I just received a voicemail from this Prestige company as well, offering me of course the same "free bridal package."  Caller's name was Kim.  I also did not attend any bridal show anywhere nor did I register for any drawing.  I have no intention of engaging the scam, but I wanted to comment here so that other people could see the information twice.  Evidently, this Prestige company is persistant.

Just FYI....

Yea this irritates me. My wife, when we were engaged, also got a call, we were registered through davids bridal. Anywho, its not a scam, we got our rings and everything. We didn't need to buy anything just sit there for 2 hours, watch a presentation, and eat. After all of that, you get to choose between a honeymoon or wedding bands, if you buy cookware you get both. We got our brochure for the trip and everything was good. We ended up trading back for rings though and are now happily married with two beautiful free rings.  :D

what they are trying to do is give you a free stay at their resort, without paying airfare. expecting you will stay more than 2 nights that is where they get you're money its completely legit. and i think that it is just fine. if you are planning to go on vacation why not accept there 2 night 3 day stay and just add on a few nights out of pocket. If not you get a free apron and free glasses(that you pay shipping). no big deal. it is free with expectations that you will stay longer and spend money there. Smart.

I got a phone call from Kim (314-481-0417) asking me to call her back because I won a bridal package.  I have not attended any bridal shows or signed up to win anything for the wedding, so I don't know how they got my number. The number I was asked to call was 1-800-586-1123.  This seems to correlate with experiences that others have had from a company called Gateway Brides.

I recently received a call as well, but spoke to a few of my friends because they had gotten the call as well about a year ago.. And really, what's 90 minutes to listen to someone try to sell you something to get something in return for FREE!!! I mean come on, maybe it is just me but FREE is good, I don't care where it comes from and it helps that wedding bands are not cheap.. Get the free ones and sell them if you don't want to keep them, make the money and get what you really want....

I am going to talk to my fiancee and see if he will go with me, cause really what is 90 minutes of a day for something FREE in return? and I know how to say NO, I'm not interested...

Take a chance, don't assume that it's a scam.. It's not. That is how my friends got their wedding bands...

Of course, if you haven't let them steal your money how can you call it a SCAM?

Are you attending the presentation on the 25th at the Hilton Garden Inn?  All I've read everywhere online is that this is a scam but all those people were the ones who DIDNT attend the presentation. I think I'm going to give this the benefit of the doubt and attend and see what happens. They can't charge me unless they have my bank account/debit card #/credit card #.

If you attended a bridal show and filled out forms for what kind of info you are looking for this is how many of these types of companies would get your info. I just hope the "Gifts" are not a scam. I will be attending the presentation just to listen and enjoy samples.

Best of luck to all. She gave me the web address of the company and thier Facebook page. Call came from 608-663-8591, I have worked in many call centers, They are probably on a dialer. Gave me an 800 # to call if need to reschedule.

I got a call from this number and talked to a lady named Kim who was very nice. I was told I was picked for a bridal package that included 2 engraved champagne glasses, matching aprons, coupons for groceries and 2 wedding bands or a trip to an all inclusive resort but you had to pay your way there. I was skeptical at first because I would have to attend a cookware demonstration in order to receive my prizes. I attended anyway and was very pleased with the experience. I have to admit I thought it would be boring. The mad giving the presentation was very friendly and even funny. I had few laughs and some very tasty chicken and carrots. We ended up buying a set of the cookware(my fiance fell in love with the chicken) and getting everything they said we would. We do have to pay for the $50 in shipping for the rings but it's worth it since they cost about $800 in total. They weren't pushy in their sales tactics and we didn't even have to buy anything to receive our gifts but the cookware was just too amazing to pass up and is well worth the money we spent for it.

