They are calling me too, I do not have Virgin mobile

I got many calls from this number, only ring one time and then stopped.

DO NO CALL ME AGAIN.

I also received a call from this number, but I am with Rogers.

It also happened to me, and I'm with Rogers.....so maybe both Rogers and Bell sold our info?? 2 calls in the past 12 hours....

I just signed with Bell last week and today I got a call from this phone #.  Missed the call and no msg.

Was with Rogers for the past 12 years ... just switched last weekend and now this number is calling me.

So frustrating!

Kept getting these calls too, no answer,no message, finally called back and followed prompts to have number removed.  Not a Virgin customer but was up until a year ago.  annoying!!

I've had numerous calls from 800-540-7643 w/no msges. being left. I finally replied to the number via a text stating that I want these calls to cease & to put me on the Do Not Call list.

Had a call from 800-540-7643 (Montreal, Qc) a few weeks ago and got the same deal and I refused their package cause I don't use it enough and they had stopped calling after that, until tonight.  Guess they're going to drive all their "Virgin pay as you go" customers away, coast to coast.  Who's the idiot at Bell that thought of this strategy?  Once I change carrier, I don't go back. Ever.

I have gotten a call everyday this week and twice today. Its getting really annoying

Got my first call from this number on my cell phone. Did not answer. I am a pay as you go customer with Virgin Mobile.

Got a call from this # yesturday afternoon on my home phone claiming to be Virgin Mobile telling me Ive been selected to recieve 20% off my next top up. I said I couldnt afford to right now and they said "ok we'll try again later" and they hung up. They called me back twice today. Early this morning while I was sleeping (I wear earplugs so I didnt hear my phone ringing) and again this afternoon. I have now blocked all further calls from this #. I also advise everyone who calls this # back and puts in their # to their do not call list to actually NOT do that. Once you do that they get an actual record of your phone number and will sell it to other companies as well as continue to call you and harrass you.

Im thankful for this site because everytime I get a call from a 1-800 number I never answer it and I immediately come on here and enter the #. 99% of the time the # comes up on here as a scam/telemarketer.

It's a company called "Sykes".  It's an auto-dialer.  If you call the number back, you can press 1 to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list.  I did and it seems to have worked.

Try this:  send this message to that phone number.  Just text the word: stop

And a week ago, I had to stop getting texts from a code number. And, my money was getting eaten away.  Virgin Mobile told me to press options, text, and then type in the word: stop

I don't get texts anymore from one company.

Actually, if you check your spam mail box (or inbox),
you can find the same info in a spam mail form virgin mobile.
I don't know what the hell this is, but I think they want us to upgrade to more expensive plans.
C'mon...seriously. I cannot even give up my plan since I am one of the people who have a $0.30/min plan.

I too had a call the other night around 7pm about the deal that they were trying to mentioned to me. And they tried calling againabout 20 minutes ago. And recognized the number from the night before. I spoke with one of the reps from Virgin mobile. Being a rep once myself for Bell and not to sound angree towards the rep that I was talking with. mentioned kindly tha they put me on a do not call list. If they try and call back another time I'll just mention to them that they could not honour the do not call agreement and lost my business due to their failure of this an

I too have been getting calls from this number.  It started out once a week, has since increased to once a day, and today they called twice.  So today I answered.  The man introduced himself as an employee of a company called Sykes on behalf of Virgin Mobile and he wanted to talk about how he could change my plan with virgin mobile to save me money with unlimited minutes and texts.  Though I'm not sure how yet, he was able to tell me exactly how much I spend on my phone.  Quite disturbing.  I ended the chat by telling him that I would consider it.  He told me he would call back.  When I answer I will certainly drill him for answers on how he got my info and share with you all if I find out anything.

So Call the 800 # back 50 times, and hang up when they answer.. It's free for you, but each call costs them money.. But if it's Bell Canada, your probably calling someone in Mumbai anyway.

Now that I found out that Virgin was bought buy Bell I am glad I don't have a contract, but pay as I go.
I will no longer be with Virgin as soon as I have used my last 15$   AND I SUGGEST THAT YOU ALL DO THE SAME  I have also received calls from Sikes and my 15$ are dwindling away without me making any calls. There are plenty of better deals out there So go for it !! I have also noticed the service have been terrible now I know why!!! I am not giving them a penny of my money.

i also am a virgin customer and been getting that number and today twice (june 22) its getting annoying as everytime i check my phone for messages i see that they called, and when i try to call back to see what is going on and to take me off their system as i guessed from the 800 number that its probably a telemarketer even though my whole family is on a do not call list, i get a message about a long distance problem or something lol.

My Virgin Mobile rang with this number and I didn't answer. I looked up the number here and my house phone started ringing 1-888-999-2321 which I searched and IS Virgin Mobile. I didn't answer the house phone so they called right back. I didn't answer again and then my mobile starting ringing with this 7643 number.
Harassment or what?!!!!!!!
I'm a pay as you go because I hate mobile phones and only want one for safety reasons. I don't need anything more than I have! BACK OFF AND LEAVE ME ALONE!
I think I'll be checking out other companies as a result of this!
