No one on the line when I answer.  Repeatedly over the last few days. I don't owe anyone and I'm not past due on any bills.  Need to stop calling.

This duma** idiots have done the same thing to me and I am filing a harrasment lawsuit against them. Better Buisness Bereau has been contacted and my local police department is doing an investigation. In 2 days I recieved 17 calls, and each time I told them "Wrong number" and each time they say "We will take you off our calling list and you wont recieve any more calls from us". Yet they keep calling.... Now im wondering what I will do with the money I get from the lawsuit. LMFAO Thanks r3tards!!!

Honestly I don't even know why I am required to pay on a student loan every month while I am in MEDICAL SCHOOL...but I have been paying so I don't know why they are calling! Then there is silence on the line!

Caller keeps calling.  When I answer, no one talks and when I don't answer, there is no message.  They won't quit calling!

Called over past 2 days for account that has payment posted on their own website. Payment posted 4/12 it's now 4/18. Really??

alright fellas, this is how the game is played. They're in a automatic dialer so it just shoots out the call when the account shows as past due. They do call after six days but it that sixth day lands on a Monday prior to your due date you will receive a call from DSL since the system thinks you're six days past due. If you do make online payment through the website it does take three to four business days for it to be fully processed and show up on the main system. So if you make the online payment when your account is four five days past due expect a phone call and please be nice to the agent because they don't know you made that payment online. To get out of phone calls just answer the phone, give the agent a method of payment; like how youre going to make the payment and the day you will be making it. doesn't matter if you lie about just as long as the calls stop, right? and please be nice to the agents theyre people just like you and me. they also have no power. The only thing they can do is collect the payment.

Discover has these great commercials about treating people how they would treat themselves...i called them, cleared up any issues and yet I am STILL receiving calls from them.

To anyone who gets a call from this number...call Discover Student Loans, pay your bills or get an in-school deferment so you won't default on your loans. Hopefully they will stop calling after a few days.

Most people don't bother answering toll free numbers. If you don't speak you don't get answers. You apparently just prefer harassing innocent people by constantly ringing there phone- most times for someone who isn't the person you are trying to reach

they have been calling me and every time I answer there is no one there...silence...nothing every time how can I get them to stop if there is no one there. they start calling at 8am and don't stop till after 8pm wtf leave me alone.

This number calls me multiple times a day.  They never leave a message.  Not sure if it's true that you can't leave a message on VM as other loan companies have in the past.  New laws?  In response to the person who said answer - I've tried that and there is never anyone there!  Interesting to know people have pegged this as being Discover Student Loans.  Why the heck do they keep calling if no one is actually on their end to talk to me?  Getting ready to block the number completely...

Discover Student Loans. They called yesterday regarding a late payment on a loan I am a signer on. They say they start calling when the loan is 6 days late. This was 4 days after the due date. The loan was paid and was in-process on Discover's web site! The caller asked how the loan was normally paid - and I asked if she's a representative of Discover would she not already know that? So she looked into their records and saw the payment was being processed and that she would make a note of it. Today they called again - my home and cell numbers. I did not answer.

Just answer the phone. We can't leave anything on your VM because of state laws. If you answer then we legally cannot call you for a week after that.

I believe that this number is from a global call center that handles any number of different accounts. I have been called on this same number concerning American Red Cross blood donation, Discover Student Loans, and a credit card past due. I originally added it to my cell phone address book as Red Cross and then got confused when I answered it to tell the Red Cross to leave me alone, only to be speaking to a different party. It is also annoying in that the call is initiated by a robo-caller and it takes upwards of 5 seconds to connect to a person on the other end.

I am getting calls from this number once or twice a day.  I have a day job and do not stop to answer random numbers.  Perhaps, if they left an informative message, I would feel differently, but right now, this is feeling like ongoing harrassment from an unkown company.  

To the company involved- please just tell me what you want!  Maybe I'd be obliged to respond.  Frustrating me with constant calls will not earn a return ring.

Some sloppy employee from Discover seems to have accidentally dialed my number; I got a short voicemail of her having a conversation with someone else about something totally irrelevant to what the call should have been about.

I get multiple calls from this number and they hang up before I can even answer it.  Great way to run a business

Discover student loans have called today starting at 7:49AM,10:08AM and 11:42AM on our grand daughters phone 5 times this morning. She is a full time student and took time off for this summer (allowed) but they can't get it through their heads she is still a full time student.

This is a collection agency - Discover Student Loans.

I reported them to the FTC today because they harrass us non stop every day. We have no idea who the person is they are trying to reach and they just keep calling. This is a business phone and we only have 3 people in the company so it isn't as though we wouldn't recognize the name if that person worked here! They've been told over and over again, but they are too stupid to register that they are wasting their time trying to reach this person through us.

This group calls our office multiple times every single day asking for someone that does not and never has worked here. Sending a cease and desist letter to them today and reporting them to the Attorney General of Washington State. This place is hideous and STUPID. They've been told no less than 50 times that we do not know who they are calling for and that this is a business!

I think this is Discover Student Loans, who have now take over Citi Student Loans.