I bought toasting flutes from a co. for a dear cousin who is getting married in Dec. However, as I was searching for these flutes I did register online w/David?s Bridal. I have since rec?d several, more than two calls, from 1-314-481-9886 & 1-314-481-9888. Not recognizing the nos. I didn?t answer and a VM was left telling me my name was picked from a company drawing for a bridal package and asking me to call back at 1-800-586-1123 and to ask for Kara. I don?t recall entering my name into a drawing. Don?t believe in ?drawings.? I did register w/David?s Bridal online newsletter because my husband and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal, dinner and dance early next year. But only for their newsletter! THIS COMPANY IS ALL OVER GOOGLE.COM! AND IN A BAD WAY!

so i got a call today from dinner4two stating all the free stuff everyone already knows, and the attend the presentation part (didn't like it). So i decided to book an appt for Sat 24, and right after asking her 1000 questions i went online to verify if it was a scam since i never head of it, and it was too good to be true. I will ask my fiance about it and if we do attend i will come back and post how good or bad it was, so it can help other brides like me. :)

I signed up for absolutely everything at the Bridal Fair in Calgary, AB and got a call from one of the ladied with Dinner4Two last week, they gave the same "free aprons, trip or rings, and presentation". i figured since i had a rare sunday off and we had no plans we'd attend, it was great! Warren our presenter was fun and informative, we thought it was crazy the money they were asking for pots and pans, but after seeing them in action, and tasting the "from a box" cake he whipped up in front of us, we decided to get a few and pay using the monthly payment plan, also the fact that u can register it all for ur wedding was awesome (but we didnt wanna wait that long) ya, everyone one seems very quick to jump to the SCAM conclusion, but its not, they just have the same business outline as tupperware/ passionparties. its the kinda stuff u cant see the value in unless u see it in action... and i absolutely got all the free stuff they claimed... and i got it BEFORE we decided to buy anything! also they have a facebook page of the same name if u need further convincing! doo it... if anything u get free lunch and free aprons and such :P

I went to the dinner4two presentation today and I agree with you. I don't know why people are saying its a scam when they haven't gone to the presentation...  The guy was very nice and the cookware was very impressive (but expensive). With that being said.... You will get everything they say that you will get and you don't have to buy anything.  My salesperson did not put any pressure on anyone that was there to buy anything.  So in my opinion it was worth sitting through the demo to get the stuff.  Just make sure you read and understand all of the fine print (which they tell you in the presentation). All I would say to people is just listen and read and if you don't like it walk away.  No one is forcing you to do anything.

I have received calls about these free trips & I went to the culinary arts demonstration & Guess What? ITS NOT A SCAM!! The catch is that you have to sit through a 90 min. seminar, but it was FUN!! Yes, They WANT you to buy something and they are GREAT salesmen, but I said NO & still received the free trip! SO CHILL OUT!! I Know it sounds too good to be true, but it's not...you still have to pay for your own airfare, but it's worth it!  Trust me! Just go to one it's really worth it!! & I got free food out of iT!!!!!

After attending a brial fair where like most people, I entered every contest. I misseod a call and the voice mail said I won a bridal pakage from Royal Prestige to call the 1 800 586 1123 and ask for Kara. I looked through all flyers I gotsince the company sounded familiar and yes it said on the flyer what everyone is saying, it is a honeymoon to Jamaca but I had to attended a presentation to receive it. I reminder the guy at the fair saying the same non the less I still want to know if anyone has gone to one of the presentations......

I think David's Bridal is the problem... I went to a bridal show months ago and then a couple weeks back I got a call from "David's Bridal" saying that I won some monthly drawing but it was really some Mary Kay lady who gets people's info from David's Bridal (name, cell phone #, street address, personal e-mail, etc.) and my "prize" was the opportunity to host my own Mary Kay party... Today I got this call from 1-314-481-0417 and the voicemail said it was "Cameron" or "Karen" calling from Royal Prestige and I had won a bridal package and for me to call her back at her "office number", 1-800-586-1123 and to call before 7pm. I thought it was a little funny that someone's office number was a 1-800 number and that's what brought me to this website.
