We've been getting these calls too - since September of last year. Within the grace period. They will not stop. We do get "this is an attempt to collect debt and this call may be recorded" - but they acknowledge that my payment is not late. WTH!!

I am a seventeen year old girl who is clearly not affiliated in any way with Chase, but I am getting calls from them at least 2-3 times each day. I am also receiving private calls 2-3 times a day that started at the same time as the Chase calls. No message is ever left.

Got a letter from Chase saying I was past due and that my irresponsible credit handling was triggering an array of actions unless I immediately remitted the past due amount of $0.00. Called this number and the person said, "Oh, yeah. A lot of those are going out for some reason. You're fine." (paraphrased) The concept of customer service and Chase have never been introduced, it seems.

Me too!  It started last week!  Then they don't leave a message or anything...it's very annoying.

I have received calls from this number as late as 10pm - I was furious to be awoken by such an annoyance.  I don't bank with Chase nor do they hold my mortgage.  I've explained that to them and they promise calls will stop but that was over 4 months ago and the calls continue 5 and 6 times a day.  There has to be some kind of action that can be taken.  Anyone know?  Thanks

Cease and Desist letters do not work.  I have tried this at least twice with two companies. They ignore them.  I have received confirmation from one company that they received my letter, in which I requested that they not contact me by phone but by mail only, and their answer was "you need to call us to discuss this" and they continue calling, sometimes multiple times a day.

Good luck if you try that route.  I wish we could afford caller id.

They call 6-8 times a day 7 days a week and when you answer no one is there.

I started getting these calls from Chase Mortgage AFTER speaking to a live person and informing him that this number had been reassigned almost one year ago. The automated calls began less than eight hours after speaking to Chase. I WILL be suing.

They Call Me 2-3 Times A Day. Even On Sat.& Sun.

Sounds like a collection agency. A fake one at least. Last time I tracked them down, the fingers pointed at ER Solutions.

Send them a letter "Cease and Desist" and another "Validate Debt"

Did you know you can sue $1000 a violation they make?

These Mada Nutters need to go to hell. Yes, they use upscale tactics to track you, convince, make you pay - so be careful before you pull out your wallet, you still don't know who your dealing with.

Been getting calls for about 3 months now from this number - will not stop

This is Chase Bank, they were calling to remind me within my grace period that my mortgage payment was due.

It Chase bank... seems there too stupid to know I have automatic withdrawl set up with them and have not missed any payments in 4 yrs. Very annoying to call people to tell them they MIGHT be late with a payment. Save the hounding for people who DONT pay.

Hmmm, Chase seems to have a number of problems, not the least that I'm current, and that they have called me every 10-15 minutes tonight for the last 2 hours.  No messages either....

...Chase, and I finally caught the dumb payments up!!!!!!!!

I receive a call from this number 2 - 3 times a day. And they never leave a message. They run my voicemail time about 1 to 1.5 minutes long of something that sounds like a call center.

THESE PEOPLE ARE FISHING YOU FOR INFORMATION!!! BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY!

I work for a law office that helps people with loan modifications, etc. We deal with lenders everyday, and Chase is no exception. THIS IS NOT A CHASE NUMBER! These are scam artists that take advantage of people in a vulnerable state. They might send you letters as well - suspicious letters that have very little information on them, to the point where it looks like it's been printed up on Microsoft Word in 10 minutes. There's no signature, or even a company logo!

SERIOUSLY, BEWARE! All you have to do is ignore/block them.

you are so right cause i deal with chase and they seem to take your money and do whatever they want and then say you owe because they have paid land taxes for me when i didnt ask now say that i owe them and it's been over 2years since i opened my account with them so why am i now being charge for escrow

HOW DO U BLOCK THESE CALLS.......AS ONE SAID EARLIER..........FOR I AM UP TO HERE.....I HAVE HAD 6 DIFFERENT CHASE NUMBERS CALL ME....AND ONE WAS FROM CANADA....WTF.IS THIS CRAP???????????????.........

Whoever is calling is driving my ill husband and myself crazy.  We have never been past due on any bill since we married 40 yrs ago and I do not owe Chase anything.

They call early and late and I want it to stop.  I have requested several times for them to stop calling.  That is if a person is on the phone.  Sometimes it is just a recording or nothing at all.  It wakes us up all the time.

What can we do?  This should be illegal.

Call several times a day, at home & at work.  When I answer, they just breathe & hang up. I called Chase to let them know. They removed my phone #'s from the contact info, but they still persist.  I'm not late on any payments.

If you ever need to reach a live person at Chase mortgage quickly, this is a great number.  The Chase automated system was down for maintenance today (Sunday) and I was worried I wouldn't be able to make my Chase payment by phone (and would get charged a late fee).  None of the Chase phone numbers I had were being answered.

I stumbled across this number on the site here and gave it a shot.  It went directly to a live person and I was able to get my payment made.

Chase has come by my door and left a message for me to get in contact with them. That is not suppose to happen. I spoken to attorney about it and they are going to open a case and work on the problem.

They are from Chase and they are trying to collect. You need to send them a letter and ask to stop doing that.

It doesn't have to be tither.  My phone number is listed under my initials, they constantly call my house asking for someone with the same initials but not my name. I have told them numerous times that I am not the person they are looking for but the calls continue.

They are a collecting department at Chase Bank. They collect on credit card or mortgages. Depends on what they want you for.

If you don't want them to call you any more. Just tell them you boss will not allow anymore of these phone calls. Once you say that. They have to take you off the list.

The are a chase mortgage, they collect and see if they can if what is going on with your mortgage. I called them to find out. After speaking to 6 people , they gave me that answer.

So it's all dealing with mortgage.
