My husband & I purchased Pulaski Tickets & Tours membership, just recently, in mid Dec. 2011 and within a little more than 2 months, this is what I've done with it:

PERSONAL USE:
Booked 2 rooms @ the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno within a week. Unfortunately, because it was so close to my departure date, the Travel Agent rate was the same as their website at $69/nt. So I booked at my AAA rate at $62/nt instead. However, I entered the Agency's IATA# so I could be able to get a commission back. I have yet to receive that as I just came back this past weekend. Note: We received (4) Orchestra tickets for FREE to their show. Tickets were only $15/ea but they didn't have to give them for free for one & two they didn't have to be Orchestra center seats. Perhaps, those were perks for telling the hotel that you're a Travel Agent.

Booked a 1 bedroom Suite (2 queen beds) in Charlotte, NC for 3nts/4days @ Hyatt Place, weekend of 02/18/12. I paid my Travel Agent rate average of $55/nt. One of my girlfriends who works for another Hyatt hotel was unable to get her employee rate to be cheaper than that.

I have inquired on all other hotels for Travel Agent only discounts, just giving their IATA #:
Examples: $99/nt for Fairmount Hotel in SF, $65/nt for Aston Hotels in Hawaii, $699/week for Wyndham Resort in Waikiki for a 2 bedroom. I personally called these places for future getaways/trips.

BUSINESS USE:
I have booked over 4 airfares, hotels & packages from my personal website as well as used direct hotels & suppliers. I am still waiting for my commission checks on those as half of them have not taken their trip(s) yet. It can take 2-4 weeks for commission, depending on the supplier.

For those who have purchased PULASKI TICKETS  & TOURS & have not used it, that's a shame as you really can get great deals! Take advantage of it.

For those thinking of purchasing it, make sure you USE IT! See, how it can be a benefit to you, your family & friends. We did it because we travel as much as we can when we can and because I wanted to be an Independent Travel Agent as a business. "Pulaski tickets & tours is a fully accredited, endorsed and bonded ARC and IATAN full-service Host Travel Agency". I was already looking into attaching myself to a Host Travel Agency so it was perfect timing.

For those that call it a SCAM, from the postings here, it's mostly people complaining of how they received a call from an 800# or a postcard in the mail, how difficult it is to actually use the FREE trip(s) or voucher, etc. It doesn't really address the Company & the services it actually offers. Those free trips or  restaurant vouchers are marketing tools to get you to see & hear what the company is all about. From what they've told me those vouchers are from a 3rd party company & how to redeem them is THEIR RULES, not Pulaski Tickets & Tours. I've received those "complimentary" trips from just listening to Timeshare Presentation (Shell Vacations) years ago & unless you READ the fine print, you'll get frustrated.

Everyone should always be cautious BUT everything is not always a SCAM!

there are supposedly 40.000 thousand happy 'families' who have signed up and are living as outside
agents, would love to hear of one of them that travels regularly and says it's really worthwhile
as described in 90 min presentation.

Hi, There~
I'm just researching Pulaski, as I'm supposed to attend a seminar tomorrow night.  Your post seems to be the most recent, so I was just hoping that you could inform me if this is legit or not?!?!  Did you get the free trips that they promised?
Any help would be so appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!
Allison :)

Sue, Did you back out or did you keep it?  If you kept it, how is it working out for you? I am where you were a year ago.  I still have 2 days to back out and agree with you....I can't find any information from those who kept their  membership.  Any feedback you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if you got out of the contract with Pulaski Tickets and Tours...or are you still a member.  We also got roped into this but still have 2 days to cancel.  If you are still a member, is it working out for you?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about last post.  I searched 1-800-591-1124 and got this site.  The scam I reported is evidently for a vacum sales company.  Still a scam in my opinion.

They have a new scam.  Going through neighborhoods in and posting a final notice of a package.  All my neighbors had them or a similiar tag on the door.  I saw them walking down the street posting their notes.  They want you to call their 800 number to  schedule delivery.  It looks real offical but the name of the delivery service is missing.  What happened to working for a living?

Was at Christmas in the Park in San Jose and filled out a coupon for a free Completely forgot about it until yesterday when I rec's a call on the cell phone. It was from Pulaski Ticket and Travel in Concord offering me a free trip to Hawaii. I am supposed to bring myself and wife, with ID,to Concord and listen to some presentation next Tuesday (Cause I could not make this Saturday). I asked where the hotel would be at Honolulu Best Western. Told him I wouldn't go to Hawaii, even for free, to stay at a Best Western for 3 days. Then came the upgrade options. When I declined...he switched me to his "Supervisor". THAT'S WHEN I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM. RUN FORM THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from Pulaski Tickets & Tours after filling out something at the Campbell Oktoberfest.  My husband and I ended up attending their sales presentation just last night and after listening through the presentation with an open mind, we ended up buying in.  Not at their initial $6990 offering however.  Instead we asked a lot of questions and looked at the full set of benefits in deciding if we'd be actually recoup our upfront costs.  After hedging for nearly an hour on how we couldn't afford it (we're new homeowners to California), we got the price down to $1990 for a "5 year trial" membership (and only 1 condo week per year instead of the usual 3).  At the end of that period, or any time during, we can pay the additional $1000 to be upgraded to the full 99 year transferable membership.

As was mentioned above, if you can actually use the service and recoup your costs, then wonderful.  Even better if you can make use of the Instant Travel Site to earn commissions from others as well.  I haven't yet played around with that side of things but plan to shortly after my Introduction class on Saturday.  I'm hoping we can use this as a bit of an investment in booking travel for others in addition to taking advantage of some of the great deals ourselves.

