Its Kaiser about Flu Shots
| Not sympathetic 2013-11-19 18:49:43 Unknown |
People may not get sick from the flu shot, but people sensative to their own immune system can become very sick when their system reacts to the build up of potential immunity from the virus. I know, as I have ended up in the hospital twice due to getting the flu shot. I have been advised by the doctor to not do it again, as it could kill me next time.

Aw, cute. ::pets the troll:: Since, of course, I actually know the definition of that, as well. Should've known it wouldn't take one of you long to show up.
I'm a regular at this site because I like helping people, be it from scammers, extortionists, or, even here and pointlessly with most, bad science. Sorry that you have to take facts and twist them, up to and including calling people "trolls" because you don't agree with the facts, but I'm certainly not surprised by that tactic. Too bad, but it's certainly far from the first time an anti-science poster has done so. ::shrug::

I cannot believe the pro vaccine idiots are trolling this page. How weird.
Anyways, Kaiser called about a flu shot clinic

I like you. :)
I won't get into the dang debate about vaccines here (not the place, self...::bites tongue::) but there's NO live virus in a flu shot, so it's IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to get sick from it (sick LIKE, perhaps, as your bodies creates antibodies, but that is NOT the flu). Vaccine antigens are not strong enough to cause disease but they are strong enough to make the immune system produce antibodies against them. Memory cells prevent re-infection when they encounter that disease again in the future (from THE CDC WEBSITE). That's FACT, not just opinion.
Of course, alarmists and conspiracy nuts will always believe what they want, no matter whom they hurt, so I'm sure I'm wasting my breath should any of them troll here more. Ah, well.

NoFluShot - you're an idiot. You are one of those people that say "I got the flu shot and I got the flu anyway". You don't know what you are talking about. Most of the time people says "I have the flu" when they really only had a cold. The common cold can be quite bad actually, but the flu is really bad. Go educate yourself on the subject before you spout off trying to convince people that they should not get flu shots. Read up on Herd Vaccination to maybe realize how important it is for everyone to get their vaccines. Or go ahead and keep making fun of people for their weight problems.

Listen KP stop harassing me at home late on Saturday night. Tha'ts stress. There are about a thousand better ways to avoid getting the flu than taking a stupid flu shot, which half my company took and they got it anyway, and out for longer than ever. Unless you are like most Americans, a tub of waddling lard whose only talent is to text while drinking and driving, the rest of us are healthy as horses and don't get the flu even when they have to come into a flu infested work place to take over for those unhealthy people who had the shot and got sick anyway. KP's physicians hate their customers whose lifestyle keeps them from needing medical treatments and does their best to make them sick, or screw up basic tests.
