I called them back.  It's some collection agency saying that I owe taxes in a state I wasn't in at the time.  They said that they will continue to call and harass me.  I've always paid all my taxes.

hey, i received the exact same call. Do you still receive this calls? Have you contacted the agency. Do you know is this a scam. I also pay all my taxes. As a matter of fact I haven't been in the state they told me I owe the taxes.

It is a collection agency that specializes in collecting state taxes.  I have a demand letter with 800-597-0801 and Walker and Associates for MA state taxes which I do not owe.  They are rude.

I see this call to one of my voip phones from time to time. Appears to be a collection agency of some sort.

Just got a new cellphone, with a new number.  Once I activated the phone, I had a voicemail message.  A recording from this number, asking for a callback, stating an "urgent business matter".  Since this is a new number for me, this is obviously either meant for someone else, or a scam, most likely both!
