This is strange because my number is based in MD, so obviously they got their info from a socal thing. I guess it is an autodialer, I don't think anyone is actually awake at the switch.

Received a call at work on my cell phone. Didn't answer, and they left no voicemail. Very strange. Don't these phone soliciting scum know to not call a cell phone? Idiots!

someone from this number has tried to reach me seven times over the course of the week 8/15-8/22, but they do not leave a message. I have not tried calling back, but since they've been suggested to be Time Warner who I consider legit albeir annoying, I will pick up next time and ask to be removed from their list. I believe that solicitors can legally call a cell phone now, but you can opt to have yourself removed by dialing into some master list which i did months ago when legislation changed...google for details...

They called and the speaker identified himself as working for Time Warner Cable. He then asked if I had a computer at home. I said I would never tell any random caller what sort of stuff was inside my home, and then I said I never wanted to be called again for solicitations by this company. Who knows if he was being truthful.

Hmmmm...I forgot to submit this from earlier before the other post. That makes more sense since I am a TW cable customer. Now I can call them and tell them to never try to upsell me on anything...

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number with the same M.O. I don't think they (telemarketers) can legally call cell phones without an opt-in. Trust me I don't opt into anything. The phone company suggested that I report them to the DNC list hotline. Opinions???

Called 9/25/07 and 9/27/07 on my cell phone and did not leave a message when I did not answer. I called back after the second call and was told the company name and that they were trying to sell landline phone service. I told them that I had moved and was no longer a Time Warner Cable customer. (My cell phone was my customer contact number with them when I was a customer here in Los Angeles several months ago.) They took my name and number and said that they would remove my number and not call me again.

Just got a call as well, they hung up after three seconds, on hold with a strange machine that does not say what the company is.
