This number 1-438-800-0481 has called to my home. It is mafia's number. Don't give any information to them because they want to have all collective information to sell for money.

I just received a similar message from a 'Ryan' at BVC, Inc. I was addressed by first name about an urgent tax matter regarding a 1040 "refiling" and told to call this 800 number, although the caller ID number was (303) 867-6606 from Denver, CO. Since we had just recently been negotiating with the IRS about some back tax payments I almost called back. But the excessive background chatter in the voicemail seemed suspect. When I searched online for the company I found nothing. When I typed in the 800 number this blog came up. Thanks for the warnings.

Received a message today and couldn't understand  the woman's name but she said " call me back regarding a federal tax issue at 800 579 0481 ext 237 .  I thought it was some kind of scam so i googled the phone number and found all these other people received the same type of call .  Thanks for the info everyone because now i know it's definitely a scam - even though i am on the "Do Not Call National Registry List".

I got a voice mail from "Selena Tomoko" or something similar regarding a state tax matter.  I live in Washington, we don't have state taxes.

I got a call and they asked for me by name, I treated it as though I was the receptionist and asked what this is regarding, she said it was a personal tax matter and she could only speak to Carl, I asked what the company name was and she told me it was BBC, I asked what that stood for and she said it was just BBC, I asked her to verify "DBC"? she said no Boy Boy Charlie, I asked what kind of business was this and she said it was a personal tax matter. I told her I could take a message and have Carl Call her, she gave me the name Jodi Atkins, 1-800-579-0481 from BBC Incorporated.
I googled BBC Incorporated and don't think I found this company, so I googled the phone number and got this blog.

they keep calling.  I answered in Spanish and pretended I did not speak English.  The caller said it was regarding a personal matter for me.  She got frustrated and hung up.  I think if she calls back, I will speak Hebrew.

Came home from work tonight and the hubby told me I had a message on our machine regarding my Federal Taxes.  Couldn't understand the women's name but decided to call the 1-800 #, ex. 237, to see what was up.  I figured it was more than likely some kind of telemarketer or scammer using the hook of a "tax matter" to get me to call back.  Luckily for me, their "office" was closed and I got a voice message saying I had reached "BBC" or "BVC" (not sure since the message wasn't clear).  Anyway, not calling again and will ignore any other messages they leave, as I am sure this is not about a legit tax issue.

received message on dec 10 saying it was about a filing that had to do with my ss#.  Left a reference number and this 800 number as the return call to Lela Marie.

I got the same call from the same woman this afternoon. She just kept saying for my boss to call their office but wouldn't give me any further information

Insistent calls from BVC to my home regarding personal financial solicitation. Privacy please. Do not call and invade my privacy.

Received a message from Lawrence Taylor to return call asap of an urgent tax matter. Thinking this was the IRS, I called back the number of 1-800-579-0481 x238 and talked with Lawrence Taylor. Big mistake. Not only did he inform me that our accounting firm wasn't doing their  job (which they are). He preceded to claim his company had information on our Federal Income Taxes and the payments we make to IRS were not being handled correctly. As I tried to end the conversation, he said he didn't appreciate me talking over him.
Enough said, end of conversation with this person and anyone involved in this company.

Number displays as 303-867-6606 in Denver, CO area. They asked to return the call regarding a Private... Personal Matter. They requested to call  800-579-0781. He said his name was Matt Houston and could be reached at xt 255

I called them back and asked for the office location.  Young woman who answered was asked for an office address--she hesitated and did not respond.  Then I asked her if this was a call center and her response was "Not exactly" and she instantly put me through to voice mail identfied by a female voice as "Rose Hayes".  No such person listed with Colorado government accountancy board.
BEWARE!!!

Nothing listed with the Better Business Bureau.
Phone number 303-867-6606 is registered to an address at *** Diana Street, Fort Morgan, Colorado 80701, an hour away from Denver.
No reverse listing ANYWHERE for these criminals.

These guys keep calling and claiming to know something about our business and taxes. They were unsure of our info and were trying to get us to release information. We have an accounting firm and work with our state tax department> i can't think of any reason a company from out of state would be calling us about our instate affairs.

Got a call from them today.  First he said he was calling from B.V.C. then he said he was from B.B.C..  Tried to get too much info without giving any info about what his company was, what then needed.  Finaly said  "Yea we handle tax stuff."  click

Recieved a call from a Clair Thompson on 5-18-12 . Told my secretary it was a personal matter. Indicated she was with BVC but wouldn't elaborate on what that is.

Received a call from this number at 12:52 pm on May 17, 2012.  The person identified himself as "Ryan" who said that my father told him to call him regarding a tax matter.  The company is BVC Inc. Have no idea who this is and my father is 93 years old and he never told this person to call him. Also, interesting to find out how he got my phone number instead of my father's.  Beware, I think this is a scam to get information out of people.  Going to notify authorities.
