I received a post card with the same text "Your Vehicles Factory Warranty has Expired.......By neglecting to update your Product Protection Plan you are at risk ....." from that same USP Vehicle Division, but with phone number 1-800-583-8858, address 601 E Third St., Suite 400, Alton, IL 62002.
There is not any of my vehicle information on the card but just my name and address. It is scam. I will never contact them.

UPDATE? I have not ever even purchased a plan from this possible scammer and I will pass on this because just reading the post card, you just got to know something is not right!

My Romeo got a postcard today coming from the same company address with the phone #1-855-239-0172. Everything mentioned on all the commenters are the same on the content of the card. If you look on the upper right corner, there is a Company Permit No. ______ that exist in Watertown SD. If you think this is a "Mail Fraud", contact the US Postal Service Inspectors and they should be able to do something with it. They can trace it with the permit no., Guaranteed.

I received a post card saying "Your Vehicles Factory Warranty has Expired.......By neglecting to update your Product Protection Plan you are at risk ....."
Also, no information on my vehicle - sounds like a scam or shot in the dark from license numbers.

I will avoid it.

I also received this card, I called and asked them to remove my name from their mailing list. They only asked to give them the control number in the upper right of the card and then they removed me, but we'll see.

Hi everyone
I got this in the mail also. Same message as you have. I sort of want to call them just to have some fun. You see, my main transportation is a 85 car. The guy I bought if from didn't tell me I had a warranty, ha ha.

I received a "Vehicle Document/Alert Notice" notice from USP Vehicle Division in Alton, IL. The notice states, in part, "This notice is to inform you that your Vehicle's Factory Warrant has Expired, Or is About to Expire based on the Current Mileage or Age of your vehicle." The phone number on the notice is 1-855-239-0172, but I did not dial the number because I never heard of the USP Vehicle Division and because the wording of the last paragraph (i.e. "All products come with free 24 hour road side assistance. Our protection specialist will find a product to fit your needs...") leads me to think the notice is a scam. Another thing: I could not locate the alleged company on the Internet.

I got this post card in the mail today. I knew it was scam. I called the number (to screw with them). They could not tell me, which car my factory warranty was about to expired. When they could not tell me. They asked me for all of the car info. First they wanted the VIN number. When I would not give that to them, they then told me. I called them. I told them they were a scam and hung up. Don?t waste your time calling. It is a scam. Last one of these I got was from Missouri.

RECEIVED A CARD SAYING "VEHICLE ALERT NOTICE" THE FACTORY WARRANTY WILL EXPIRE OR MAY HAVE ALREADY EXPIRED AND TO CALL THEM TO GET PLAN UP TO DATE. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM THAT SHOULD BE IGNORED.

Received a card just checking if its legal
Didn't call just went on Internet

I received a "second notice" from USP Vehicle Division. Same as Lois. Is it a scam?
Old Mother Riley 2013-06-05 13:29:48 Unknown
That's the way they phrase it - to scare you. Do you already have a Service Plan with them? Do you want one? It is up to you to decide how to live your like, rather than some Marketing bod.
cibiranka 2013-06-05 13:06:37 Unknown
hi, Lois, and what did you do after receiving that post card? I got it today with the same address and phone number. Looks like I MUST call them. Should I?
ToppCatt 2013-04-09 03:50:08 Unknown
This is the number of a vehicle warranty scam that it is said to be legit but unnecessary
to your vehicle's warranty as a duplicate and overpriced anyway. They didn't call me but this is the number on their phoney postcard solicitation.
Lois 2013-02-27 17:52:43 Unknown
I got a postcard from them (a vehicle alert notice) warning me that the warranty on my vehicle will expire soon, or maybe has already expired. They want me to partake in a "product protection plan" or we will be financially liable for all repairs after the factory warranty expires. They don't mention which vehicle, since we have three.
