1. Make sure your number is on the do not call registry (then telemarketers are not allowed to call you).
2. Report the annoying calls to the FCC using their online submit form.
You will need the number, time and date of call and business name.

This does work!  The calls will stop, keep reporting them!

Called regarding contest.  Mentioned in the mail no need to purchase.  Got the supervisor on the phone.  Would receive free watches, magnetic therapy bracelet and magazines of choice for $1.+ /week.  Hung up.  Do not want to purchase magazines.

You answer their call and no one talks  - must be crazy robo-calls - some stupid person making a machine place their calls for them!

Companies in pursuit of customers have an automated calling machine.  Dialing one number after another.  If you're lucky(?) enough to pick up your phone, the line is switched to the next available salesperson.  I've convinced myself of this because I heard  other people talking in the  back ground.

Picture a room with cubicals about five foot high.  Each with a person on a phone jabbing away.  Therefore adding another miserable annoyance to your attempt for peace-ability.
Defense= Have a phone service that supplies caller ID.  If you don't know who's calling.  Don't answer.    In other words....Silence them out.  OH!  Make a list of the numbers.

I constantly recieve calls from 1-800-556-5372 on my Blackberry.  They call early morning and into the night every single day.  I do not pickup becuase I know it's either a scam or a solitcitation, as I've read the other comments regarding this number.

How does one get rid of this company????   It's a dreadful form of harrassment!

I have tried telling these people to remove me from their calling list, but calls keep coming to my cell phone.  I have registered with the no call system and also placed it on "reject" - no help whatsoever.  Does anyone know how to rid these people?

you would think that would be the answer but it doesn't work first I asked them to stop but still received a call back 20 minutes later so I used a few choice words they hung up but called back within an hour or two I blocked out the phone number that they were calling from only to have them call me from a different number.these people are sick people and need help are a good a** whooping.Only if I knew where they were located lol

i received the the call from a person named daniel (female).  they are suppose to be representing some national magazine.  i believe it was a man disguiseing him self as a woman.  i asked them to remove my name from their calling list and hung up.

I just got another call from this number.  This is the 6th or 7th day in a row.  No message is left either, and it's my cell phone they're calling, not my home phone.  It's gotten to the point that I just don't answer it; I ignore it.  I wish they would stop!
