Purchaced duracote and a cleaning agent from them over 5 years ago and now they stated that I owed them for another 5 gallons for a total of $556.82. checked the order out and found that it was closed at the time of the order and there was not any mention of the additional quanities. Watch what you do the individual that I talked to was a Mike Davis phone number 866-882-6895 ext 120. He is a very fast talker and will not let you get a word in edgewise to try to get your opinion in.He threntened legal action as the order was not completed and that he I finaly had to state over the top of his continued reterick that this conversation is over and hung up. Will have to wait ad see what they will do. I do have records that show I had problems with this company 5 years ago. Stay away.

We got a call from 786 956 8541.  The 'manager' said that we bought a gallon 36 months ago and now owed for the remaining 4 gallons that were part of the trial offer.  We did buy a gallon of the stuff and haven't actually used it.  The odd part is that we bought it over 5 years ago, not 36 months.  He claimed that the 'trial' price was no longer valid and the remaining 4 gallons would be $170/gal plus shipping and a $500 'restocking fee' for a total of $1200.  After my husband totally lost it and told the guy off, he called again and I ended up talking to him.  I explained, calmly, that we had never been told that there was any other obligation and would not have ordered it if there had been.  He then said he would check with shipping.  He put me on hold and then came back to say that shipping had agreed to take 2 gallons off the order as a' hardship grievance' but that we would have to buy the remaining 2.  Then he offered to send a catalog with the 2 gallons and we could return the product and get something out of the catalog instead.  But we couldn't just get the catalog, he had to ship the product and then we could return it.  I pointed out that we hadn't signed anything and we would not take the product.  Then he got angry and said we would be liable for the full 4 gallons and the $500.  I told him he could send a bill and we would get a lawyer.  That was yesterday, so I don't know if they will try anything else.  By the way, the company is based in NY, but that is a Miami, FL phone exchange.  The number on the invoice is answered by a voice mail without identifying the company and the number on the shipping box is no longer a functioning number.  Sam, scam, scam!

The call I got was from 866-882-6895.  The guy said he was from Protect Your Surface and that the rest of my order was ready to ship.  I told him I made no such agreement and he threatened to turn it over to collections and that I would be sorry if I didn't pay !

They pulled the same stunt with me tonight.  Ruined my night.  We bought some garage paint at least 6 years ago.  We only needed 3 gallons to do our garage.  This salesman says that it we still need to pay for the remaining 7 gallons since the order was really for 10 gallons.  He pretended to call shipping and stop the order so that he could work out an awesome deal and tlaked  the company into accept 3 gallons at over $360 as paid in full.  He kept saying they were a multi-million dollar company that would never sell small quantities.  I asked him why a multi-million dollar company would need to harrass a customer for $360+ dollars and why there was no other solution.  He really got fired up when I said he was harrassing and giving me ultimatums.  Then he said if I fail to take the offer he would red flag my account and send me to collections.  He never answered a question and kept telling me I was interrupting.  But I had to chime in or he would keep repeat himself and praising his great service of working out this deal. He even said I could you the money to buy stuff out of a catalog with 5000 items instead of the paint....You gotta be kidding me.  I told him this was like talking to a used car dealer (and I feel terrible for lumping them with this fellow).   I also asked to see the contract and he said he has it right in front of him I already recieved it.  Changed the subject fast and wouldn't let me see the over 6 year old contract.  I explained that that I wouldn't pay and said he would red flag me and I'd hear from his company tomorrow.  He said since it wouldn't take his deal then they would come after me for over $1600.

I never write on websites like this but if Dura-coat or whatever company is behind this stunt has got to be stopped.  This is unacceptable and we need to find solution to stop this kind of harrassment.

PS My wife even recognized the guys voice from the past since he offered what he called a great entertainment center as a prize and then went crazy when she turned it down.  He couldn't fathom someone with common sense.

This has got to stop.  FYI 573-358-4993 is where my call originated from.

About 2 years ago I purchased 2 gallons of Dura Coat from Industial State Supply, the company goes by several names.  I became aware of their product through an ad in Mother Earth News.  The product did not meet the specifications on the can regarding coverage.  Like an idiot I ordered additional to finish the job.  I then started receiving calls stating that I had been selected to receive free an RCA surround sound system, and it would be sent with my next order.  This caller wanted me to repeat a series of numbers back to him on the telephone.  I assumed it was approval on an invoice number and refused to do so.  The next call asked me to order more product and I responded that I would do so right after I received my free prize.  The next call I received I told the fellow that I felt the business was unethical and would no longer do business with them.  The next call offered to send me a free John Deere catalogue---I declined and asked to be taken off the call list. Today's call was the topper.  I was told that the company had been holding my order of 18 gallons of Dura Coat waiting several months for my directions for shipping.  I told them that I hadn't ordered the product and was informed that I was obligated to buy it because I received a special promotional rate on previous orders.  I called the fellow about every name I could think of and advised him that I plan to contact the Oregon State Attorney General's consumer fraud department.  I plan to do that within the next few days.  Anyone reading this post is encouraged to initiate complaints in their respective states.

