Yes, I got through eventually.  Use this phone number: 800-566-2888.  They will put you on hold for at least 10 minutes.


My situation was that there was no confirmation page, and the website was unclear, so I ordered over $100 worth of merchandise (50 of which was for shipping).  

I called to cancel, the system said that it was not yet in the system, but the next day when I went to call it had already shipped, then they charged me.  I was given no opportunity to cancel, as the order was never in the system prior to being shipped.

I called them, and said that I wanted a refund, including the cost of shipping and handling, as I had already tried to cancel the order.  After much arguing, I demanded to talk to the person's supervisor.

He said he would refund me, but said that they "do not refund shipping and handling."  I said no, I want a full refund, right now, including shipping and handling (in an authoritative voice).  He said no, but soon afterward agreed and refunded me the shipping.  Now I just have to send the items back to get them refunded.  Unfortunately I have to pay return shipping.

Moral of the story: When they say "no," do NOT accept it.  Say "my friend got a shipping refund the other day, and I want mine right now."  If they continue to fight it, threaten to call the Better Business Bureau.  Essentially they try to make you think it is company policy that they don't give refunds.. you'll find that it is a lie if you push hard enough.

Hope this helps, as mine appears to be the only story in which I got back my shipping and handling charges as well.

I ordered the snuggie robe and by the time I got to the end of the oder and seen it was $15.90 for shipping, I looked for somewhere were I could cancel order there was no place to do it. I guess I joined the same problem you all have had.

I ordered a Snuggie for a family member, and somehow ended up ordering 4 instead of 2.  I called Friday 12/26, after waiting on hold for an hour, I hung up.  I tried again today 12/29 and waited on hold for roughly 15 minutes.  They canceled my order with no problem.

It charges you $15.90 because even though they give you a free one with your purchase, they don't charge you for the blanket, but you still have to pay for the shipping and handling on the free blanket, so $7.95 X 2 = $15.90, and they do advise you of it. I'm with everyone else though can't get thru to anyone to cancel, got thru on the day I order it, and was told because it wasn't in the system for 24-48 hours I had to c/b, this was on 12/22/08 he advised me to c/b on 12/24/08 and was told they would be open on x-mas eve for phone calls, but when I called on 12/24/08 the recording said they were closed for the holidays. I think everyone should file a complaint with either the Attorney General or the Better business Bureau.

Called after a similar situation about the excessive shipping charges and cancelled - Dianne answered and was very curteous and cancelled the order.  Had to wait about 10 minutes on hold, it was my third attempt but I finally got through.

I have the same experiance....no charge showed up on my AMEX as of 12-15. But remember...you sent these f****rs a CC #. Perhaps this is a scam to collect CC #'s and re-sell.abuse/ID theft. I have canceled my AMEX and they are sending me a new card today. I have also alerted them of the Scam. I am AMAZED to still be seeing this commercial on TV. The CT ATT Gen. has not jumped on this!

(Follow-up to my note of 12-15.)  When I got home tonight, there was a package from Snuggies, 400 Fulfillment Crcle,  Wallingford, CT 06494.  UPS Shipper #9R7R87.  Inside, two snuggies, as advertised (more or less), each with a funky little book light.  I'm not sure how practical the light  is, but it seems that they delivered.  Hope the rest of you get good news like this in the next few days.  I'll check back in a few days to see if any one might have any questions for me.

I've tried daily for a week to get through to this number to either check on the status of my order and/or cancel it.  Today they have a website link in their Customer Service area of the website that allows you to check your order status.  The order number in that was different than the one I had been e-mailed.  They also list a different 800 number to call for customer service.  It's an automated system that errors out if you can even get it to pick up.  I finally tried the 2888 number again and got through.  I got my ordered canceled, my advice is if you haven't been charged yet be persistent and keep calling until you get through.  Be sure to watch their customer service hours of operation because the system will just ring you through and put you on hold if they aren't open.  Good luck those of you who choose to keep faith in them!  I smell a scam big time with this one.  I've ordered products off of tv before and NEVER had this happen.

JUST CALLED THE 800-566-2888 TO CANCEL ORDER PLACED 2 WEEKS AGO BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN B/O AND FINALLY GOT TO SPEAK WITH A SALESPERSON. OF COURSE IT TOOK SEVERAL TRIES AND KEPT HITTING REDIAL, STAYING ON THE PHONE FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR LONGER BUT FINALLY GOT TO CANCEL THE ORDER!!! WE'LL SEE!

I ordered $97 worth of Snuggies on November 10 and got the confirmation email that day, but haven't received them yet.  Today, I went to www.getsnuggie.com and clicked on the customer service link at the bottom of the page.  I then put in my email and it pulled up my order and said they were on back order.  So hopefully, they just have tons of orders and it will take a while for them to ship them all out.

I have about the same story as LisaVB, with a slight update.  I placed an order on Nov 24, at which time they told me stock might not ship for a couple of weeks.  Tonight I went to check it out.  After reading this thread, I called the people whose card I had used.  They told me a charge was placed on my card on Dec 11, for about the right amount.  (Thirty bucks, more or less.)  I'm going to look for my package over the next week or so.  Hope we're all luckier than what the thread implies.  Happy holidays to all!

I placed an order for 2 snuggies on Dec 1st and got the confirmation email.  No charge to my credit card and no snuggie as of yet.  I am waiting on these for 2 christmas presents!  I have a very bad feeling about this and I have never been scammed like this before.  Please let me know if anyone recieves their snuggie.

Same thing... ordered around the end of Nov.  they did not confirm the cost.  Tried to call back and can't get through - PS: No blanket of course.
Have been charged $35.65 by "Merchandise Direct".  I am guessing this is them so I am disputing the charge.........

Its sad how this can be all over TV and still conduct business like this.  Not that you're supposed to believe everything on TV.  Like the other person said, this was for a family member who wanted it badly. I would not even think to buy such a thing - or basically anything off of TV - especially now!!

I also ordered and then when I found out it would not ship for 6 weeks tried to call 800 number to cancel. I  have been trying to call for 6 days now and each time the number is busy. I have put a hold on the order with AMEX and instructed them not to accept any charges from any company with the name snuggie .

I tend to agree that this is a scam. I ordered in early December and have yet to receive it. Good news is that I don't see the credit card charge yet. Bad news is that it was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I will enter an immediate dispute with my credit card company as soon as I see the charge, based on the non-delivery and the number of complaints on this site.

Thank you for your info.  I also ordered this blanket thing around the same time that you did.  I did it by telephone. When I called, they talked me up to a more expensive blanket.  Told me the one on tv was really thin.  I agreed to the upgrade. I did so for my sister in law. At the time I ordered, she had just been diagnosed with colon cancer.  This blanket seemed to be all she wanted. I have tried calling back, and did get thru once on 12/5.  I told the person that day to please cancel it as we now knew my sister in law had stage 4.  The operator said that she could not because the computer showed the blanket was on its way.  I would get it any day.  It is 12/15, and I have not received it yet.  Last week I thankfully found it on QVC.  It was the special value of the day. It is more expensive, but, at least I will get it for her. Anyway, I have not been able to get thru to this horrid blanket place since, to stop the October order.  This will be nothing but bad memories IF it ever comes.  I also am considering filing a complaint with the AG's ofice.  Thank you for the full address.  I did not have it.  God bless you.

I just place an order and got the same results. Execpt that I was charged 34.90 for the order of two blankets with shipping of $31.80. The total was 66.70. I called Discover Card to cancel the transaction which I was told that the charges had to post to the cc before I could dispute the charges. I was not happy with that explanation. Did you ever get your order?
