 Received a ROBO call from this number, stating I was entitled to a FREE web page
from "GOOGLE"....and I had failed to take advantage of it.....

Nothing against charities, but enough is enough... they'll promise to remove your number, but you'll start getting calls again in a few months... You can add them to the list of companies that ignores Do Not Call. I found a call blocker a few months ago at http://www.BlockTelemarketers.net that works really well... with the push of a button it permanently blocks any more calls from any unwanted phone number. It's been a godsend, as I think I'm on every phone SPAM list in the world.

We are a business with an outbound call center. We regularly receive calls that ring and when picked up they hang up. The number is 1-800-567-0675. We would like this stopped, as it takes up valuable time for our employees and wastes our phone lines.

Verizon needs a call block option which they don't offer which is why I'm switching to Cox.

This 800 number never has anyone on the line.  It should be reported to the FCC

Got a call from  800 567 0675 on June 24 2010.  Apparently St Jude's children's hospital is asking for donations.   Now,   I am out of work and live on my meager savings until I can get work.  My bank account is beginning to squeek that it's getting skinny.  Times are hard but I do volunteer work at the local charity store to keep me active until I can get paying work.  That's the best I can do.  Giving money more than a few cents means I would default on my utility bills.  I am fortunate that I don't owe any money yet.
Because of all this I don't accept this kind of phone canvassing, so I told the lady and asked her to take my number off their calling list.  She persisted and I repeated.  This went on a couple of times until I lost patience and hung up, because she would not let it be and didn't want to hear my tale of woe.

Four days later on June 28 2010 another call from the same number, same place..  Told the lady AGAIN that I had already asked to be taken off their calling list.  The lady repeated and tried to justify her call, "Well, we are a charity and we're asking for contributions".   I told her again that I do not respond to phone canvassing, period.  Lady repeated it again and I told her why I had asked to be taken off the list and to not call this number again.  Eventually she got the message and ended the call.

I know times are hard but we all have it hard.  We can only do what we can.
A bit of common sense would go a long, long, way

In the day of caller ID, why do people continue to be irritated by these calls, just don't pick up the phone....Really people?????...it is not rocket science

I just got the call on my CELL PHONE....  How the heck did they get my cell phone number!!!  They left a voicemail but with no voicemail.  I tried called it back but it just rings busy.  ARGH!!!

Keeps calling, day and night

I have asked them 6 times to stop calling. They said they would but keep calling. They are a big pest.

I have asked them repeatedly not to call. They continue to call 3 or 4 times a week.

We kept getting the calls from St. Judes Hospital while we were not home, then we got a package delivered by FedEx to our home for a walkathon for St. Judes. We didn't order the package and i returned it. I just called and explain this to them, the lady was very friendly and put us on the do not call list.

Sure it would be nice if non-profits never called anyone.  On the other hand, it would severely limit the good work they would be able to do.

While it's nice not to receive calls we don't want it's important to realize we're not entitled to freedom from all inconveniences.

Oh and yes, we are on the no-call list, but non-profits and charitable organizations are still able to call, for some reason the no-call list doesn't cover them, though I wish they would because I work from home and it really takes away from what I get paid (data entry) to answer the phone when I get calls like that.

I got a call from that same number, and yes, it is St. Judes Hospital, and I called them back and asked them, politely, to remove my number from their calling list, and they did just that.  They actually were quite nice about it.  So if you don't want calls from them, just give them a call back and let them know to remove your number, it's really easy.

It is the support line for St. Jude's Hospital.  Wanting donations.  I thought being on the "Do Not Call" list would eliminate these?  Guess not, will just keep ignoring;)

There was no one on the other line, but later i called the number back after they hung up on me. It said it was for St. Jude's line.

there is never anyone on the other line.  So frustrating!!!!
