These asshats called me several times until I loudly cursed them out. I guarantee they are scammers. How they got my number and knew I had a recently defunct Windows system is beyond me. Guy said his name was Albert Smith---sounded highly not an American native. Wanted me to go into Run and do some things. Said I had viruses and they'd infect a new computer too. Total BS. I asked for his numbers and was given this 1 800 550 1843 number as well as 210 234 4604. I called the 800 number and left a scathing message. He them called me back a couple days latyer. All his calls came up anonymous. He called me back repeatedly after I cussed him out the first time. Maybe he was a glutton for verbal abuse. In any event, I googled the 1800 number. There's several reorts of this "cyber security" set up as a scam. DO NOT deal with these scamming POS. Thanks god I didn't do what he wanted me to. I
m still concerned they may have something going on in way of stealing info.

I just received the same call. They also provided another tell number 201-234-4604 and the ladies name was Jennifer Walker. Also a middle eastern accent. Don't give them control of your computer.

I got a call from this company who claimed to rid my computer of malicious software. They instead, charged $300 on my bank account, and began to delete my important programs and cache. When I called to ask why this guys was doing this, he replied that I got the wrong number and he's a Laundromat owner. I called again and he said that he works at a Dominos Pizza and continued to ask me what kind of toppings I want. He may think he's a funny guy but the process of tracing his phone number has started.

The people calling from this phone number (1-800-550-1843) are trying to scam you. They call pretending to be a representative of Microsoft saying they received a certificate from your computer stating it has errors in the software and they need to fix it. They then proceed to have you get on your computer and open all sorts of different programs and have you go to a website so they can take control of your computer and getting all your personal info (i.e. bank accounts, social security numbers, addresses, birthdays, ect.). Then they tell you, you need to purchase a warranty through them for something like $130.00 or else your computer will crash, otherwise meaning they will crash your computer if you don't go along with their extortion scam. I know this because they did this to my elderly neighbor in San Diego, CA. Luckily my neighbor came wise to the scam once they asked for her credit card # but not before they already gained access to her computer remotely. I called the number back and got a hold of an errogant Indian(India) sounding man. I asked him what the name of the company was and was the company based out of the United States. He wanted my name before he would answer the question, which I absouletely refused to do giving he just tried to scam my neighbor. He would not give me any information and kept telling me it's none of my business what this company is or does. Any repitable company, especially one who claims to be with Microsoft would have no problem giving you this information. I told him I was reporting him to the S.E.C.(Security Exchange Commission) and he then got boligerant and loud and started accusing me of trying to scam him. His English was extremely poor and I had a hard time trying to make out what he was rambling about. Anyhow, if you see this number, don't answer and don't give out personal info to the person on the other end of the line, Indian sounding or not!!

I received a call telling me that I had many viruses and adware and they would fix it for me, free.
I have no idea how they got my number so asked them for their number and told them I would have to talk to my daughter as she was the decision maker with me.

These ppl calling me r totally different than those ......Fake Tech.Support Company...who gets into ur computer and copy all ur password...bank details....importent files n folders. And also leaks ur info online.....making life easy for the Hackers. Its nt dat i did not pay or sumthng...i did pay for the service...bt they not only gave me the service but also installed an "SUPER FANTASTIC" Anti Virus..& also all the security that i needed in my comp....and now my computer is Bettr dan the best. And the most importing thing is,dat you ask those  ppl to conform your CLS ID(Cust. Lisence Id...which is only in ur comp and the provider of ur Operating System. If dey don't hav it...u hang up the call rite away. U can Reach these Microsoft certified Tech. pll....who i think are the Higest Level Of Tech.....( 1800-550-1843). All the best.