Also received a call from James Lynch from Industrial State Farm (ISF).  It's been close to 10 years since we purchased 4 gal. of the dura coat garage floor paint which are still unopened out of mistrust.  Today, 2/29/12, we received a call saying we bought 4 gal. 3 years ago and the next 6 gal for which we supposedly contracted is ready for shipment, we just need to pay an additional $574.84 or it will go to collection.  Needless to say, we did not receive 4 additional gal 3 years ago.  When asked to send a copy of the contract and delivery confirmation, were told he wasn't a secretary.  Told him we would not pay another dime to this company.  RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS FAST AS YOU CAN IF YOU HEAR FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Hey!  I too ordered some Dura-Coat and it is crap!  This was over 3 years ago!  Today some guy by the name of James Lynch calls and says that I have another shipment ready to go out.  Yeah, right!  When I tell him I've signed no contract and that I'm not interested he started getting nasty on the phone with me, telling me he'll take me to collections (really, for what?) and then notify my state (huh?).  I finally hung up on him and decided to put this out on the Internet.  Although I did tell him if they did ship me more product, I would not only send it back, but my attorney would be all over their a**!

Do not use it. I did my entire garage (1 month old concreate--never driven on). It peeled within 3 months. I tried to call the place I had ordered it from ($76/gallon) with a constant busy signal for months. If you lookup the address on Google Maps via satellite, the building is an old abandon building. DON'T APPLY IT--TRY CANCEL THE PAYMENT IF YET POSSIBLE--IT IS A HOAX!!!!  I am going to end up sandblasting my garage floor and put a clear sealer from Home Depot over it.

My call today (6/4/08) was from 800-590-9881,
The guy told me my wife called for DuraCoat information, which was not true.
His name (he said) was Dave Sanda.
My wife and I were in Tennessee last week, and the call indicated that it originated from that state. Someone is probably selling personal information to this number/company.

I am in the process of trying one gallon of Dura Coat.  I started on a small area and it is so thin you can see all the marks below the one coat.  Dura Coat said you need to do two coats.  I called the number on the instructions several times to see if the translucent coat will be covered with the second coat and get some answers to additional guestions, I only get an answering machine.

Its a total scam. We ordered a gallon of "Dura-coat" and are worried about using it because of the sleezy way the salesmen work. Endless high pressure sales calls, and when I asked the salesman to stop calling, he became abusive. DO NOT get involved with this company, you WILL regret it. Shortly after ordering from them by credit card, my credit card number had to be changed because of fraudulent charges. Think about it!

This company is unscrupulous and although I've asked to be removed from their list (three different times today alone!!!!) so here's one number you can call them at 1-866-250-9294. Their website is www.thefarmsupply.com, but it has a different phone number (they probably have to change it frequently to keep complaints down) and their domain is registered through www.domainsbyproxy.com so they can hide the real name of the company or head scammer. Never purchase from a company that hides its very name from the public.

I order 1 gallon of this crap and thats what it is useless junk. about 6 month later this jack a Frank calls me and say he's ready to send the remaining 4 gallons of the 5 gallon order. i say i did not order 5 gallons. he said you must have because thats the the smallest trial size they have. i said BS. he then proceeds to tell me my initial phone converstation is monitored by the FCC and that he will take me to court and sue me to pay them for the remaining 4 gallons. i said how much is 1 gallon?. he said $80. i said that proves i did not order 5 gallon of crap at $80 a gallon as a trial size. Because no idiot in the world would do that.i preceed to riddle Frank with cus words until he finally hangs up. the info on the shipper of the crap they sent was Durco Technologies 1800-590-9881. 1460 North Clinton Ave. Bay Shore NY 11706. please call this number 1800 590 9881. i am not sure if this is ther number or not but if it is let these a holes have it with every word in the book.i called the number late at night and left a tasty message for Frank but i am going to call back agian until i get a person on the line and then blast away at these C sucking A holes.

i've been getting calls from 505-832-3033. Usually they hang up when I answer. Today, I remained silent, he finally speaks, asks for "Bob" (hubby), I say I'm Bob.  He claims I sent in a card requesting info on weed control.  I say yes, but can I call you back. He gives me 1-800-590-9881 and says his name is Drew.  I called # and recording mentions something about protectant then lady comes on line and says the company is "TFS" - it's all a scam, just beat them at their own game! The recording says "Durco Technologies" but lady comes on lines and says "TFS"

Some guy named Jim Burnes from Duracoat called me and tried to fool me with credit card info  - he gave me the first four digits of one of my credit cards and said we ordered something from him - Duracoat makes finish coats for firearms.  We ordered two dogs beds from GunDogSupply.com (they were the only cedar filled ones I could find).  He must have gotten account info from them somehow.  This guy is shady - a salesman from what I can gather.  I am going to report it to GunDogSupply.com
