I keep getting. This voicemail stating theres a personal matter. I dont owe any one money.  Its annoying

I got a call from a ROBOT (autodialer) saying to call "Julie Smith" about an "important personal matter". Thanks to nick41 on 5 Oct 2012 above...I did a little research as well.

You know I believe in giving people POWER to fight these bottom feeders of society and living off of the misery of everyday people. So, Why not call Mat Alkire now that you have his information and leave him a message? It is only fair...they call you when you do not want them too! Keep receiving a call from this number 800-593-1316. I changed my number once to get rid of bill collectors so now it seems i am getting collection calls for someone else. They leave a voice mail saying call Julie Smith.

i got a call from this number. it was a woman. she asked if my name was "so-n-so." the name she used was my name, but i refused to tell her it was me or give her any details until she stated who she represented, and what the call was in regards to. she was very rude, and would not give me any information, just kept asking my name, which i refused to give her. she said that she would call again in the next couple days, and hung up. i've never owned a credit card. the only debt i have is from my youth; $50 in library fines, and a videogame i never returned to movie gallery. nothing big or anything i've ever been concerned about. i think they were trying to collect fake debt. i'll post again next time they call.

Just got my second call in the past two days from this number. Both times I got a machine that tells me all of the representitaves are busy. I didn't call them so why am I getting that message?! This caller is ridiculous, I need to find a way to block them!

I received a call and called them back.  Asked if I knew a Tara.  When I said no, she said it was a wrong number and will take me off the list. They haven't called back since.

Number comes across everyday. Answered this time to ask them to stop. Could not tell whether the foreign voice was a woman or a man. S/he kept asking questions to no avail. I provided no information. Asked the caller to stop calling, and person threw a fit. Caller would not state the purpose of the call or affiliation. I hung up.

I recently got a new phone number and I have been receiving calls from 800-593-1316.  They are very rude and don't seem to understand/believe that I am not the person they are calling for.  I have done some research and apparently this company used to be called DRS Bonded.  They are not going by Fairway Capital Recovery.  DRS have several complaints against them with the BBB and the Ohio State Attorney General's Office.  Here is their information if you would like to contact them and request they stop calling

Received voice mail with pre-recorded prompts, followed by a woman who said "Hello" and then requested to speak with a person by name as if she did not realize she was leaving a message. Nothing else was recorded.

Got a call at the office from an Eric Martinez for an employee who no longer even lives in the state.  Said she needed to call back immediately.  Hope Mr. Martinez is sitting next to the phone for a call that will never come.

Wow, so sad. There's an FCC complaint against them starting as far back as 2008 (when you posted this info.) and here it is Sept. of 2012 and they're STILL calling people? That just s/u/x. Apparently the FCC is worthless with these complaints.

I just save the number they call from as "junk" and the ringtone to "no ring" and ignore them.  I don't owe anyone anything (not even a mortgage) so they got no business calling me.  If they can't leave a message telling me who they are and why they are calling me, then they are clearly not a reputable business and I got no time for them!

I have zero debt!  Don't even owe on a mortgage or own a credit card!  I am getting calls saying I MUST call Julie Smith about a serious personal matter!  WHAT?  I don't owe anything to anybody, especially my time!  Just blocked number from my phone!

stop calling and stop using other numbers (513-985-4995)....if it is a personal matter say what it is.. I will not take these calls and how do you get peoples cell numbers..over it

I've gotten a call from this number once a week for about a month. I  have no idea who it is, since they don't give the company name. I'm not about to call back until they give me a company name or a real person leaves me a voicemail. Like everyone else, I get a reference number, which I have written down and cross referenced with ANY of my debts and  that reference number does NOT appear on any of them. Julie Smith is going to be very disappointed when she doesn't receive my call. Poor thing. (ha!)  I will NOT respond until I get another type of message, whether snail mail with said reference number, a voicemail from a real person, or a voicemail with the company name. Forget that crap.

Fairway Capital Recovery.  I spoke to a very nice gentleman.  He verified my identify information and I verified what the collection was for which was for something from 2 years ago at an old address.  I didn't even know! If you're nice, they are nice.  A collection agency wouldn't call if you didn't owe something.  Just own up to it and deal with it.  Make any necessary arrangements, etc.  If you can't pay, of course they will push for payment.  In this instance, the agent waived the fee associated with paying by phone.  (I know, silly charge but still).  

Just BE NICE and you'll get NICE back.

I received a call from this number today and the message said to call this number and ask for Julie Smith with a reference number. How can we stop these people? I am registered with Do Not Call but guess this company is not included.

I have a lawyer handling all my medical debts (which all my debts are) and these people don't own any of them. I'm not a deadbeat and I do have medical ins but after some major health issues I was still left with thousands of dollars in medical debt. I've hired a lawyer to help me take care of everything and he's confirmed this company does not own any of my debt. So you can call people deadbeats all you want but not knowing the situation first means you're an ignorant prick and willfully ignorant at that. I'm guessing you guys workfor these pricks because how else would you even get here?

Similar to those above, I've been getting calls a few times a month from either a blocked number or a 000-000-0000 number that always has a recording to "call Julie Smith regarding a personal matter" and then they give me a reference number.

I figure if it's really that important they wouldn't block the call and they'd tell me who the heck they are. I want to know how to stop the calls though...without knowing the company it's pretty hard to report them.

They left me a message and when I called back they were looking for an Alexandra, they said they would remove my number.
