Sounds to me like you are one of these scumbag collectors. To many scams out there now. Maybe I do owe the debt but if you can't give me proof of the debt then all i can say is kick rocks......

Have numerous calls from this person.  Wouldn't say anything on the answering machine so I called them to find out who the lucky cuss out winner is and the woman was VERY RUDE.  SCAM ARTISTS.  I gave her a piece of my mind (normally I'm polite on the phone w/others) but she got an earful.  I told her I knew her "tactics" and she ended up hanging up on me.  Never would tell me why she called.   She spoke so fast I couldn't understand her.  It's a total SCAM, we owe no one a thing financially, told her so and she mouthed off to me, so the B*tch got it back.  Turing her into the do not call list.  Those guys call at all hours.  Sick of these Bast*rds ya know? !!!!!!!!   :(

I ordered something from beacbody.com, got double billed and refused to pay. Sko brenner is a debt collector for them

Often get calls from 800-557-2114.  They do not leave a message.  When I call back they state there name SKO Brenner.  If I do not get a bill in the mail, I sure am not going to give nasty people by information.  They are threatening and often call relatives etc.  I have their number blocked now.  It still rings however.  Very annoying!

She proceeded to ask about my wife and I told them I did not know who they were talking about. I said in the most self gratifying way possible can I stick my meat deep within your musty butt hole. No needless to say she hesitated "butt" agreed to the terms and agreements written above message and data rAtes may apply.

The problem is some of these collection agencies don't listen. When my son (who is 10 yrs old) got his cell phone apparently the person that had the number before him had some financial problems and with this economy I'm not going to judge anyone. But when these people would call my sons phone asking for Jennifer he didn't know who it was at first and told them it was his phone not Jennifer's. In a two week time period they called him eight times before he told me about, saying I told them I'm _____, but they keep calling. So the next time the called I had him give me the phone. I explained to them the situation, they said 'OK, we'll remove this number'...however, they still called my sons at least five to seven times a week for a month and a half. I finally cussed them the hell out and told them if they called his phone again I would call the police, make a report, and I would then get a lawyer and take them to court. They eventually stopped calling almost three months after I filed a report and said they didn't believe me and thought I was Jennifer and after seeing my driver's license they would like to apologize. F****NG A***OLES.

These people keep calling me and I don't know what for.  A lady leaves her name and I know she's from some sort of company but she never says what company.  I want them to stop calling me.

Like many in this thread, I received a letter from SKO Brenner stating that I owed $90 for a "Pregnancy Diagnostic Test" performed back in May of 2009 (!) to a company called GENECARE. I worked with my insurance company to determine that no claim was ever submitted by this company. I had never been billed directly. This was the first I had heard of it.

I called SKO Brenner and asked for contact information for GeneCare. The associate refused to provide any information, stating that they didn't have contact information. She pressured for immediate payment. I told her I disputed the charge and would be investigating. She said that the claim could only be "held up" for one to two days, at most.

I called my doctor's office and found that multiple women had gotten such letters and the medical center was gathering information. (This is in a town of under 250,000.) They felt the claims were likely a fraud but office personnel needed to look into it and call me back.

Then I did a few minutes of additional digging, and it got much more interesting. GeneCare, the entity named in the collections letter, no longer exists. I called the number listed, (770) 767-4500, and was referred to a representative in accounts receivable. She admitted that Alere erred and that I should not have been referred to SKO Brenner. She also admitted that multiple people had been erroneously referred to SKO Brenner. When I asked if I could have a written statement to that effect, she kindly provided an email stating that they were removing my account from collections (I guess SKO and Alere are in contact with each other after all?!) and I was not responsible for the charge.

DO NOT PAY THE COLLECTIONS AGENCY. It's likely that in the aftermath of GeneCare ceasing operations, someone at Alere thought it would be a good idea to sell off "old debt" that wasn't actually valid debt at all to SKO Brenner. I am hopping mad that women are being subjected to this extortion and will be contacting the attorney general's office in my state.

I will not respond to this as it will clue them into the fact that they found a human and they aren't one.

I just received a letter from SKO saying that I owed $195 to a Genetic Testing Center with a date of service 5 weeks after I found out I was Pregnant. I didn't have any testing done at that time.
I don't know what to do. I guess go to my Physician and see if they sent anything off to be tested. Anyone else with a letter from SKO representing GENECARE??? I am beginning to think it is a huge scam.

They somehow got information about MEDICAL TESTS that I had done years ago and are telling me that I owe $90 for outstanding fees.  They said I could give them my CC# and clear up the outstanding debt over the phone.  I called the billing department of my insurance company and not only do they not use this company for collections, but in fact have NEVER HEARD OF THEM!  My accounts are not in arrears either.  

I called SKO Brenner back to have my number removed from their list and was essentially harrassed by their "customer service agent".  I told him that I was going to contact my attorney and he laughed and said "I'd be happy to go to prison - at least I'll get 3 square meals and a roof over my head".  

Long story short - he finally said he would remove my number from their list.  We'll see if he actually does.

keep getting calls and telling me that they have an important message for me and a account number. I jsut called them and they refused to send me an invoice regarding the bill. they said that they have already sent 8 statements out and wont send anymore. Its irritating. If i own this iwont pay without a statement going with my check so that i know it ahs been paid.

They get your daughters' and other phone numbers by doing one of those background searches with another phone number ( could even be an old number or email). Some of those background searches provide names of relatives and other info. If I see a number on my phone that i don't recognize, I do not answer it. I can then look the number up on the net to see if its one of these low life bottom feeding parasitic and creepy groups, like this number.

yeah right half the time you don't even have the right person so that's a load of bull and of course you are so professional with people when they call listen to vm that was left and have no clue who person is you are looking for stop calling and hire people that speak english and we can understand and if your not shady why won't you give people your company name address for mailing etc... why because you are shady and very unprofessional!!!!

Called my house 2 times within the last half an hour, but did not leave any message. Not the first calls I have received from them! Cannot stand callers without leaving message and still call right back! Doesn't make me anser the phonefor any better reason the second time around!

Consistantly calling, no one answers when I pick up.  I do have a debt but this is stupid and annoying.  When I call back, I am asked to wait for the next representative and wait on the line.  No representative ever comes on.  Well, I just talked to someone, it is from Meaningful Beauty for a small debt. I owe.  
Somewhere, I read a similar situation with this company using this collection agency.  
I will call them and ask them to call me direct and discontinue this harrassing situation.

This number is for SKO Brenner American, a nationwide collection service, and it's probably because you haven't paid for your "Attacking Anxiety & Depression" program (from Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety) that they sent you when you ordered it from their TV infomercial.  The purchase includes a standard "free" 14 day trial ($14.95 shipping + $25.81 CA tax initial charges).  If you didn't cancel and return it in the original packaging before the 14 day trial was up, then they charge you $274.10 (!!!) for the program, payable in monthly payments. The total is $290.51, which you (or whomever at your phone # ordered it) legally owe.  The original invoice came in the package with your CD set, and you probably have received one or several notices/bills from SKO Brenner American, PO Box 230, Farmingdale, NY 11735-0230 regarding this debt.  At least, this is my own situation, but I am sure some of you are in the same circumstances.  You can call their customer service # at (800) 944-9460 to work out a payment plan, or try to work out a return of the product at their Returns Dept. # (800) 511-5217 (Mon-Fri, 9A-5P EST).  A return authorization is required for returns.  Hope this helps!
