I called the other company and a male answered claiming that he has no knowledge about the phone calls. I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor and he hung up.

Yeah, just got the same call about not being able to make online purchases, unfortunatley i gave out the number and expiration before wising up and not giving out the security code. Called the bank and they have deactivated the card but I still feel stupid, oh well.

Not a mystery shopper but did have to get a new VISA debit card recently due to the Heartland (a Visa processor) data breach. Got the call today. Filled in some junk numbers just to hear the prompts. If you really entered it they would have your card number, CSV and PIN. Hope no one is falling for this.

I just received a call from 408-329-7219 telling me that my debit card would not be able to make purchases online and to fix it call 800-538-7964 or to press 1 and it will connect me right away with a representative to fix it for me. Yeah right!!! Has anyone else recently signed up to be mystery shoppers? I wonder because I did yesterday and had to enter my phone number and now I get this call. Curious if that is a connection to this scam call.

Thanks for the info! The same number called me and had caller id and call back numbers. I knew it had to be some type of scam just by the way the recording sounded!

"Freedom Savings.com" is the company that called me. Although on the caller ID it is 408-329-7219 the recorded message tells you to call this 800#. When you call this 800# they give you another 800# to call which is a mortgage re-fi scheme
