My daughter got one of their cards in the mail. We are at least the 3rd owner of this vehicle. It is a 1994
with over 200,000 miles. I know there is no warranty on this vehicle. I notified the BBB in there home town, and the report that I got back was not very good. Proceed at your own RISK.

Most definitely a SCAM
Like most scammers, they have to hide the website registration under "domainsbyproxy" and use godaddy due to the protection that both of these methods affords.
If this was legit, there certainly wouldn't be an reason to hide.

I have not received any calls, just post cards with the number listed.   When I have called, the Telephone Sales Representatives (TSRs) are not very informative when the calls do not represent perspective customers.  Sometimes they are rude.  When this happens, simply remind them that they are recording/monitoring the conversation.  The good news is that YOU CAN HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE very easily if you understand your rights.  Here is how it is done.  File a Prohibitory Order (US Code 3008 under Title 39) against them or any other company that sends you junk mail and refuses to remove you from their mailing lists.  You can download the form by going to the USPS website and clicking on the forms tab.  Also vistit Junkbusters.com for other ways to protect your privacy.

Please note: Getting on the DO NOT CALL list only increases the number of scam telemarketing calls you get as the disreputable scammers have figured out how to use the DMC made available to telemarketing firms to glean new numbers added to that list knowing they are real numbers and they have  at least 30 days before they are supposed to stop and the vast majority even ignore the 30 day limit.

I first spoke with someone back in March 2009. They quoted me about $3500 for 5 years coverage. I said no. I've had a few more calls and kept saying no. Tonight I got another call and they reduced the total to $1445 for 5 years coverage, but they needed $250 up front to get it started. Christopher, a manager, ext. 167 said that he could take a post dated check. I gave him a credit card that I no longer can use. It's a closed account. He's to call me back the middle of next month to get a viable payment and then the papers would be sent out to me. Marathon is the name of the company that would be insuring the car. DWS is the sales company.

Same here, I get calls all the time, and today, I got the phone #800-581-1575, a name, Greg Carter, and he represented himself as a rep for a Toyota Dealer.  It is Dealer Warranty Services and no matter how much they protest, it is their company and they do call, all the time, multiple times a week, at my place of work, which is a car dealership.  They tell me that my warranty is about to expire, (it did three years ago), and then they ask me what kind of vehicle I have.  When I tell them that they called me, so they should know what kind of vehicle I have, they hang up.  I have have many customers call me or visit me, complaining about this company, thinking it is our company.  They are rude, and do use scare tactics on the elderly.  I wish we could put them out of business.

you mean "MissourI", and Attorney General right?

well anyway, Dealer Warranty Services DOES NOT cold call.
Simply send you a post card, and if you wish to be taken off of the mail list, politely remove you.

It is no scam. Just simply an offer

Warranty Dealer has been phoning my 84 year old mother who has a great deal of memory loss. I ask her to get their name and phone number the next time they called. She did that and I was able to call them back. The man claims the only way the company would have called is if my 84 year old mother had received a postcard and called them. That is absolutely untrue. She lives in the country, can't drive, and gets all her mail through me. We have not received any postcard at all.  When I called the number the man was absolutely rude. Any legitimate company would not take the tone of voice this man did. I am appalled that this can happen to seniors. Please everyone watch out for the seniors around you. They need your help in protecting themselves from these unscrupulous people.

These A** HOLES keep Sending my Mother who has never owned any vehicle in her life these cards. They have even CALLED her several times. They are almost a bad as the credit card SCAMS. When will the FTC stop them. Why does the Missoury AJ not go after them?

If they put some of them away in a VERY HOT jail cell somewhere for 10 years they may think twice about scamming people.

Thed person calling himself C.H. on this page could be one of the phone scammers, or he could be just someone who doesn't know what he's talking about. These car warrenty people are crooks and have probably dozens of phone numbers in various states. The Telezapper doesn't work anymore if it ever did. What I like to do is unplug my phone when it rings and do a *69 to find out if anyone called who is not a scammer. It is always a scammer because I know when someone I want to talk to calls.

I just received a call from Warrantee Department, p:1-800-581-1575.  This is the the first time that I have been able to get information on the company since every time that they call and I remain on the line, they hang up as soon as they realize that I am onto them. Since I am tired of their harrasing me, I am keeping myself enternained by posting this message in all the poster boards out there, thank you ec for this link:https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

you really need to get your facts straight "vince". Dealer Warranty Services is not responsible for ANY outbound calls. They send out postcards that are simple offers just like any other offer or coupon you receive on a daily basis. If you read the whole card it says your 'factory warranty has either expired, or MAY be about to depending on your miles. please have vin # and exact miles ready to see what we can offer. as a company we hear people all day who are fed up with the company that is calling people, they are the ones who need to be persecuted for harassing people not just the first company name you come across. It truly must be nice to have so much free time on your hands to go online and whine about mail you dont like.....so while your at it, go online and start a blog on pizza hut, dominoes, or every other company that sends you stuff. Grow up and get on with it......throw it away like everything else.

Adam, how do you know that the source of the phone calls and the source of the post cards isn't the same? And why would anyone bother doing "homework" on "companies" that are merely criminal operations trying to scam people via the mail and on the phone?

Vince, I've also have received both post cards and calls from auto warranty scammers. Just ignore Adam's asinine remarks and report those auto warranty phone calls to the FCC every time you receive one. Here's the link to do that: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

No you have not, they mailed you the notice. Not the source of phone calls. Do your homework, there are several companies out there.
