Hi Schill.....I think they called me to see if I would be interested in doing another one of their promotional getaways.... I didn't recognize the 800 when they called so that's why I looked it up on this site.... and I'm back again today, because they called again yesterday.... I don't understand why you are upset or angry with me? .... I did enjoy my vacation with them and will probably do one again next year.... Is is for everyone?  Probably not... but for me, it was a lot of fun and we saved money! ..... Have a wonderful day....

Event Reminder
In response to Shill, I too have bought into the promotion for a timeshare and I was told up front that I would have to listen to a 2 hour talk trying to convince me to buy the timeshare. (Sometimes men do not hear all the details)  I also had to look up this number because it does not match any of the contact numbers I was given when I bought the $99 package.  My promotion was offered to me while making a room reservation through Choice Hotels.  I have not taken my trip yet but I hope to find it as enjoyable as Lisa did.  I plan on giving them my 2 hours and then spending the rest of the time with friends who I will bring along.  And by the way, my daughter and son-in-law did the same thing a few years back in Myrtle Beach and had great accommodations and the time of their life for very little money. Hopefully "unhappy" will enjoy himself also.  I will comment back later this summer after my trip.

I got several calls, never a message, I called it back and it was the Outdoor Traveler that several other folks mentioned. I also bought the trip thing at a Bass Pro Shop, haven't been yet, but I bought it knowing I would have to sit thru the time share sales pitch. Having lived in central Florida for many years, I've enjoyed several stays and mini-vacations in the name of a time share pitch, haven't bought one yet, don't plan to but this one. If you ever want to buy a timshare, look at the secondary market, typically 10 to 15 cents on the dollar from the original purchase price.

I bought the same vacation that you are talking about at a Bass Pro.  We used our vacation in St Petersburg, Florida and had a great time! We did have to go to the timeshare tour but we did it first thing in the morning after we got there and still had the rest of our time to do whatever we wanted.  The timeshare person that gave us the 'spiel' was nice.  We weren't interested in buying into the vacation club and told him so. He was cool about it.  We got back a total of $125 in Bass Pro Gift Cards and only paid paid $99 for a 2 night stay!  It was well worth it. I would do again in a heartbeat!

They have called twice in a week, and both time I have answered.  When I answer they hang up on me, both times.

Me and my wife & some friiends were in town for a Nascar Weekend, So there was drinking involved, I've never been to a Bass Pro Shop before so i get the wife & the guys to all go. All of us broke into seperate ways including my wife. I seen this huge Nascar neon sign off in the back round, so i headed over to check it out. Meanwhile there is this younger fellow (18-21) standing at a desk with a fish bowl on the counter. He asked me if i wanted to get signed up for this $25,000 gift card, i never sign up for stuff like that, cause i never win. After he got me to sign up for that, He asked me if i wanted a great weekend get away. He explained to me that Bass Pro Shop and his company joined together to offer these great prices.(now i have been drinking prior) The price was $150.00 for three days two nights. For an additional $50.00 i could go on any weekends or holidays. I never set up any vacations for our family so i thought i'm really going to score points with my wife. So I buy it for $200.00. Happy as i could be to tell her. as were going to the race track she reads through it and come to find out i bought a  weekend to go sit through a damn timeshare. I'm now embarrased in front of her and my friends. So needless to say i learned a lesson. I'm not going to use that weekend, for i know i will buy more stuff i don't need. So i get a phonecall from this company about once every two weeks to come enjoy my stay that i paid for. I live about 15 miles from a Cabela's store and the few times iv'e been in there, Iv'e never had a vacation trip pushed onto me. They offer there credit cards which i turn down every time and thats it. No more harrassing/pushing they leave a guy alone. Sorry i wrote my life story, but i am upset and very unhappy at myself for buying into it, but also i blame Bass Pro Shop for having a company like that selling this in their store. The company name is BlueGreen Vacations "Outdoor Traveler". Hopefully my post will help. Thanks
