I purchased Longevity from Urban Nutrition. A week later $1.00 charged by WellnessWatchersMD on my debit card, then $49.95 charged 8/27/08.
Called 800 number. He wanted to mail request for refund. I told him I wanted charge reversed. He put me on hold and never came back.
Called Urban Nutrition. 1st call to them indicated WellnessWatchers was an affiliate. Gave me direct line. That number belonged to someone named Janiene. 2nd call to them and they denied affiliation and put me on 'permanent' hold.
I called my bank and cancelled debit card, indicating charge was unauthorized. Bank will return funds to my account. Urban Nutrition removed from my list of supplement providers.

I am also one victim of this phone ID. Two fraudulant transcations appreared in my credit card during one month with this phone number identifier for US$1.00 and US$29.90.
This phone number has some connection with Barton Publishing.Com and they are doing this fraud business as a joint venture. I did a transaction with Barton Publishing and the charged me extra US$19.90 with their name and then US$1.00 and US$29.90 appreaded in my credit card statement under name of WellnessMD800-591-6383 and WellwatchMD800-591-6383.

These people have been giving me a bad name . I am sorry but this is not my website. These people unscrupuloulsy keep automatically charging you , if you checked off a little box when you bought something. You used wellnesswatchermd.com <http://wellnesswatchermd.com/> not www.wellnessmd. com. We do not sell subscriptions, pills or automatically charge anyone for anything. We use a webstore registered under Yahoo.com called WellnessMD Webstore. I have contacted Peter Meyer, and told him to stop using our name in his billing. He says it always says wellnesswatchersMD, he lies, just as you describe. Please call their 1-866-956-2710 number or email peter meyers at the company, he is the president. Complain to better business bureau, but get the name straight. We have had many people complain about this company to us. Please contact them directly. We are not the same company, we are www.WellnessMD.com. Abraham Kryger, MD. Wellnessmd.com.

I can assure that the other side of the story is all about predation. This company will try to scam as many peopel as it can get away with - that is the way it operates. It should be shut down
JAJPG 2010-02-07 20:05:44 Unknown
It is outrageous that a scam company such as yours is allowed to continue to do business and prey on unsuspecting credit card holders. Your company should be shut off from all merchant accounts - and it will be reported to the Attorneys General, consumer fraud, American Medical Association, U.S. House Oversight committess, including Hon. Barney Frank, etc. Business must rid itself of bloodsuckers like your WellnessWatchersMD. What incredible arrogance for you to reply to the contrary.

Also, I noticed they started their scam with a charge of $1.83. Then next month, the $29.95 charges started. I guess the $1.83 charge is a test scam.

We were scammed from WellwatchMD also. They took $29.95 out of our checking account for 6 months and we never noticed! Hubs had also ordered a tooth whitening product online :(
Now the bank is trying to get our money refunded, and we have cancelled the debit card the thieves used....
Scamming b*****ds need to be shut down.

I ordered a product off of TV for a hyponosis dieting plan. After I had submitted my credit card info and got an approval on the order. A small window popped up with a live chat from a person named Tara telling me that I now was entered into a free trial of Wellness Watcher MD, and that my card would be charged 9.95 a month for this whatever it is. This is fraud!! I did not order anything but the CD and these scammers jumps in and takes charge of my credit card number and want to charge me monthly for something that I DID NOT ORDER!!. I have called twice and these crooks say that they will take care of it but they have not. I am going to our Attorney General's office with this. Scammers, Crooks and every kind of low life is always out there waiting to steal from someone else because they are too lazy to earn an honest living for themselves.

Please call me at 1-866-956-2710 so I can take care of this for you right away. My name is Charity, and my hours are 10am-6pm Central Standard Time. Personally, I think that WellnessWatchersMD is a pretty good deal, or I wouldn?t work here. They send out thousands of $25 gift cards and $50 rebate checks every month. They also help hundreds of people with their Ask-the-Doctor service. If you were charged by mistake, I am authorized to give you a refund.

June 2009 - I purchased the celebrity whitening teeth whitener and noticed on my credit card account the same above mention fees from welwatchMD. These are considered fraudulent charges. My credit card company was more then helpful, cancelling my charge card, re-issuing a new card and following up with these fraudulent charges. According to the credit card company I do not have to pay the welwatchMD charges. My advise to anyone who is getting these charges is to IMMEDIATELY call your credit card company, cancel you card and report the welwatchmd charges as FRAUDULENT. Boy have I ever learnt a lesson about internet buying.

