The phone numbers changes with every call, and the accent sounds like India or Pakistan. The other day it was from Chicago, the next day this 800 number, and today it is Florida with the phone number 850-208-3782.
They call a few times a day saying they have an auto part I ordered. Here's the problem, I don't own a car, I use public transportation. This is pure B.S harassment. How can this be profitable for them?

I have never looked up auto parts, so I don't know why I keep getting calls from this number.

I had a missed call from this number and they told me the same thing the other person said on this forum (from sam Nov, 19 2009). They said to call them back at this number regarding the order I placed and when I call to make sure I have the reference # from the email they sent me. Checked my email, nothing. I googled the number to see what company has this 800 number and this forum came up. I didn't call them back because #1 I didn't place any kind of order anywhere and #2 whatever email they are referring to is non existent.

SCAM? I had ordered a search with an auto parts search - web - site. I received a call from Quality Auto Parts and a return number, case number and telephone number to call back: 800 593 3134. I returned the call and everyone I was transferred to had an Indian accent. These people did not sound like auto wrecking yard people. They were very confused and seemed to know nothing about the part I was searching for. They claimed they had sent me an eMail. I did not receive an eMail. I stated that I want to see a photo of the body part before ordering. Then, they replied, SORRY, WE DON'T HAVE THAT PART". Should you make a transaction with any online purchase, ask for a photo, then, only pay through the credit cards indicated as accepted on their web-site - page. Don't give out your credit card information over the telephone. Should you have a problem with an ONLINE payment, you can at least file an ONLINE TRANSACTION COMPLAINT FORM with your bank and have a good chance of getting your money back.

I've been communicating w/ Quality Used Transmissions. Here is the reply I sent back to them. "I was going to place an order,. However, when I checked BBB report (have you ever seen it w/ your own naked eyes?), I've decided NOT to deal w/ you and others w/ "F" rating.
Sorry, I just cannot risk $800 to $900+ disappearing from my bank account. Also, not only sending an engine/transmission w/ bogus mileage, it was "Pulling-the-Teeth" to get a full refund.
Why can't you try to improve BBB ratings. In fact, BBB issued a warning about your company to NOT deal w/ your company back in April of 2011. It was two years ago and looks like you have not done anything to improve the BBB rating. Trust me, I would've ordered engine AND tranny if you are rated "A", just like LKQ.
Don't you think you should START doing business correct way?
Thanx for your help, but, no thank you. Please remove my email address and phone # from your database."
I requested an engine and tranny price, so, they did not call/email me randomly. I just want to see if they will honor my request. I'll let you know if they've removed my info from their database.

This place called me so i called them back. They anwsered without saying company name. And when i told them what i was looking them where asking me questions that know other junk yard would ask and they told they need pacific info like wheel base, for a rear fender on a 1 ton daully? Seems like a scam to me. I've delt with alot of junk yards but nun like that! Plus they said they sent me an email witch i never recieved.

Yea, I only entered in my phone number to a site so I could search for a car part or ask a question or something.. With in minutes I got a call from a 312 number, then about an hour later, this number called and left a message that I haven't even checked yet.. Just proof that you shouldn't put your number on the internet.. Even when filling out information that is required in certain fields.

I received a call from this number today telling me they were calling regarding my order that they had just sent to my email address, and to please call them back with the order number (they left on message). I called them back and it sounded like a woman from India, she identified the company as Quailty Auto Parts and when I questioned the phone call placed to my cell, she said it must have been a mistake but was I interested in buying any auto parts? This has to be some kind of scam.....

I had a missed call from this number, with no voicemail left, after five days earlier posting a request for a used car rim on a salvage web site.
lhReceived call and man said he h 2010-06-11 23:37:25 Unknown
The man said he had the parts I needed and he did.
I bought them and he delivered in 5 days.
They are around Chicago
I would use them again
WN 2009-12-18 20:07:15 Unknown
Agreed.
I received the same people calling after using one of the "find a part" sites.
mt 2009-10-22 14:31:47 Unknown
I got a call from this number, which resulted in a v-mail.
The business name is Quality Auto Parts and they were responding
to an inquiry I had made at one of these "used auto parts" locating
websites (I was searching for a part from salvage yards).
If you use one of these websites, you might not want to leave your
phone number, as you'll possibly get numerous calls. It would be best
to only leave an email address for responses.
