Voice recording saying "this is PMR for [name] ......." --sounds like a collection agency but I haven't been sent to collections for anything....

HERE'S A TIP: For annoying frequent calls (ie debt collectors) to your cell phone you could save the numbers that call and assign them a unique ringer ID to ring as 'Silent'. So you'll get the call but it won't ring your phone and bother you. Then instead of getting annoyed or frustrated you can just laugh. Sure it seems they call from a million numbers but after a week or two you'll have them all saved and silenced. (ps. I ran into an old Nokia phone with no Silent setting so what you might do is just create your own ringtone with just of couple "pauses".)

somone called a relative of mine, a minor child asking for me by maiden name, once they cofirmed it was a relative they left their name and this number with ext. 2203.
my relative phoned me and I advised the relative to block all future calls and never confirm or deny anything to anyone they don't know.

Calls from this number come with the message that they are important. However the calling machine does not identify itself. No one needs to dance when a stranger pipes. For those of you who are getting calls from this number, I say, just hang up.

Getting calls from this number with just a recording when you answer it that says it is the "law office of Stacy Burns," but does not give any other information.  When you Google the number, it says it is a "medical recovery" program, but there is just a form to fill out, no information on who this is.  I have no outstanding medical bills and have never got anything in the mail from anyone.  I would like these calls to stop.