I was also scammed from these people...They are part of celebrity sexy teeth however they say you need to call their order mailing department. I call them and they are rude however everyone has the same "hold" music. I am filing against then with BBB, Secretary of state, and I am looking for every single blog possible to let them know. They have charged me and then charged again for nothing...I have a Ted Tanner, a Sarah, and a Danielle however they will not give last names.....BUYER BEWARE

I ordered a book to help get rid of kidney stones I have recieved nothing but you have taken two payments off my credit card i want to cancel my order with you and my money back!
Sandy 2009-05-08 20:00:26 Unknown
I also saw an extra charge of .98 on my account. So I went to the original notice of purchase and got this phone numner: 1-866-955-0823, called and talked to a live person from WellnessWatcherMD. Said she would credit the .98 right then, but of course it's too early to tell. If I don't see the credit by the first part of next week I will cancel my card. Hope you get some help.

Barton Publishing is a scam! They may provide you with your order, but they also provide you with many sporadic mystery charges to your credit card or account! I made SURE that I did not approve any additional services when I purchased my booklet. But low & behold, as my husband made fun of me for not knowing better, I recieved many mystery charges to my credit card. With the help of the resolutions team at my credit card company, I was able to reach Barton Publishing through a number & web-site that WAS NOT provided by Barton Publishing on their web-site or when they e-mailed the booklet. Here is the information where I was able to contact Barton Publishing. I hope it helps you get your credit! Spread the word.

ÇHi, I just wrote you an e-mail, regarding undue charges made to my VISA account, I expect to receive an answer and a solution to my detailed account of events, having been charged by you fraudulently for the amount of US$119.90. I really hope to have a positive reply to my request. Ingrid.
ingrid 2009-04-21 16:10:51 Unknown
Hi there, you don't seem to be the only one, my fraudulent charges by the same "actors" amount already to $119.90, I have talked with my Bank executive, and was told they could do nothing about it. It all started by ordering a book from Barton Publishing Co. I wonder if they sell their mailing list and client data???? How else can I explain being charged by someone I have never had contact with, and just exactly after ordering a book from Barton Publishing Co. REgards, Ingrid.

HERE'S WHAT TO DO.
You call your bank and have them call the company with you on the line. You let the bank enquire about the withdrawls and have the scamming little verments try, and I say try, to justify it to the bank. We all know that every bank is connected with eachother and that every company "NEEDS" the banks support to stay in business.
Then when they put both feet in their mouth with you waiting on the line and listening, you have the bank cancel the withdrawls and have the bank demand that your money be returned. ALL OF IT!.\
Once the verments know that they are messing with a bank they back right off like the chickens that they are, returning all the money.
Oh ya and if the banks say they won't get involved you take the name of the operator at the bank and go to head office stating you will stop using the said bank and will notify head office that they will not help you stop this scam therefore all my mortage and life insurance and whatever else you have will be moved to a new bank and give the operators #.
It will stop, banks will not let you leave at a time when competition for "YOUR MONEY" is so tight.
You just need to be firm.

these people are BIG SCAMMERS! I tried to call to cancel and get my money back because I did not give them permission to charge my account and never even heard of them!!! They insisted that I give them my whole credit card number. I was not born yesterday! How stupid you must think we are. By the way if you look up their number on the internet they are just a family in california. I will be getting in touch with my bank and they will get my money back from these crooks!
andrea 2009-03-20 15:01:31 Unknown
This is absolutely a scam. Try calling the number "Joe" gives in the email above - you will get a recording that says to call the other number, where you will talk to a "third party customer service representative" who will say that you have to do all cancellations, etc. through the barton web site - they can, of course, take an order over the phone. I order a pamphlet, just like the other person, chose NO on any extra option, was not able to confirm my order, then was charged $29.95 over my order, and was signed up for a $9.95 newletter. I sent an email back to "support@bartonpublishing" and the customer service rep said to do to cancel. I got charged again a month later and have called only to get the same run around again. I have canceled my credit card, so hopefully none of their fraudulent charges will go through. I hate that they have my email address, though. I also reported them to the Federal Bureau of Consumer Protection under four different counts of fraud. I recommend anyone else who has been scammed do the same:
