Bogus credit card charge from EST .11

Got a 14 cent charge on my credit card.  VISA cannot help and has very little information.  Makes me angry.

I just got my credit card statement yesterday evening and saw a charge from Oct 2 for 9 cents from "EST COMPANY 800-596-7814 US".  I googled that phrase and needless to day, got an eye-opener about things I didn't know I didn't know.  Now I know.

I called my bank today and had the card cancelled.  I'll get a new one in 7 to 10 days, free of charge.  I'll have to re-set up several automatic payments that come out of my card, but that's far easier than handling large fradulent charges if and when they would have happened.  Lucky for me, nothing else fradulent had happened yet.

Got a charge on my credit card for 0.13 on 10/2/08 from EST Company 8005967814 FL -- 10/17/08 got over $4000 in fraudulant charges.

Cancel you card before it happens to you.

No phone call, but fraudulent pre-authorization for .09 on my Visa debit card. Have to wait for the actual charge (which may be different from the 9 cents, and I'm told by my bank can be up to $1500) to post tonight.

Here's what the pre-authorization reference says:

Only AFTER the charge is actually posted can I dispute it with Visa.

This number has been calling me for a week now. They leave no messages and when I pick up they hang up.

Fraudulent charge for $9.45 on 9/11/2008 from EST Company with this phone number.  Credit card compamy has reversed it.

I also have received a $9.40 charge on my charge card from this EST COMPANY.
Beware that there is also a "K-TECH SOLUTIONS 308-646-0010 NY" that is also charging fraudulant charges of approx $13 to $15.  I have that charge from August as well.

Received a fraudulent charge of $9.35 listed as EST COMPANY, on my credit card.  Also have been getting a phone call just about every day from someone who hangs up when I answer.

Have a charge for $9.35 on my credit card with this call back number...voice mail...called the credit card company and reported the fraudulent charge.  Had to close down my account and get a new card!  What a pain.  Someone needs to stop this place!

Received a fraudulent charge on 08/24/2008 from "EST COMPANY" for $9.40 listing this number as the merchant contact info.  This number goes to a generic voicemail system with no identifying information (company name, etc) in the annoucement.

Yea, its Time Warner (Road Runner). Past Due/disconnection notice.

Had an unuthorized use of my card from a company with this number

I got a billing on a credit card that I don't use anymore. I WILL be calling the card company.

They keep calling to say they are doing surveys..one day it was the department of commerce (although they couldn't pronounce commerce) another day it was something else. i said to put me on their do not call list and they claim not to have them. When I told them that was illegal and I needed to talk to a supervisor they said numbers are automatically generated. Finally they said they could do it..shockingly..the number is on my caller id again.

Just received a call from this number. Left a voicemail message that said, "we're sorry to keep you waiting". Then hung up. Didn't mention any company or name.-

receive at least 2 calls an hour with a recorded message finally. most of the time no message to call alliance one. I have no idea who this is or why they are trying to collect a debt. Want the calls to stop.I'm about to loose my job, they call so many times.

Had a charge posted to my card today for .16 listing EST company with 800-596-7814. Called credit card company today and told them to reverse the charge that I believed it to be fradulant based on internet search. When I called the 800 number, I got a number not in service message.

I had a charge of .07 charge to my Visa card. Red flags went up and I canceled card right away and filed dispute. I believe that this company is verifying if these cards are activated to charge a higher amount at a later date! I was never called it just showed up on my statement and the phone # listed in Florida states that the # has not yet been activated. Cancel cards right away

Also have a charge from "EST Company" on my credit card statement on 10/01/08 for $0.10 that was not authorized.  The 800 number is listed as their contact number but is not valid when I try to call it.  Don't know what or who it is but I will be changing my account number shortly!

no calls but a charge for .08 showed up on my debit card. My husband and I are both deployed to Iraq so they dont even have a phone number to call. I will be calling my bank, but seriously...WTF?

Went online and checked my checking account. There was an unauthorized debit for .14. I am going on my lunch to cancel my debit card for fear once they figure out that the debit went through they will clean me out.

Charged my card $.13.  I have not called or spoken to anybody about a purchase of any type.  When I called the number listed, the phone rings twice and goes to a busy signal.

I had a charge come through for 10 cents.. yea not that much but there are people out there that put a small charge through to test the account to make sure it works.  Then they move onto much larger purchases.

I called the number and the message said this number is not yet activated.  to activate this number please call customer service.  I cancelled my card and have to wait for the bank to send a new one.

Received a charge on my card for $.10.  When I called the number the recording states that the number has not been activated.

I received an unauthorized charge on my atm/debt card for .10 cents. My bank notified me and said that they believed it was fraudulent and closed the card out. The bank then asked me to file a dispute on the card when the charge goes through if it does.  It did go through as a charge and I have called my bank and they are investigating.

Fradulant charge on Library credit card with this number.  Charge was only .11.  Plan to call credit card company and let them know about this charge; even though it is only .11.  Charge says EST Company.

Bogus charge on my credit card from EST Company in FL, listed this number.

Same deal, $.15 on my debit card by EST Company.  I didn't catch it in time -- now $500 in "gift cards" has been charged.  Card is canceled and my bank is investigating.  I highly recommend closing your account and opening a new one.