Of course, I didn't much care for their hard sell sales tactics in trying to force you to buy that very day, it seemed very scammy as others have mentioned.  But if you can look beyond that to the value underneath (after you've talked them down in price of course), then you may just wind up with something useful.  At least that's what I'm holding out for...  I'll let you know after I take my first trip.  :)

But I was able to see the value underneath all the

I received a call from 925-726-2500.  He told me I was selected for free 3 nights/2 days vacation package which included free round tickets and hotel from something I entered two years ago from the Fremont Arts and Festival. I know I didnt't so I laughed to his face and allowed him to continue. So, he said that I need to do is visit their agency at 2190 Meridian Park Blvd, Suite M, Concord CA 94520 to listen to Mr Pulaski himself talk about his travel agency should be about an hour or so. No hidden fee and no need to buy anything! He must have said this about 4 times.  I told him that I had to talk with my spouse. He is going to call me back tomorrow. Luckily, he has my work number. I'm sorry that some of you already paid the price.   It's a sad day when people are still trying to scam us during these times.

This is to Amy and any others that have purchased into Pulaski Ticket & Tours.  I have been searching the internet about their company.  I have seen a lot of complaints on their marketing system, and on the cashing in on the free trips.  One thing that is lacking - BIG TIME - is that I have yet to see a complaint from people that have purchased into the program and gone on the trips - you know, really used the service.

I have checked the Better Business Bureau and the company has an A rating. A couple of sites have had individuals stating they have been with them for a few years, and LOVE the trips. (Mind you - only a couple)

Is this a scam? - I don't know.  One thing I do know is that the complaints are all from people who don't like the sales pitch and didn't buy,(yes, it is intimidating) and human nature is to complain, not praise - so the complaints will get more voice in the media or on the internet.
Since you purchased, and it is past the 3 day buyers remorse time period - use the service - don't let it sit in your bottom drawer.   If you just save $500. a year you will of made your money back in 6 years, and you still have 93 years of service left.  (One $99. Hotweek will do it)

I still have 2 days to back out on the contract..  For me, the jury is still out....I'm more concerned about the company folding in the next couple of years.

I am writing to let other know what the facts are about the presentation put on my Pulaski Tickets and Tours. I should also include Hallmark Travel and the marketing company that first sent the notice to me that I would receive two free nights at the Hyatt. I thougth that it would just be a Time Share or something like that I would attend and then receive my free gift of the two night stay. After attending  I received a Vacation Getaway with so many terms and conditions that to me appears more like a bait and switch. So be aware that the stay can not be with in 125 miles of your home. You have to send a postal money order to them for $75.00 has a deposit and you have to give them two dates which can not be within 30 days from one another and you if you stay on a weekend that you will have to pay a amount towards that. You can not stay within a week before or a week after a holiday. So all I am trying to say is if you agree to all of this because they will sugar coat it and make is seem all easy and exciting beware it is not. And by the way the Vacation Club that they are pushing seemed like a scam too. They are Pulaski Tickest and Tours out of Concord California. Their phone number is 1-925-676-2500

We got the same envelope. My husband called for more details and was told that Pulaski was a travel management company seeking new client. He asked how they could afford to offer free tickets and was told that they "write it off as a business expense." We decided to go because I am a travel agent and I wanted to see how other travel companies were marketing themselves. We declined to pay and enroll as travel agents because it is unethical (they actually told us that we did not have to sell any travel to get travel agent discounts - just pay the membership fee), and such "card mills" take away from the benefits that are meant for genuine travel agents who work hard as a community to earn them.
They gave us a form to fill and send to Certs, Inc.,along with a postal money order for $100, who would send us tickets on Jet Blue. The dates for travel had to be 60 days out and you could give an alternate date which was at least 30 days from the first date. We chose dates on which Jet Blue's flights were wide open. Seats were available at the lowest fare. After about a month we got a letter that taxes and fees had gone up and they needed $50 more. With it was a form to sign if you wanted to give up the offer and get your money back. Taxes between the destinations we chose  were just $36.22 per person. Nevertheless we sent an additional $50. We had listened to their presentation and they owed us two tickets. About a month after that we got another letter saying that seats were not avbl for the dates we had requested, we could get our money back or give alternate dates
I called Certs, Inc(this time there was a phone nbr)and asked them to book us to Washington on any thursday returning the following monday. I was told "we dont work that way. You have to fill in the form and comply with the conditions of the original offer." When I asked what those terms were I was told the dates should be60 days out and with 30 days between that and alternate dates. This was not written on the new letter. So if you dont look at the original form and you choose dates that do not meet this condition they can tell you that you failed to meet the conditions.
In short, they make it so difficult to get free tickets that you eventually give up and ask them to return the money thinking you could lose that too if they went out of business.
I asked the woman I spoke to what percentage of people give up and ask for their money back. Of course she did not know the answer to that!
any advise from anyone?

I had the same offer as Ron Paul (The Guy Above), however the lady said she was calling from indiana and reresenting a new travel company by the name of "Hallmark" that is opening in Concord, CA; when she found out I was not married, I was ruled out from winning one of the four prizes. She then stating if I new of another couple they could go and pick the one of the four prizes.
The number she call from was 773-667-7590 X 231
They are getting our information most likly over the internet.

WE received the official looking letter too in Oakland, CA. Went to the
presentation in Concord. VEEERY high pressure and slick. As all of my fellow
"future travel agents" were senior citizens. I would consider the misleading sale and marketing gimmicks would border on elder abuse. How these people can sleep at night is beyond me. Right after the presentation all of us were besieged by sales people doing the hard sell. It was very slick and rehearsed. We ended up with worthless "rebates" ( would hate to try and redeem them ). A sale person named "Chuck" hissed "what did you come here for anyway". My advice is Stay away. I will be contacting Alameda county DA.
