they said they were from spot on.

Received a call at my place of employment.  Someone by the name of Tom Collins left a message on my voicemail.  Said he was with Spot On.  Any idea what Spot On is?

If you closed your bank account and moved to a new one can they legally withdraw money out of your account if you have not signed any loan papers authorizing them to do this with the new bank account. I would assume the only way they would do this is if they opened an account and deposited money and then took out as much as they could.

I have the same problem.  Not sure how to get them to quit calling

They keeps calling the cell, most of the time don't leave a message.  they always call twice in a row.  Every now and then someone leaves a message.  Don't know who they are, so I don't return their call.  I'm just tired of them calling.

An additional word to the wise if you ever settle with as PDL company, use a service like Western Union or Money Gram when making a payment so your new account information isn't used for collections from other PDL's.

when they called...the number they left was 1-866-571-3687 but the caller ID showed 800-571-3687...therefore both numbers are correct....I don't have any payday loans so I'm not sure why they are calling....I did fill out the form on-line for a couple but decided against it and closed out of the site before clicking submit.....no deposits in my checking? wonder if that's it? I won't call them back.

Thank you so very much! :) .... When I called they told me that they had 2 loans out from 2 people. I have had this number for 19 months now and do NOT know these people but, it seems that they(and one other guy) owe everyone in the USA(and maybe other Countries also). Once again, I want to thank you!
Now lets see if they take my number off their call list..... If not, I guess, I will take legal actions on them for harassing me!

Why can't we trace these calls.....we need to be able to have a location right too thier front door.The a***oles call me atleast 3 to 5 times a week.Tried to get my cell company to do something about it and no luck.

Called my office yesterday left message saying they had status with their company & also sent me an email. No idea who they are came up under the above number, but call back number given was 866-571-3687

They called me twice this morning. They didn't leave a message though.

Many states (Approx 18) have banned PAYDAY loans - CHECK WITH YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL.

They cannot give a loan to people in states where they have been banned.

In some cases the BAN also includes collecting on loans given before the BAN was put in place.

Beware*** this is a company calling to offer you a "PAYDAY LOAN" If you hve ever taken out a loan before..... and didnt pay... or changed you banking information, and their "sister"company cant get ahold of you, or your money.... The new company comes in offers you a "new loan" and the sister company gets yours info and the same day the "new loan" is posted the the sister company will debit your account for any amount they deem, BEWARE*** BEWARE*** BEWARE***BEWARE ***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE!
