Still calling, but other employees have said they want to "verify" our credit card information

This person calls 6 or 7 times a day for the last 2 weeks, but hangs up when we answer.  We can hear someone breathing in the phone before the caller hangs up.

This is actually not always Engineered Systems  There is a call center that is hired on behalf of publishers.  I would not assume that by contacting Engineered Systems you can get this problem resolved as the call may not be on behalf of them.  The company that calls works for a lot of major publishing companies and their number shows up for several of their publication.  I subscribe to many engineering related publications and most of them have calls coming from the same call center.  I am waiting for them to get back to me on a number you can call into to enter your number onto their DNC list so you dont get calls from them.  Stay posted and I wouldnt waste your time contacting Engineered System as it may not be their publicaiton calling you.

For the past week has called my work number and won't leave message.  When I decide to answer phone line goes dead.  When I tried to call the number back, rings many times before stopping.

Getting repeated calls daily, for past 2 weeks.

This is Engineered Systems. they are and HVAC magazine. Im sure thier contact list in thier computer is ont he fritz. I know this becasue I work in the HVAC industry. I just got a call from there at home and like the rest of you said nothing or hung up before I got to the phone.

Same as everyone else - Just started about a week ago and getting progressive..

I googled "Engineered Systems Magazine" and found their website, which lists the name and contact information of the publisher.  I called and left a message on his voicemail.  I'll see if he returns my call.

Calls me every day between 6:45am and 8:00am. No message left. I'm not late on any bills.

Calls and hangs up about once a week, and about two times on each day

Same as everyone else -- rings, no one's there, hangs up.  Wouldn't be a big deal if I weren't getting three or four of these calls within the hour -- perhaps 15 calls from this number today alone.  It's extremely disruptive!

How do I press charges? I have received at least 10 calls a day on a business line and it makes doing my job less effecient.

Got a call from 800-575-0517. They said that they are calling with regards to Engineered Systems magazine, and wanted to confirm my address, so that they can send me free trial issues. Since they've been calling me with no responses for the past sevaral days, i dint want to give confirm my address and said am not interested. Be careful, it could be a scam.

800 575-0517 called my work number at 11 AM MST.  There was never a person on the other end, no sound it just disconnected a few seconds after I answered.

My customer is having same problem. Call your provider and tell them what is going on. They will fax over a sheet and you need to take that to the police department and do some more paper work and then fax back over to carrier to get it stopped!

Today early morning got a call from 1-800-5750517 AGAIN. Tis time someone responded, and told they are Engineering Systems, and wanted to confirm my address and they said something about credit. As the were teling my address i disconnected the call, as i was sleepy.

I redial the number. At first it answered and I heard something in the background.  After that it was a busy tone or stopped ringing after one ring.

Got a call from this number at work. They left no message. I do not pick up the phone for calls from 800 numbers.

just called again, which makes 2 calls within an hour, both times with nobody on the other end when i pick up. i have probably gotten around 50 calls from this number, never a message or a response if i answer.

Same thing here, calls and then disconnects without even a sound. Only once a guy spoke, and sounded like one of job marketting guy. Getting call quite often with no response.

Two times today I got this call. Same as others, silence, then a click and nothing.

GOt the same call from the same # at my work phone.  No talking -- just disconnects after 2 seconds. What can I do?

unknown caller, won't leave messages, won't talk, won't identify, hangs up, harrassing me--i work rotation, interrupting my sleep.  I have pressed charges.
